This guided visualization is a great addition to any meditation practice. The Blossoming Rose will help you feel more grounded, peaceful and calm. It will help ease your worries and ground you into a positive place. This meditation is a great way to set the tone for a positive day full of love, happiness, and joy. It is also a great meditation to use when in need of a break to releive stresses and worries of the day to find yourself grounded and calm.

Welcome to the blossoming rose meditation.
My name is Garrett Biss and I'll be guiding you through this guided visualization.
You can use this visualization at any time as part of your meditation practice.
The blossoming rose meditation will help you feel more grounded and more peaceful and more calm.
It will help ease your worries and ground you into a positive place.
As we begin let yourself get into a comfortable position.
Gently close your eyes and relax.
As you let go of any tension you might feel,
Begin breathing deeply,
Taking in long slow breaths.
Feeling more and more relaxed with each breath that you take.
Just letting go and unwinding with each successive breath.
And imagine the next breath you take going all the way down to your feet.
Bring a relaxation of your own breath.
As you exhale imagine letting go of any tiredness or tension or negativity that might be there.
Breathing in gentle white light,
Let go of any tiredness or tension.
As you exhale imagine letting go of any tiredness or tension or negativity that might be there.
Breathing in gentle white light and exhaling any tension or tiredness.
Just becoming more and more relaxed with each breath.
And as you continue to breathe in a slow and easy manner,
Just focus your awareness on your feet and let go of any tension that you might be experiencing.
Feeling your feet becoming more and more relaxed.
And now place your awareness on your calves from your ankles up to your knees.
Just let go of any tension that you might be experiencing in your calves.
Feeling them become more and more relaxed with each breath.
Feeling them become more and more relaxed with each breath you take.
And then become aware of your hips and your buttocks.
Feeling them become more and more relaxed.
Now place your awareness in your lower back.
Feeling your lower back becoming more and more relaxed with each breath.
Now place your awareness on your stomach.
Perhaps feeling the rise and the fall of your stomach muscles.
With each breath that you take in.
Then become aware of your shoulders and your upper back.
Just feel your shoulders letting go.
Becoming more and more relaxed.
Then become aware of your chest.
Feeling the rise and the fall of your chest with each breath that you take.
Feeling your breathing becoming more and more relaxed.
Then place your awareness in your hands and in your forearms.
Feeling them become more and more relaxed.
And now place your awareness in your upper arms.
Feeling your upper arms becoming relaxed and heavy.
And now place your awareness in your neck.
Feeling your neck become more and more relaxed with each breath that you take.
And then become aware of the muscles around your jaw and your mouth.
Just let them relax.
Perhaps letting your jaw drop gently open.
And now the muscles around your eyes.
And your forehead.
And your temples.
And your scalp.
Every muscle in your body totally and completely relaxed.
Now imagine yourself in a beautiful field.
On a pleasant spring day and all around you.
As far as you can see are beautiful sights.
Colorful flowers.
Beautiful butterflies.
Colorful and exotic birds.
And some deer grazing in the distance.
And up above everything a beautiful blue sky.
And you can feel the warmth of the sun shining down upon your face and upon your shoulders and your arms.
And you can hear the sounds of the birds singing.
And the sounds of the gentle breeze swaying among the leaves of some nearby trees.
And off in the distance you see a beautiful rose bush.
Perhaps it's in a garden or it's alone in a field.
You just notice where it is taking all that surrounds it.
And you notice what other plants are around it.
And what kind of terrain the rose bush is growing in.
And then you allow yourself to walk closer to the rose bush.
And as you approach it you kneel down upon the ground.
And you reach out with your hands and you touch the ground.
And if there's some grass there you look carefully at the shape of the grass blades and the color.
You run your hands slowly and sensitively across the grass.
Just noticing how it feels.
And now you allow yourself to smell the grass.
Taking time to really enjoy its scent.
And now you look down at the earth.
You take some of it in your hands and you crumble it up.
Letting it run through your fingers.
And you notice how it feels.
And then perhaps you lie down on the ground.
And you stretch out comfortably on your back.
Looking up at the beautiful blue sky.
You can feel the ground beneath you supporting all of your weight.
