Communication & Vision with Archangel Gabriel: Part 1

In this episode, I will talk about Communication and Vision with the Archangel Gabriel. Episode aired June 23, 2017.

Hi friends, Welcome back to the Heavenly Hugs podcast. Today I will be sharing and talking about the Archangel Gabriel, The angel of communication and vision. The Archangel Gabriel has helped me tremendously in the work that I do. Archangel Gabriel is the angel of communication and he's also the visionary. And I see so often that so many of us, Myself included, Can struggle with communication and getting our point across and speaking up. And so Gabriel has many different aspects. And I've heard people communicate or connect with Gabriel in a masculine, From a masculine place and a feminine place. So first let me start there. So when I read Dorine Virtue's depiction of the Archangel Gabriel, She references Gabriel as feminine or female or she. And when I read, Let's say, Biblical stories or talking about Archangel Gabriel from the past and the visionary, They refer to him in the masculine energy. And it created a lot of confusion when I first started learning about the Archangels. And so I would say, Well, Is Gabriel masculine or is Gabriel feminine? And so I sat with it a while. And of course, There really is no boy or girl masculine, Feminine in the spirit world. There's like a vibration. So if I can explain this a little bit further, It's kind of for me a feeling. So for example, The Archangel Michael, He's like a warrior energy, He's a protector, He's a guardian of light. So for me, That vibration comes across as masculine. The Archangel Jophiel, Let's say, Who we haven't spoken about yet, But she's the angel of positive thoughts and the angel of beauty in that way. And when I think about that, I think of more of a feminine energy. So bringing that back to the Archangel Gabriel, Gabriel's energy can kind of shift. So when you're talking about Gabriel in a means of communication, You never really want to come from that masculine place with communication because it's almost like butting heads. And then what happens is people get defensive and they shut down and they stop listening and everybody wants to make their point. So I feel like in communication, The more gentler, Softer side of Gabriel comes in and Gabriel kind of opens up the ear chakras. So whoever you're communicating with can understand you and there's more of this feminine energy. Now, There's also biblical stories where the Archangel Gabriel came to Joseph, Letting him know that Mary was carrying the Son of God. And when I think about that whole story or experience, I think how profound that Gabriel had to be been so strong to be able to come forth to Joseph for him to be able to see and feel and get the message. So that for me is more of an intense masculine energy. Now in the grand scheme of things, Like I said, There really is no boy or girl masculine feminine. It's more vibrational, But I feel like Gabriel is one of the angels that really embodies both gentleness and strength, Which could be depicted as masculine feminine. So if you're used to connecting with the Archangel Gabriel in a masculine way, Go with that. If you're a follower of Doreen virtue and the information she's shared really resonates with you, Go with the feminine aspect of Gabriel. There really is no right or wrong. Now, One of the key things with the Archangel Gabriel is the communication. And I always teach people that anytime you want to communicate, Whether it's asking for a raise, Whether it's having a tough conversation with somebody, Whether it's journaling or writing, Invite the Archangel Gabriel into your life and ask Gabriel for his assistance to help you being able to speak your truth. Now, I struggle personally with a lot of like throat chakra stuff. I have a hard time speaking up for myself, Although I'm getting a lot better at it. And I find that Gabriel has always been intertwined in my energy. So I go from like extremes. So I'll go to the point where I won't want to communicate at all and I'll internalize and I'll need a whole week to kind of create space for myself to think about everything. And then I'll go to the point where I'm like, And this and this and this is happening and I just everything just spills out of me. So I've been really recently working with the Archangel Gabriel to kind of find balance with my communication and being able to understand how I'm feeling so that when I speak, It's effective in my personal life with my clients, With my friends. And I have to say, It's not always easy work. So working with Gabriel sometimes can seem uncomfortable. It can seem overwhelming, But trusting in this energy can really help empower you can really help you stand in your leadership role for yourself so that you can speak out. Now, The Archangel Gabriel, We talk about colors and signs with the Gabriel Archangel Gabriel's Gabriel's color is copper. And Gabriel typically when it's a communication sign sends pennies. Now, Of course, There's so many people who connect pennies with their loved ones that have passed. And if that's something that you use your loved ones for and connect with them with go with the pennies with your loved ones. But I find that when I'm struggling with communication or I've just said something that's incredibly empowering or liberating, I seem to find a penny and I just kind of smile and say, Thank you Gabriel for your assistance. Because I feel like Gabriel kind of comes into my life to support me even when I'm not always thinking about it. I mean, Sometimes with the angels, It's out of sight out of mind. And I feel like they're so incorporated in my life that they've got my back even though I don't always express, You know, Archangel Gabriel come into my life and help me and assist me. So if you happen to find pennies around and you're calling on the angel Gabriel, Pick up that penny and on a penny it says in God we trust. And I always have to remind myself that when I speak and I communicate, It comes from