This bedtime story follows Claire as she experiences both the beauty and letting go that the season of Autumn symbolizes, while also coming to terms with the reality of a hurricane that transforms her town. She taps into the practice of mindfulness, reminiscing and embodiment, to reconnect with inner wisdom. This reading ends with a poem called "The Autumn Tree" that highlights the power of resilience as we age and the importance of deepening our spiritual roots. As with all of these bedtime stories, the intention is to soothe you into a deep and restful sleep.

Beautiful as always. I like how you used a scary real world event and her thoughts and feelings while dealing with it. Your voice and stories are so comforting. I hope you never stop using your gift ๐ŸŽ. โค๏ธโ˜ฏ๏ธ๐Ÿฆ‹๐Ÿ™โ˜ฎ๏ธ

Thank you, Glenda๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™๐ŸปSomehow, I had missed this Claire story when it came out. It took me down memory lane myselfโ€ฆ Resilience knows no bounds when we return to our center time and again, no matter the ourside circumstances. Love that quote โ€œโ€ฆthey didnโ€™t know we were seedsโ€, and the poem at the end. So glad I gave myself the luxury of staying in bed longer this morning to allow me to listen to the full story and just contemplateโ€ฆ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐ŸŒŸ๐Ÿฆ‹๐ŸŒŸ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

Thanks for another beautiful story beautifully told! Is it a coincidence to you that I knew a young man who had "a red Volvo named Ruby?" Did you, perhaps, know that same person in Maryland many flown years ago?

A wonderful meditation, thanks for taking me back to that wonderful 4th of July in Boston in 1976. We ate homemade brownies waiting for the fireworks to begin. Catching a glimpse of Arthur Fiedler and then the music and the smoke and then real canons being fired during the 1812. A magical day and a wonderful memory! ๐Ÿ™โ„๏ธโ˜ฎ
