Today I will continue my discussion with the Archangel Raphael and share how he helped heal addictions.
My whole life has been fantastic.
As to help with my health and healthy living and lifestyle.
I am guilty of being a sugar addict.
I should probably not put that out there.
Cancel,
Delete.
But I enjoy sugar.
I've grown up with it.
It's been a love my whole life.
And I knew that it wasn't good for me.
It wasn't keeping me clear.
It wasn't keeping me healthy.
And so one year I was in Sedona,
Arizona.
I travel every year with a woman's group.
And being healthy,
Having a healthy lifestyle,
Eating healthy,
Having a healthy body was something that was really important to me.
So I remember going up on one of the mountains and calling on the Archangel Raphael and asking him for assistance to help me eat better,
Help me exercise,
And live a much healthier lifestyle than the one that I was living.
And I knew that it was up to me and my free will to make better choices.
So I was really calling on Archangel Raphael to assist me to make it easier.
So maybe he would lessen the cravings.
He would lessen the,
You know,
The,
I don't know,
Them being,
You know,
Sugar and goodies being around.
And I remember coming down from the mountain,
And I felt better.
And that night was the group dinner.
And the dessert that night was this delicious chocolate mousse fudgy cake with strawberries all over it.
And I was like,
Oh my god,
If this is not a test,
Well,
I have to say,
I ate it because it was so,
It looked so good.
And I kind of laughed.
I'm like,
OK,
Raphael,
I get it.
I don't have to be so strict where I don't eat anything.
I can just make decisions.
So I have to say,
I ate it slower.
And I enjoyed every single bite.
But I have to say,
I didn't get through the whole piece.
I probably ate about half of it because it was really rich.
And I laughed.
I'm like,
OK,
This is my lesson that I can have balance with it.
I don't have to take it away as some type of punishment that I can enjoy it.
I just don't have to eat it in mass amounts.
So I came back.
And I have to say,
I really wasn't that much better.
And I would call and check with Archangel Raphael.
But I knew it was my free will.
I had asked,
But I wasn't completely ready until a few months later I went to an event.
I was preparing to go for an event.
It was the Unleash the Power Within event with Tony Robbins.
And it was in New Jersey.
And I knew it was going to be long days,
Long hours.
And they really encouraged just healthy eating to keep your energy up.
So the week before I went,
I cleansed.
And I detoxed from caffeine,
Alcohol,
Sugar,
Flour,
Wheats.
I really ate a healthy,
Clean diet.
So going into that event,
I was clear.
And the last day of that event was Nutrition Day.
And there was meditations.
There was information.
There were nutritional coaches.
And there were all these talks about nutrition.
So when I came back,
They challenged you.
I think it was like a 10-day cleanse or something,
Which wasn't really a huge deal for me because I had already been on a cleanse.
And I felt like it was my way to reset my clock,
To reset my body.
And I came back.
And I had asked my mom to grab me some vegetables and some healthy snacks.
So when I came back,
I was already set up and ready to go.
So I have to say,
That was November of 2013.
And I never went back to caffeine.
I still have alcohol,
But not anything like I did.
It's very far and few in between.
But I have to say,
The sugar has creeped back in a little bit.
But it wasn't as bad as it was then.
So I laughed because I knew Raphael was preparing me.
But I wasn't completely ready.
And when I was ready,
I felt like all that energy really was there to encourage me and empower me and uplift me to get me through that.
And I felt really good.
And I made some major life decisions after I came back from that,
That I felt like was coming from a good,
Clear place.
I felt grounded.
I felt solid.
So I have no doubt that through divine intervention,
It was a miracle that I ended up at that event the way everything worked out.
And I just believe it was like the universe setting me up.
So sometimes I think that when I ask for something,
It needs to be instantaneous.
And if it's not instantaneous,
I'm a failure.
And so this is kind of like the extremes that I work with.
So over the years of working with the archangels that I see that when I put things out there,
I may not be ready physically to start taking action.
My mind may be ready.
My soul may be ready.
But my body is still craving things or wanting or needing.
So when you invite the archangel Raphael,
Know that it's a process.
And it takes time.
Remember,
Any type of healing is a process.
One step leads to another,
Which leads to another,
Which leads to another.