this heavenly divine place from God source creator and from my soul. And it kind of right raises me above my ego that wants to be right and wants to control and wants to make everybody understand and it kind of rises me up. So I'm speaking from the heart and you know, When you're speaking from the heart, There's just this beauty that people open up to and they want to hear because you're speaking your truth. So one of the key people, Well, Gabriel works with many people. So one of the key people that I see he works often with is people who work in customer service centers, People that have to communicate with in their line of work. So usually if you are, Let's say in a call center or you're working on the phones and you need to communicate with people, Let's face it, People have kind of just been difficult lately and just honorary and kind of icky. I mean, Not everybody, Of course, But I've noticed that people I know that are working at these call centers or they're working on the phone with people are quote unquote, The general public seem to be having a difficult time because people just want to dump and they want to be heard. So they're like throat shockers, Like screaming. And here you are on the other end trying to help come up with a solution, Solve a problem, Trying to hear what they need. And so one of the best ways you can invite Gabriel into your workspace is finding something copper. Some clients that I've had wear copper bracelets. Some clients take all the pennies that they find and they put them on their desk at work. And you can also ask Gabriel to be a filter. So even if you're not working, Let's say on the phones and you have to deal with difficult people or you have a hard time speaking up with somebody, Before you answer the phone, Ask Gabriel to be your filter. Ask Gabriel to maybe allow the calls to come through that you can best help that client with or ask Gabriel to be a filter so that you can speak up and set boundaries for yourself. If you're dealing with difficult and negative people in your life, You'll be surprised at how amazing his energy just diffuses energy. And really the best form of communication is speaking your truth. Now I struggled so long because I had so many people in my life that put their own impressions on me, For example. So I didn't even really know what my truth was. I'm defining myself as this, What this person says I was or this person says I wear or what this person has treated me like or how this person has had experiences with me. So I've done a lot of inner work with Gabriel to really figure out what my truth is and who I am. And from there, I'm able to communicate from that place where I'm saying, Wait a minute, This doesn't feel right. Now I have to say this is a work in progress. It does take time and I am just scratching the surface. And for those of you who are listening, I have these podcasts and I share this information and you may be thinking, Gladys, What are you talking about? You don't struggle with communication. Well, There's a difference. When I'm doing my work, It's a channeled energy. I have this force behind me and I trust wholeheartedly in the divine energy that works through me. In my personal life, Sometimes I forget that. Sometimes I turn into that scared child in the world trying to figure things out and I've got big problems that come up and I seem to be overwhelmed. So it's so easy to dip in and out of working with the angelic and the divine and being a human in the world. And it's important to kind of decipher the difference. I mean, Even though I work with spirit, Even though I have this angelic energy with me and I channel some really powerful information, I don't forget that I'm also human and I'm here to have human experiences and really understand the human emotions. And it's good, Bad, Indifferent, Ugly, Challenging. And what I've opened myself up lately to is support. You know, I talk to somebody about what's going on. I'm more communicative when I have a challenge or a struggle with something or I've gotten better about giving myself timeouts and taking space. And the people in my life honor and respect that, Which I'm so grateful for. But I have to say, I had to learn how to speak up and set those boundaries for myself. So we talk about the archangel Gabriel in communication in your work, But we can also connect with the archangel Gabriel in our personal life as well. So if you ever feel like when you go to talk, You feel like maybe there's like a noose around your neck or you feel like you just can't get the words out, Take a step back, You know, Give yourself a boundary, Push back a little bit and invite the archangel Gabriel into your life and ask him to kind of speak through you or help you be able to articulate what's going on inside of you. Because truthfully, When you come from a truthful, Loving place, People seem to listen more. And I have found that when I say, Wait a minute, This is how I'm feeling or this is what I'm going through, People can actually, You know, Hear and understand and relate to what's happening with you. And if they can't, Step away because they might not be the right person for you to do this work with. And you may have to work more with Gabriel with other people before you can kind of come up into stronger, More intense opinionated energies. But practice that. And so we also talk about the archangel Gabriel with, So we talk about, We talk about Gabriel working with customer service, People work in call centers. Gabriel also works with writers. So if you are one that you know has a book inside of you and you just can't find a way to sit down and start it, Or you sit down and it seems so overwhelming, Invite the archangel Gabriel into your life and he can help you with the words or he can help you with the support so that you can start taking the baby steps to be able to write. I find writing incredibly therapeutic, But I was also somebody who had a teacher right out of high school in college. I had to take a writing course, A creative writing