I turned inward,

Not to escape,

But to cradle the parts no one could shape.

Beneath the doubt,

Beneath the spin,

There was a warmth and it sang from within.

Not a whisper,

Not a cry,

But a loving memory that never died.

It said you came to feel,

To shine,

To offer your love beyond all time.

Return to breath,

Return to grace,

Return to your heart,

Your sacred place.

So I closed my eyes and met the flame,

The seed,

The ache,

The quiet claim.

I softened my gaze and felt that flame,

The dream,

The wound,

The love with my name.
