Welcome to your grounding meditation.
We're going to begin by taking a deep full breath in and a long slow exhale allowing your eyes to soften and gently close.
Another nice big breath in and a long slow exhale so that you can begin to feel the body release.
One more deep long inhale and on the exhale allowing yourself to fully arrive into this body,
Into this moment,
And into this breath.
Now letting go of any control of the breath and simply allowing yourself to be here.
Letting go of all the effort it's taken to bring you here now.
Letting go of all the thoughts,
Pressures of what's yet to come,
And just grounding yourself in the gift of this moment.
As you are ready,
Taking a moment inward and notice asking yourself,
How am I now?
How am I holding my day so far in my body?
Noticing any areas of tension or tightness in your body.
Notice them with curiosity,
Without judgment,
And begin to relax starting with your feet and your legs.
Softening the stomach muscles,
Relaxing the arms and the hands,
Lowering the shoulders and opening the chest,
Softening any tension in your jaw,
And relaxing and softening the forehead and the eyes.
As you take another long inhale in and on the exhale setting your intention for what you would like to receive and give in your day today.
Bringing your attention back to the present moment,
Back to your body,
And back to your breath.
Slowly open your eyes and notice the area around you.
Taking another inhale in,
As you execute your intention for the day and release.
Enjoying your day as you are now grounded in your breath and your body.