course that was part of my curriculum. Now I graduated high school fairly top of my class. I mean, I was a little above average. I wasn't top 10, But I did very well in school and I was with the smart kids, I guess if you can call it. And here I am going to college for the first time and I wrote this paper that I was proud of and I had this teacher tell me that it was awful that I couldn't formulate sentences and I had to rewrite the paper and I took it as like, I remember my stomach just getting sick and I could literally feel what now I can articulate with this person taking my power. And I used to love to write. It was an outlet for me and I have to say being unaware of what was happening in this person taking my power, It totally shut down my ability to want to write and want to express myself in that way. And my first thought was, Oh my gosh, Why didn't anybody tell me this? What's wrong with me? And it was like almost like a shame thing and I wanted to hide it. So I just stopped writing. Fast forward, Gosh, 10, 10, 15 years, I'm in this practice now and I've got to sit down and write newsletters. I have to work with writing on social media and it creates this anxiety within me because of the judgment. Well, This teacher who knows a lot better than I do, You know, Critiquing my writing. So I feel like when I write sometimes and I sit down, I go back to that 18 year old girl who, You know, Was kind of had her power taken. So sometimes we have to be aware of where this stuff comes from, You know, And Gabriel can help because he's also the angel of vision. He can help you get a vision of where some of this stuff comes from. Why do we feel like we can't communicate? What are our blocks? And I feel like he's kind of been an excellent therapist for me in a way because he's brought people, Places, Things, And ideas into my life to help me communicate better. Now, When I send a newsletter out, I have had people respond and saying that's exactly what I need. Thank you so much. I appreciate it. It was very well written. I look forward to, You know, Your posts, But I have to say on the other end, I still have that block. Like it's not good enough. It's not good enough. It's not good enough. So I have to now learn to switch and really take in and appreciate and sit with the kudos or congratulations or the positive energy people give back to me and take that in as opposed to that one college professor many years ago who totally ripped apart what I thought was my joy. And so sometimes these things come up as a human and we have these experiences and we kind of go back and forth. But what happens is you have these incredible talents inside of you. You have these amazing inventions, Books, Things to produce and put out into the world. And we don't realize that the people from our past could have said something to us or we could have had experiences that totally block those. So when you're living consciously and you're kind of mindful of how you're feeling, You can go back to those places and kind of heal it. So, You know, I still get a little bit of anxiety with writing, But I have to say I put some really good time and effort into it. You know, I have some really great creative projects coming up and I make sure that I'm working with the Archangel Gabriel. It was interesting. So I have a project that I'm working on right now that I've had to come up with some affirmations. And I remember saying to my boyfriend, It's so overwhelming. I know I need to do this project, But it's so overwhelming the idea that I have to come up with all this stuff. So he was like, Well, Just create space and just take your time with it. So I'm like, Oh yeah, That's right. Baby steps, Baby steps. So I came to my office and I sat a couple hours and I just sat down and I was like, What am I going to do? How am I going to come up with this? So I invited in the Archangel Gabriel to assist me. And then I got the idea that I can use thesauruses and dictionaries for inspiration. And I just went online and I just wrote down a bunch of words. I found a bunch of verbs that I liked that resonated with me. I wrote them all down. I found a bunch of adjectives that I connected with. I wrote those all down. I found a bunch of nouns that I worked with. And then what I started to do is I started to piece together these words and I had so much fun with it. And I'm thinking, God, What am I thinking that I have to come up with this stuff out of thin air? We have all these tools and all these things around us. And I think one of the biggest things is I hear all the time people want to write, They have a story within them, They want to write a book, But yet they never get to that place of completion. And so you might find that it's overwhelming to start like, Where am I going to come up with this stuff? So baby steps, Minor adjustments make huge changes in the long run. So sometimes it's a matter of just sitting down, Creating space and calling on the Archangel Gabriel for assistance. And like I said, I didn't come up, For example, With words or these affirmations out of thin air. I actually use tools to help me. So nothing says that Gabriel is going to channel these words and say, Gladys, You need to say this for this word or Gladys, This is the affirmation. And sometimes I get confused. I have to come up with these big things when I'm like, Wow, I have all these tools all around me. And I have to admit, The internet is my absolute best friend. It gives me a lot of inspiration. And so if you're struggling with a project or something that you know is inside of you, But it seems overwhelming, Just sit down and ask Archangel Gabriel to break it down. Ask him other ways that you can work with creating. He might send a writing class along your way. He might send somebody who's written 10 books that can give you some tips and tools along the way. So it doesn't have to be you figuring it out on your own. He can also open up space to bring people, Places, Things, And ideas into your life to assist you. So Gabriel, Masculine