Welcome friends,
My name is Grace.
Today's practice is for those growing moments where we could use a little more grace and patience.
Let's begin today's meditation practice.
Gently close your eyes,
Take a deep breath in,
Relax your shoulders,
And slowly release.
Today I want to remind you of something important.
You don't have to be finished to be valuable.
You are not a finished product.
You are a work in progress.
And that is not only okay,
It's beautiful.
Second Corinthians tells us,
Therefore,
If anyone is in Christ,
The new creation has come,
The old has gone,
The new is here.
You are being made new every single day.
Not because you're broken beyond repair,
But because growth is a part of the journey.
Let's speak truth over that process.
I am not where I was,
And I am not yet where I will be,
And both are okay.
I give myself permission to grow at my own pace.
I release shame over not being perfect.
I celebrate small steps forward.
God is not frustrated with my process.
He is patient and kind.
I am becoming who I was created to be,
One day at a time.
Philippians 1.
6 says,
He who begin a good work in you will carry it on to its completion.
That means you are not responsible for finishing yourself.
God is faithful to complete what He started.
You don't have to rush.
You don't have to perform.
You don't have to prove anything.
You can simply show up and trust the process.
Think about one area where you have been hard on yourself for not being further along.
Now,
Picture God looking at you with compassion,
Not disappointment.
He sees your effort.
He sees your heart.
He sees your desire to grow.
And He says,
Well done.
Keep going.
I am with you.
I am growing.
I am learning.
I am becoming.
I trust the pace of my own transformation.
I am exactly where I need to be today.
There's no rush.
There is only grace.
Breathe in that grace and exhale any pressure to be perfect.
When you're ready,
Gently open your eyes and give yourself permission to simply be in progress today.