So I might not have given up sugar per se.
But I gave up a lot of other unhealthy things that were easier for me to release and let go that was really helping my body.
And so those are the things that I've used archangel Raphael for.
And he's been,
Again,
Fantastic.
I work with people who are going through cancer treatments and on medications and things like that.
So another thing that I always suggest is calling on the archangel Raphael and imagining his emerald green light filling your treatment medications.
Imagine whether it's pill form or liquid form,
Maybe you're going for chemotherapy or treatments.
Imagine that that bag is filled with archangel Raphael's emerald green light.
And imagine that emerald green energy going into your body to heal your body.
You can transform that energy.
And your cells will be so much happier sending that positive energy.
So there's so many scientific,
Researching papers and studies out there about how positive energy helps to shift.
So one of the things is Imouto's water experiment.
And he labeled three containers of water,
Let's say,
With different words.
So maybe one word said hate,
And then one word said love.
And then another one was it was completely ignored.
It had no label on it.
And it was something that was completely ignored.
And so what he did is,
From what I understand,
He had people go in.
And the one that said hate,
He had people sending negative energy to it,
Saying,
I hate you.
You're ugly.
All these ugly things.
And then he had people go to the love flask or container and just send positive energy,
Loving thoughts,
Gentleness,
Tenderness,
Sweetness,
Positive energy to this container of water.
And then nobody gave any energy to that third one.
And so when he tested the water molecules under the scope,
The one that had the hate on it and was sent negative energy was really ugly and brown and really toxic looking.
The one that had love was beautiful.
And again,
You can Google the experiment.
And you can actually see the molecules and the crystals that looked like beautiful snowflakes.
And then the one that was ignored still had dark and ugly energy to it.
So it's really,
Over time,
Been scientifically proven that positive energy really shifts the cells in your body.
So the cells respond to the energy that's around you.
So you know that if you're in a negative environment.
So if you're working in a work environment where there's a lot of fear and negativity,
It's only a matter of time before you're going to start feeling tired,
Depleted,
And drained.
And if you're working in an environment that's super positive and healthy and strong and uplifting and loving,
Then guess what?
You're going to accomplish your goals.
And you're going to feel good.
And you're going to inspire others.
Oprah talks about it.
Deepak talks about it.
Eckhart Tolle talks about it.
This is something that's so important for your body.
So imagining this emerald green light filling the cells in your body can really shift the energy and the dynamic about how you feel.
And again,
It's something that you have to do.
So you have to call on the Archangel Raphael.
You have to imagine this energy.
But you can incorporate it into something that you're already doing.
So a lot of times,
People like to imagine when they're in the shower that that negative energy or anything that they've attracted gets flushed down the drain.
And the Archangel Raphael's emerald green light fills them to overflowing.
So it's something that they do on a regular basis or when they're brushing their teeth.
They imagine their body filled with that emerald green light.
So this is something that you can do.
When I was working in the corporate field,
I would imagine I would call on the Archangel Michael and ask him to surround and protect me and cut any cords and attachments that I have on my way to work when I was in the car.
And then after I asked Michael to clear my body and vacuum my body of any negativity,
I would ask Archangel Raphael to fill my body to overflowing.
I would imagine that it would fill every cell,
Every hole,
Every crack of my energy field like toothpaste.
And it would be thick and solid.
And I have to say,
I would forget definitely some days because I was in my head and worried about what was going to happen for the day.
And I would have a lot of challenges those days.
And then the days that I remembered surrounding and protect myself with Michael and filling myself up with Raphael's emerald green light,
I had much better days and things went a lot smoother.
Now you'd think that I would remember every day,
But it's natural to forget.
It's like you're in it.
You're out of it.
You remember.
You don't remember.
So it's always important to keep notes around.
So I would have positive notes around that would say,
Breathe or surround yourself.
And they were just reminders.
So we get in life and a lot of things happen where something's out of sight.
It's out of mind.
So a good way to help remind you to call on the angels or call on the Archangel Raphael is put little notes around.
And I would put the notes in emerald green and remind myself.
And what I would also do is I would move them around.
Like if it was something that was in my car,
I would just take a little sticky and move it around so that I'm conscious of it.