and feminine? Why do you think that is? So it's all vibrational. And if you've ever felt somebody walk in a room and they were incredibly masculine, So think about, I don't know, A masculine energy, Like, I don't know. I'm going to help you out because I think that you would love this example. Tony Robbins. Okay. That incredibly masculine, Right? He walks into a room and you can feel that energy. There's like this presence. Then on the flip end, You get this very feminine, Soft energy. Well, Archangels come in with a vibrational energy too. So it's very clear and obvious that Tony Robbins is a man. He breathes that masculine energy. A divine feminine energy, Let's say, For example, Kim Kardashian of, Let's talk about feminine. So again, Her body, Her makeup, Her presentation, The way she is, Very feminine energy, Right? So when an archangel comes in, I'm not seeing them, Let's say. I'm feeling a vibrational energy, Whether it's a strong energy or a gentler energy. And I have felt Archangel Gabriel come in in both, Like when he needs to make a point and you need to stand up for yourself and you need to speak, Set boundaries, Boom, There's that masculine energy. But when you really have to communicate, Like I said, Getting a point across or creating something like a book or something where you're sharing information and you want it to really touch people, That softer, Gentler energy comes in. Awesome. That makes sense. Well, Let's say compare him to the Archangel Michael. The Archangel Michael is the guardian of the light. He's the protector. So his role is always coming in in that strong, Protective energy, Right? It's very gentle. Don't get me wrong. So masculine doesn't mean like bully or strong, But it's more of a force to it. Okay. Communication barriers was a big thing that you talked about. And I got the sense from what you were saying that the majority of communication barriers come from either being overwhelmed by something or compartmentalizing your communication skills. For example, You were saying that you feel very comfortable communicating through your work, But in your personal life, Maybe not so much. What do you think is a good way to help people decompart mentalize their communication skills? Definitely I think support. So part of my troubles was not even being aware of my struggle with communication skills. It was easier for me to kind of shut down and not say anything at all, But it comes to a point where you're frustrated by it. And I realized like I was getting nowhere. So for me, I reached out for support and I have somebody who can pull those pieces out and doesn't let me avoid them either. So for me, It's incredibly liberating to have somebody in my life who has good communication skills is a professional listener and somebody who can help me pick out these different aspects. And I have to say being comfortable in my work in communicating teaches me and shows me how powerful it feels to really be in your voice. So when I have to do it personally, I recognize that same energy, Right? But with anything, We have our strengths and our weaknesses, Right? It's where we're comfortable. And the problem is a lot of times we go with our strengths and we really avoid our weaknesses, Which eventually gets bigger and bigger and bigger and bigger. It can start out as a little tiny lion cub, Which is cute and fuzzy and great. And then it gets bigger and bigger and bigger. And you've got that fierce lion energy that just seems overwhelming and you want to avoid, Right? So Gabriel can help bring those people into your life that can help you sort through those different pieces and being able to strengthen your communication skills in all different areas of your life. Now you talked a lot about creative writing and why, So I'd like to two parts. One, Why was writing? Why do you think writing is so important? And two, You mentioned that you thought that everybody has something creative that they need to, They're bringing something unique to the table to put out into the world and that just for a lot of people it's blocked. So do you think that the writing helped not like to unblock that, To get that unstuck? Because I think that's an amazing observation and totally true. But why was writing so important and do you think that writing helped you with that aspect of that? So writing is really been proven. There's a lot of therapists and a lot of techniques that talk about journaling and writing down your thoughts and your ideas, Writing down how you're feeling. I've been watching Laverne and Shirley lately on Hulu and I absolutely love it. And Shirley would sit down and she'd write in her diary and it would say, Dear diary and she blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah. And I'm like, Wow, So she is documenting how she's feeling in the moment. And then what happens is she can always go back and look upon that and see how far she's grown from it. What I realized, Like I wasn't really expressing or writing down journaling, Documenting anything. And I always felt like my nose was just above the water line, Even though I was growing and moving by leaps and bounds. So sometimes we can have a block or, Oh, I don't feel like writing or, Oh, I don't feel like putting things down. But the beautiful thing is technology is amazing. We have like computers that we can write. We have voice things that we can talk into now. So writing doesn't necessarily have to be sitting down and writing. It can actually be audio. It could be expressive. It could be files on a computer. But what it does is it allows you to get what's going on inside out. So I think that's the importance of it. Which is that creative energy that you were talking about. Absolutely. And now you're sorting out all that icky stuff inside and it makes room inside of you for the creative ideas to flow. The inventions, The articles, The books, The energy just to get yourself out to be present in the world. Problem solving and helping people working together as a community. Those things need room.
