Poetry: Pulling Back Heart Layers
Pulling Back Heart Layers is a soulful healing poem about vulnerability, emotional healing, opening your heart, and gently allowing yourself to be seen. Sometimes the walls around our heart were built for a reason. They protected us from pain, rejection, disappointment, and the fear of being truly seen. But sometimes the layers that once kept us safe can also begin to keep love, connection, and tenderness out. This Heart Poem is an invitation to gently meet those layers with compassion—not by forcing yourself to open, but by creating enough safety to let your heart soften in its own time. To let vulnerability become a choice rather than a threat, and to allow more truth, self-love, intimacy, and connection to move through you. Love, Harrison. Xoxo