Because in your environment,
If you don't move things around,
What happens is you become conditioned to it and you forget about it and you don't really see it.
So if you're moving things around,
You'll be conscious of what's around.
I mean,
This is always great to move things around in your home,
To move things around on your desk at work.
It keeps the energy kind of fresh and new,
Kind of just wiping the dust off of things,
Cleaning them down.
It's just kind of a healthy feng shui.
But it keeps that positive energy all around you.
So we talked about Archangel Raphael and the angel of healing.
He helps with a healthy lifestyle.
He helps with finances.
And another thing that he helps with is addiction.
So I talked about sugar.
But we can also talk about alcohol and drugs.
So we talk about alcohol and drugs being a disease.
And we know that people can't heal themselves by themselves,
That they need a support system.
That's why we have so many good programs out there that provide a solid support for people so that they can get healthy,
So that they can get better.
And I have no doubt that Archangel Raphael works with Alcoholics Anonymous and anybody who's dealing with addiction and those programs and the retreat centers,
Really trying to help people get better.
So know that if you're struggling with addiction,
That the Archangel Raphael is there for you.
And again,
I can't say enough.
They abide by the law of free will.
So you have to ask.
And really,
The best way to ask is to say,
Archangel Raphael,
I'm struggling with this whatever it is.
And I need help.
I invite you in my life to lead me to the right people,
Places,
Things,
And ideas to assist me.
And really,
Just get out of the way after that and be open.
Now again,
You have free will.
So you can make the phone calls when they come up,
Or you can ask for support or help.
And you have the ability to show up at the meetings or not.
So he can't physically come down and hold your hand and take you to these programs or take you to these meetings or get you the support that you need to get yourself out of the house.
But what he can do,
He can encourage you,
And he can uplift you,
And he can empower you.
So again,
If asking is a tough thing,
Just imagine yourself surrounded by and filled up to overflowing with his emerald green light.
And that will be another way of inviting him in your life.
Now remember,
They can't take control over you.
They're there to support and assist you.
So this is something that you always have free will in.
And I've seen so many miracles happen where people who are struggling with addictions got to the right people.
Now you may have to try one or two different groups.
There are so many different support groups out there.
There's so many different things that one thing may not work for you.
There are some really spiritual ones.
There are some that are really mainstream and things that will get you from one step to another.
But it's just taking that first step and being open to receiving assistance.
A lot of times when we struggle with addiction,
We think we can do it on our own.
We think we're in control of it.
And when you come to that point when you're spiraling out of control,
Now I've struggled with many different kinds of addictions in my life.
I've struggled with alcohol,
And I've struggled with shopping,
And I've struggled with eating,
Hence the eating disorders and shopping addiction and the credit cards building up.
So I admit that.
And I admit that it was because I was emotionally unstable and I wasn't in a good place in my life.
And there was a lot of unhealthy things that were happening to me.
So it was kind of my way of control,
Even though I was out of control.
Now this is just my personal story with it,
Where there are many different kinds of addictions and reasons for it.
So one of the things that I had to face was looking at those credit card bills and saying,
Oh my gosh,
I cannot pay these bills.
And it's going nowhere and looking at a closet full of clothes that had tags on it that I knew I was never even going to wear.
And it was like that rock bottom that hit me,
The fear that came in.
I am trapped here,
And I've done this myself.
So I looked for support.
I looked at people who could help me rebuild my credit,
The people who could help me pay down those debts.
And whether people have gone through bankruptcy or settled debt or things like that,
It's a fresh start.
It's a way to reset.
But again,
You have to learn the lessons with it.
And I think that was the intricate part of what Archangel Raphael helped me with.
He was able to help me see what I was doing.
He was able to help me understand why I was doing these things and also send to me the people that could support me and help me in the process to get better.
And I have to say,
That process hasn't ended.
So I've had many different people come into my life.
I've taken financial freedom classes.
I've worked with a bookkeeper that's helping me get on track.
I've worked with the archangels to help me with money.
So this is kind of like a process that I keep learning on.
And I have to say,
It's a journey.
And Raphael knows and understands that these type of experiences and these challenges aren't easy,
Just like I was sitting on that mountain,
Praying to help me eat better and make better choices.
