Sitting comfortably,
Take a deep,

Fingers,
Your right hand.
Feel your left arm from your shoulder to your fingertips.
And release all the tension from your left shoulder,

Your left hand.
Feel your torso.
Release all the tension from your collarbone and your shoulder blades.
Feel all the tension melt away from your ribs.
Melt out of the center of your chest.
Feel the tension dissolve out of your belly,
Your lower back,
And your abdomen.
Release all the tension from your right hip and your left hip.
Feel your right leg.
Release all the tension from your right thigh,
Knee,
Lower leg,
Ankle,
Toes,
Your right foot.
Feel your left leg.
Release all the tension from your left thigh,
Knee,
Lower leg,
Ankle,
Toes,
Your left foot.
Feel your breath at the tip of your nostrils,
And just notice the sensation.
Now follow your breath into your body.
Feel your whole body as if it were hollow,
Like a cave.
Feel the inner space of your body.
Step into your inner space.
Walk along a bridge across the inner space of your body that brings you to your inner sanctuary.
Enter your inner sanctuary.
See the colors of this place.
Hear the sounds.
Smell the aroma.
Feel the energy of this place.
Notice the sensation of stillness within your inner sanctuary.
This is a place of complete safety and complete peace.
Remember that you can always come to this place.
Sit peacefully in this place.
Take your seat in your inner sanctuary,
And with your mind's eye,
See a steady flame burning atop a cream-colored candle.
Warm golden rays of light surround the steady flame,
Illuminating the top of the candle and giving a soft light to your inner sanctuary.
You become even more focused on the shape of the steady flame,
Which sits still and yet is filled with dynamic energy.
Focus completely on the glowing flame atop the candle.
Feel the dynamic energy of the candle's light fill your inner sanctuary.
As you inhale,
Feel a soft surge of pure dynamic energy.
And as you exhale,
Feel radiant energy expand within you.
