Welcome beautiful heart,
Sensitive souls back to another guided meditation here with your host Harrison.
Today's intention is for those that are high achievers,
Caregivers,
A reminder that you do not have to earn rest and today you can let yourself simply Let us begin.
Closing your eyes and starting to get comfortable.
Today's meditation is recorded in the mountains of Maiolo,
Italy,
So you will hear birds,
Ambient forest sounds.
I invite you to use them to help you drop deeper today.
I will offer you some advice as we begin.
Today is a permission to stop.
For the next 20-25 minutes,
I remind you with so much love in my heart that nothing is expected of you.
There is nowhere to be,
Nothing to accomplish,
Nothing to prove.
So let us take our first big deep breath together,
Breathing in and out.
And breathing out acknowledging this.
For yourself getting more comfortable.
More relaxed.
Perhaps somewhere along your day today,
Along your path this week,
You learned that there must be something you worked for.
For a lot of us,
This is entrenched from childhood,
From school,
From families,
From the environment that we grow up in.
That you could only relax after the work.
Was finished.
After everyone else was okay,
After all the emails were answered,
The house was clean,
After all of it was done.
Today we are here to move beyond all of this.
Today we are here to remember that rest was never a reward.
That you get to fully enjoy coming back into stillness,
Coming back into slowness,
Coming back into ease because you have always been worthy of it.
Breathing into this.
And out.
Hearing the wind behind me.
Allowing your body even more to let go.
Go.
And with me now,
We will continue with our breath,
But this time we will exaggerate and extend the exhale so you get to let go into rest further.
So you get to let go into the rest deeper.
So with me,
Breathing in through your nose for 5,
4,
3,
2,
1,
Holding for 2,
1 and out through your mouth for 7,
6,
5,
4,
3,
2,
1.
3.
.
.
2.
.
.
1,
Going again in for 5,
4,
3,
2,
1.
Two.
And one holding for two.
One out for five.
Four.
3.
And one last time,
Releasing even more in for five,
Four,
Three,
Two,
One.
2,
1,
Holding for 2,
1,
Out for 7,
6,
5,
4,
3,
Two,
And one.
Coming back into your own.
Breathing rhythm.
Feeling all of the people that you've been caring for,
The problems you've been trying to solve,
The goals and expectations.
That you have been chasing.
See them all as.
.
.
Smooth.
Stein's death.
You get to gently,
Get to gently release.
Nothing is being abandoned.
Only pausing.
Seeing yourself now as These stones have been released.
Seeing yourself.
On this path.
One.
A beautiful day.
Glorious.
Sanctuary.
Perhaps this sanctuary is a.
.
.
Peaceful garden.
Forest,
Much like the one I'm sitting in right now.
Maybe there's a temple or a childhood home of joy and peace.
Whatever appears to you is perfect.
And seeing yourself approach.
Seeing yourself.
Walk up to the entrance of this sanctuary.
Sanctuary has no.
.
.
No gates.
No gods.
No checklists or anything that is being asked of you to be achieved.
No one is asking you how productive you have been,
How much you have completed on this day.
You are simply invited and allowed in.
For being.
So beautiful heart.
Step in.
Step into this sanctuary and notice how the air feels different.
How the atmosphere feels.
Slower.
Kinda.
Gentle.
An environment that feels open to you.
Seeing yourself finding a place.
And everything around you.
Welcoming you.
Not because you did anything.
Purely because.
Your presence is exactly here.
As it is.
Breathing in this space.
And out through your mouth expand.
Breathing in this space.
And out through your mouth,
Expanding.
Observing now,
Still in this sanctuary.
Noticing that someone is there.
Is approaching you.
This.
Someone is a.
.
.
Version of you.
Part that.
.
.
As always.
Part that is always.
Planning ends.
Harrying.
You notice how How tired they are.
You notice the determination.
In their eyes.
Constant effort.
And movement that they carry.
With so much love and compassion in your heart,
You invite them to sit beside you.
And with a smile.
And so much love,
You repeat.
You.
Have done enough today.
You.
Have done enough today.
Thank you.
For everything you've carried.
Thank you.
For everything that you've carried.
You do not have to protect me in this moment.
You do not have to protect me in this moment.
I.
Grateful for you.
I am grateful for you.
With these words.
Moving from and through you,
Notice.
How this version of you is.
How their shoulders begin to soften.
How their eyes.
.
.
Into Brighton.
How they're breathing.
Begins to slow.
Perhaps this is the first time they have been told that they can rest.
Perhaps this is the first time that they have been told that they are enough and worthy just as they are.
Staying here.
With them.
With yourself.
For a couple more.
Natural reds.
Simply offering your compassion.
And with me,
One breath together,
Breathing in.
And yeah.
Choose now in this sanctuary.
To see yourself lying back.
Lying back and.
.
.
Looking upward.
And up above you in this sanctuary you see a golden light.
This light asks for nothing.
This light is not a reward.
It's not a prize.
It is simply available to you.
So with me now,
With every inhale I invite you to allow this light to pour through your body.
Breathing in.
Feeling your body and out.
Going again,
Breathing in this light fully.
And out.
Continuing this.
And feeling the light move through the different areas of your being,
The different areas of hold so much.
Forcing,
Pushing,
Expectation.
Your chest,
Your shoulders,
Your belly.
Your eyes,
Your jaw,
Your legs,
Your hips.
Receive.
To be nourished.
Receive instead of always giving.
Receive because.
.
.
This light is yours.
Breathing in.
Amen.
Finally here as we soak up even more light in your being,
In your being.
Fullest field.
Move your attention and awareness back down,
Back down into your hands.
And in your hands you see a piece of parchment,
A notepad.
Something.
That has words written across it.
These words you've unconsciously carried for years,
Even decades.
Words that start and are versions of words.
I can rest when.
.
.
I can slow down after.
I'll be enough or I'll be worthy once.
I'll be loved when I do.
Take a moment.
To read.
Whatever variation of these words.
Resonate.
And appear to you.
Read these words with compassion.
And empathy.
For the younger.
Heart of you that wrote them,
Trying to survive.
Trying to earn love.
Trying to earn.
Safety.
Taking and holding the parchment close to your heart.
And as we hold it on our heart,
We will now breathe in and as we exhale,
We resolve and dissolve these words.
Breathing in.
And out dissolving.
Breathing in.
And out to selfie.
You.
Are allowed to rest.
Because you simply are.
You are allowed to rest.
Because you simply are.
Feel the weight.
Of the support,
Of the love.
Of the fullness that you are.
As we come to a close here in your sanctuary,
Your sanctuary of rest.
I remind you that this space and place is always available to you.
So,
The next time… that you feel you need to earn or strive or prove.
In order to slow down.
You know where to go.
You know where to return.
Taking one more breath with me,
Breathing in with softness and so much ease.
Coming back into your body.
Wiggling your toes and your fingers.
Bringing awareness to the bed or the chair,
Wherever you are.
Meditating today.
And feeling connected once more when you're ready,
You can open your eyes.
Moving from here with so much.
And softness in your being.