And then that night,
This beautiful,
Delicious cake was plopped in front of me.
And again,
It wasn't a test.
It wasn't a,
We're going to dangle this in front of you to tease you.
It was the lesson of,
OK,
I can have some of this,
But I also can listen to my body when it's enough.
And again,
I had only half of it.
And it was just a big realization.
So Raphael is intricate in so many ways.
And he supports us with any type of healing.
I remember I was in a relationship where there was a lot of relationship conflict.
There was a family dynamic that was unhealthy.
And I would get anxiety and stress about holidays and going over there because it was always tension and animosity.
And me being such a sensitive person,
It was just so tiring.
And so what I would do is I would send the Archangel Raphael ahead.
And I would imagine the whole entire house surrounded by Archangel Raphael's emerald green light.
And I would ask the Archangel Michael to surround him,
Protect me,
And keep me safe.
And so when I showed up,
It was by sending Raphael ahead,
It was so cool to see that the family was laughing.
We had a good time.
Baby pictures and albums came out throughout the day.
And it was such a shift in energy.
And again,
Not always did I send him forth.
And those were the times that I would forget.
And there would be a lot of tension and animosity.
So you can send Raphael ahead to any situation or anything that's causing you stress or you're worried about.
You can imagine him going to your office,
Surrounding your desk at work.
You can even bring in anything emerald green or even plants or things like that to remind you,
Any type of like faux emeralds.
And usually people who are attracted to emeralds or love that color emerald green,
Usually Archangel Raphael is working with them already.
So if you are one that loves emeralds or your favorite color is the color green,
Emerald green,
I have no doubt that you are a beautiful caregiver.
And you're there.
And you help people.
And you do anything for them.
But you've got to remember,
Too,
You've got to take care of yourself.
So Raphael is there working through you to help you help those people.
And he's also there to help you help yourself.
Self-care is a big thing right now.
And caregivers need that so that you're filled up and you're able to comfort,
Support,
Teach,
And inspire others out there.
So really,
The healing starts from within.
So I mentioned Archangel Raphael sends the Santa Claus energy.
But he also sends the jolly green giant.
So if you ever look at a can of corn or a pack of peas that has the jolly green giant,
That's another sign.
And I used to say all the time,
If a can of corn rolls out your feet or a pack of peas falls out of your fridge,
There's your sign from Archangel Raphael.
And it's so funny because I had a client tell me once.
She goes,
Gladys,
Do you realize that Santa Claus and the jolly green giant say the same thing?
So the jolly green giant says,
Ho,
Ho,
Ho,
Green giant.
And then Santa Claus says,
Ho,
Ho,
Ho.
So I kind of laughed because this is the signs that I got in my mind.
And she kind of put it together that it's kind of the same energy.
And so it's so funny.
I would tell people,
Like I mentioned,
About the pack of peas falling out or the can of corn.
And I actually had a client email me one day.
And I was telling her during a session about the Archangel Raphael.
And I told her that sign.
And she said that she was helping her mother-in-law clean out her pantry.
And she said she pushed the food back.
And then what happened was a can of corn,
A can of green giant corn,
Fell down and literally rolled at her feet.
And when she picked it up,
There was the jolly green giant on that can of corn.
So she laughed.
So that actually happens.
And it happened to a client.
So again,
Be aware of the ways that Raphael can come in.
Say you're at a doctor's appointment and you're worried about the appointment.
And the doctor comes out and he's wearing an emerald green shirt or he has green eyes or there's green in the room.
Know that Archangel Raphael is there with you.
As much as I would love them to come down and be this big beam of light and tell me everything I need to know,
Doesn't work that way.
So I like to see and share these tips and tools and signs so that it can help you to better understand the Archangel Raphael and to be able to receive his guidance and his messages knowing that he's around.

No laugh that time.

OK.
So in this portion of the podcast,
In this episode,
We talked about your sugar addiction.
And then that led into how Raphael helps deal with,
I want to say more serious addictions,
But food addiction.
All addictions are serious.
There's shopping addictions.
There's eating addictions.
There's alcohol and drug abuse,
All different kinds of addictions.
So in what way would you suggest someone beginning to look for help in this direction?
