This is a short everyday meditation that will help you to ground and centre your energy. This creates balance, focus and protects your energy. It can be done first thing in the morning or anytime you feel anxious or off balance.

This is a quick grounding meditation to help you to ground,

Balance and protect your own energy.

It's really important for everyday life.

So to do this meditation it's best if you do it standing up as this will enable you to really feel the energy as it travels down into Mother Earth.

So just give yourself a few moments standing up with your feet slightly apart,

Hands down,

Relaxing your shoulders,

Closing your eyes and just starting to take a few long deep breaths to settle yourself.

With each in breath just imagine that you're breathing in golden white light.

Breathe in from your crown,

Breathe it deep into your belly and as you're breathing out imagine that you're breathing down through your legs and out through your feet.

So filling up on each in breath you may want to hold it for a second or two and as you breathe out breathing down through your legs,

Out through your feet,

Breathing out any tension,

Any pressures,

Any anxiety,

Anything that no longer serves you.

So just getting yourself into this nice gentle even pattern of breathing.

Just bring your awareness to your feet.

I want you to imagine that you have suction pads on the base of your feet and imagine that they're stuck to Mother Earth and with each out breath just imagine that you're growing roots from the soles of your feet and as you breathe out these roots are traveling deeper and deeper into Mother Earth.

Just allow yourself to sink down with these roots,

Following them down as deep as you can take them and at the center of the earth just visualizing a black hook,

An anchor or even the heart center of Mother Earth.

Just something for your roots to wrap around,

To connect with,

To secure themselves into the earth.

And as they secure themselves just imagine yourself connected to Mother Earth,

Connected to your body,

Feeling those roots really securing you to the earth,

Helping you to feel grounded,

Stable,

Secure.

And as you breathe in and you breathe out you'll notice your shoulders dropping,

Your legs are feeling heavier,

Your feet are really connected to the earth and just get into feeling this connection of your feet on the earth,

Your feet on the floor,

Your roots securing you and imagine that Mother Earth is sending up her nourishing energy,

Holding your feet down securely,

Helping you to feel supported.

Now I want you to ask Mother Earth to send up a beautiful bubble of healing energy,

Imagine it as a wave that comes up through your roots and it comes up through your entire body all the way up through your spine and as it comes out of your crown just imagine it cascading down,

Surrounding you,

Forming a beautiful bubble of protective energy around you.

So this bubble will allow your energy out but it won't allow any negative energy in,

It keeps you safe and protected and you can use that visualisation whenever you feel you need to.

So just coming back into your breath,

Coming back into your heart centre,

Coming back into this awareness of your feet on the earth,

Feeling yourself come back into your body and when you're ready you can open your eyes slowly.

You can open your eyes slowly.

You can open your eyes slowly.
