Welcome.
We're going to do a relaxing meditation where we do our breath work,
Just a sedentary meditation.
So I invite you to sit down in a position,
Easy pose,
Cross-legged and half lotus,
Or if you're more comfortable,
Just lie down in shavasana position with palms of your hands facing up and you relax.
We're going to send our bodies,
But essential is to have a straight spine.
So if you are decided to take the easy pose or cross-legged,
Half lotus,
I invite you to put your fingers in a mudra,
Whichever mudra you're comfortable with,
Chin mudra or gand mudra,
That is with the tips,
Your palm and your index finger,
The tips closed and you can place your fingers facing up,
Arms open or down on your knees as we now settle into our meditation practice today.
So I invite you now to breathe with me,
One breath at a time,
Whilst we settle our body in slowly.
So on the next inhale,
On the next inhale,
Spray your mouth.
Inhale,
Hold the breath at the top for count of five.
Exhale.
Inhale the nourishing radiance of life and you exhale what none doesn't serve you.
Inhale and you exhale.
Now I invite you to remember what it's like to eat your favorite fruit,
Be it a mango,
An apple,
A banana and remember what that sensation feels like as you bite into that fruit.
Feel that juices as it nourishes in your mouth.
We're just now opening the sensations of the imagination because we're now going to utilize that power,
That gift to explore the body further.
Don't let go of that breath.
You inhale,
Exhale and on the next inhale,
Imagine your connection to Mother Earth.
Imagine a straight line that extends roots from the bottom of your body,
The bottom of your core.
As you sit in,
Those roots traverse down your legs and embed themselves deep,
Deep down into Mother Earth.
Feel that sensation as you connect to Mother Earth.
As you breathe in,
Your stomach expands,
Your chest,
Your throat,
Breathe out through your mouth,
Your throat descends,
Your heart rate descends and your stomach descends fully and as it descends fully to the pit,
You feel your roots connecting deeper and deeper to Mother Earth.
Feel that droning energy of Mother Earth.
Inhale,
Breath,
Stomach expands,
Your chest,
Your throat.
Hold at the top for five seconds,
More if you feel comfortable.
And when you're ready,
You exhale,
Chest,
Stomach,
Fully exhale.
As you feel that connection now,
Deep,
Deep,
Deep down into the center there.
Feel that connection now,
Mother Earth.
You've connected to her.
The same sensation you feel as you eat the fruits,
That sensation that nourishes you,
The sensation that brings energy into your body.
And on your next inhale,
Breathe in from Mother Earth as it fills your lower abdomen,
Your chest,
Your throat.
And you hold that sensation.
And you exhale,
Going back down to Mother Earth.
Inhale,
As that energy comes up to your foot center,
Feel that energy.
Now,
As you've nourished your body with that breath,
Feel the connection to the universe.
At the top of your head,
Imagine a flower blossoming,
A locust flower,
If you like,
Or a rose.
Imagine it's morning and that rose has begun to open.
All the petals of the locust leaf have begun to open.
And you sense your connection deep within.
Don't let go of your breath.
Holding that same energy,
Breathing in,
Up through the stomach to the heart center,
Through the throat,
Breathing out.
Feel that connection to Mother Earth.
Feel that connection to the universe up above.
Feel the universe nourishing you now.
The energy of the universe you've connected to.
Feel that energy coming down through you.
And feel,
As you breathe in,
Connecting Mother Earth through your breath,
Up to your foot center.
And as you hold,
The universe comes down and connects with you.
And you breathe out.
You've now connected yourself to Mother Earth and your alternate divine power.
Feel that connection.
Feel the oneness of,
To the above and below,
Mother Earth and your spiritual being,
Your wisdom,
Your sincerity,
Your knowing,
Your oneness.
Feel her as she connects to you.
Feel her as she goes through you.
Feel the connection of the universe,
Traversing through your body.
Feel it clearing,
Feel it nourishing.
Feel it cleansing you.
And on the next inhale,
Take your right hand,
Put it on your stomach.
As you feel the breath,
Fully expand it.
Chest,
Inlet,
Throat.
And say,
Thank you.
Thank you for that life force that exists within you.
As you exhale,
Let it go.
And on the next few breaths,
We're going to come back to our body.
Come back to the oneness of our breath that nourishes us,
Our life force,
That keeps us clear and free.
Inhale.
And settle down.
Bring the life force energy back to your fingers,
Back to your feet.
Feel the energy circulating.
Feel the nourishment going through your body.
And when you're ready,
In your own time,
Open your eyes.
And just breathe in.
And let's say these last words together.
Thank you.
I love you.
I love you for who you are.
I love you for who you will be,
The present,
Here and now.
Thank you for being me.
Thank you for exploring my adventure within me and around me.
Breathe out.
And know that your day will bring you gifts that you've never experienced.
Surprises that keep coming over and over again.