In this direction?
I think we all come to a point when we no longer can handle it on our own.
It's hard to tell anybody or give anybody any assistance or guidance before that happens.
Because again,
From my experience,
I always felt like I was in control.
And even when I was buying boxes of wine because the bottles were getting expensive,
Now I have to say I don't have an alcohol problem where I can't have alcohol.
But what it was was it would be like coffee in the morning and then the glasses of wine at night.
And then coffee in the morning,
The sugar throughout the day,
And the glasses of wine at night.
And so I had to break that cycle.
And again,
I was just going from one bottle to a couple bottles to a box of wine because it was cheaper.
And so I still,
At that point,
Felt like I was still in control.
I feel good.
I'm still doing my.
But what happened is my body started to get really run down and really drained.
And I started to gain a lot of weight.
And I was uncomfortable.
And so everybody has their breaking point.
And I could have people tell me till they were blue in their face.
But I couldn't be told.
And so I think it's like when you get to that point when it's like you're just tired of feeling the way you're feeling,
That's when it's like you give it up and you open up.
And you can call on God and the Archangel Raphael for their assistance to help show you the way to get better and show you the way to help.
Because obviously,
There's some emotional things.
There's some trauma.
There's some unhappy experiences that are happening that make us turn to these things.
Another thing that you talked about was sending Raphael ahead.
Yeah.
And that really reminded me of there's a lot of talk in sports about visualization,
Seeing yourself scoring the goal or the touchdown.
Oh,
Yeah.
Yep.
You know,
Imagine yourself,
Like focus and imagine yourself doing it before so that you know what it feels like and you know what to do.
And so that really reminded me of that.
And you talked a lot about positive energy.
Yeah.
And just the power of positive energy.
And is that directly related to Raphael,
The positive energy?
Or is that related to all of the angels?
Well,
All the angels.
And remember,
They're not really separate.
It's a collection of energy,
Right?
And so that positive energy connects with all of them,
Raphael specifically with healing and,
Again,
Being positive about ourselves.
Now,
I have to say,
I didn't love myself,
Which is why I was abusing myself,
Right?
Because of trauma and experiences that I've had in the past.
So opening my heart and my mind to the angels' love was a hard thing.
And it could be overwhelming.
Or I should say opening my heart to God's love.
I didn't feel worthy.
And so the archangels for me was a way to open up to that love in a way and a capacity that I could receive.
And so,
Again,
Raphael is the specific angel that works in those areas.
Now,
That's not to say that if you are a best friend and you love the archangel Gabriel,
That he can assist with you as well.
But Raphael seems to be the gentle one.
He brings joy in our lives,
Especially when we don't really know what direction to go into.
We're stuck in this space that we don't know how to get out of.
And really,
You have to get to the point where you give it up,
Where you're just so tired,
Where you're at your breaking point.
And again,
Usually when people are at that point,
That's when the energy floods in.
All right,
And I'm going to end this with a story that will make you smile and Dave Rolla's eyes.
As he shakes his head.
So as we said when we got here for recording today,
It was a beautiful,
Bright,
Sunny day.
And we're heading towards Providence,
And it's just gray.
And Dave's like,
What is this weather?
And we get out of the car,
And literally as we're walking up the stairs into your building,
We hear the rain behind us.
And it just a couple drops catch us as we come in.
And then before we even start,
It's downpouring out.
You can probably hear it a little bit in the episode.
And so I'm looking at my phone going,
This is going to be a crazy drive.
We have an hour drive back after.
And Dave said,
The radar is just a blip over Providence.
And I was like,
So there's just,
If you look at the map,
There's just a green dot over us right now?
Oh,
I love that.
That's so cool.
Well,
It sounds silly,
But that's exactly what I mean in those ways.
So basically,
And it just rained for the entire time you were talking about.
Raphael.
Raphael.
So there was a green dot on the radar.
And now looking outside,
It's completely beautiful and sunshiny.
And so this is what he does.
Raphael comes to your life when it's cloudy and dark.
That's so awesome.
It's so awesome that you picked up on that,
And you thought about that.
As like,
Hey.
I thought that it was funny.
I am laughing about it.
But I thought that you would really enjoy that.
I totally appreciate that.