You experience being grateful to the earth which now supports you.
And you can now smell the beautiful scents in the air.
You let yourself become aware of all the different smells that are present.
And you find yourself looking back up at the sky again.
Noticing the sky's color.
But beginning to absorb that color into you.
Perhaps there are a few clouds in the sky.
As you look at them notice their color,
Their shape and their texture.
Then you find yourself becoming aware of the sounds around you again.
The sounds of the breeze.
The sounds of the animal and the birds.
The sounds of your own breathing.
Of your own heartbeat.
And now you find yourself remembering the rose bush.
So you rise from the ground and once again you approach this beautiful rose bush.
And as you come closer to the rose bush you find yourself observing it very carefully.
You take your time to clearly see the entire rose bush.
And to appreciate its overall beauty and aliveness.
And you reach out to touch it.
As you bend forward at your waist you smell the scent of the roses.
And now you focus your attention on that one rosebud that's going to blossom.
It's still closed and you can just see the color of the delicate petals as they're emerging from the green encasement around the bud.
And as you look at the rosebud,
Be aware of it as a center of latent life.
A plan of fulfillment that is written within its nature.
And now you let yourself take a further step and imagine yourself actually becoming this rosebud.
So let your consciousness go inside the rosebud and become one with it.
And let yourself experience what it feels like to be this budding rose.
Feel the flow of life energy inside of you.
And feel the longing of this bud to expand and to fulfill its destiny as a rose.
And now let yourself be aware of this warmth of the sun shining down from above.
And let the touch of those sun's rays awaken the cells within you.
As that rosebud you feel yourself gradually beginning to unfold.
Slowly imagining that green enclosure around you starting to open.
And now the color of your petals within is more clearly visible.
One by one the petals slowly begin to unfold,
Expanding outwards,
Opening up to the sun.
And as this happens,
Allow yourself to experience the flow of life energy coming up from the roots of the plant,
Flowing through the stems and the leaves right into you.
And feel how this rosebush is firmly supported in the earth by its roots.
Roots which provide a base for the unfolding of the flower.
Experience the interaction between the nutrients from the soil and the light of the sun,
Providing energy for the plants to grow.
Feel yourself in touch with the flow of this universal life energy.
This energy which gives life to the rosebush and to all of the kingdoms of nature.
Feel yourself participating in this flow of energy as it moves through all the forms and manifestations of nature.
And realize the same life that is in you is in all things behind the separation of forms.
And through this life principle you can feel how you are a part of a much greater whole,
And delicately linked to the fabric of the universe.
And as this force flows through you,
Your petals continue to open until you,
As that rose,
Are in full bloom.
And you can now experience yourself as a fully open rose,
A radiant center of beauty and joy.
And experience the bliss and the perfection in your own true nature,
The wonderful and the glory of that fully open rose.
And now become aware of the scent of your perfume.
Feel that this sweet scent is your loving energy flowing out into the world.
And as you're filled from within with the warmth of the sun and the flow of life energy,
You radiate this as love out to the world,
Longing to share it with all creatures.
For you are a center of living life.
And now remain with this energy as long as you wish,
Feeling your identity with the open flower,
And beyond that with the one great love of which the flower is a part.
And now let your consciousness leave the rose and return to yourself looking at this beautifully fully open rose on this bush.
Still aware of the one life energy that flows through both of you and all living things.
And now allow yourself to just take a few moments to be aware of what the next steps you need or want to take.
As you work,
Blossom more fully into the full expression of your potential at this stage in your life.
To move further along in your unfoldment,
And you can see images,
Beautiful images of your unlimited potential beginning to unfold before your own inner eyes.
Images of your own greatness unfolding,
Your creativity and your potential slowly unfolding.
Just notice and observe these images.
And now when you're ready,
Taking as much time as you need,
Just honoring your own pace,
You may gradually bring your awareness back to the room,
Back to your body.
Feeling the rise and the fall of your chest and your stomach as you breathe.
Noticing any sounds you may hear in the room.
And when you're ready,
Just gradually opening your eyes,
Bring your awareness back to the room.
Bring with you a sense of love and joy for your own process of gradual and constant unfolding.
