Transcript

To begin our meditation,

I would like to invite you to sit comfortably.

Adjust your body and your posture so that you are sat in an upright position with your spine straight.

If it feels comfortable for you,

Let your eyes close.

Relax your shoulders.

Soften your jaw and let go of any tension in your body.

Focus on your breath.

Take a couple of deep full inhales in and exhale fully.

Releasing all of the stale air from your lungs.

Take another deep inhale in and out.

Feel the support beneath you.

Connect with the ground below and let it take your weight.

Become aware of any sounds around you and just let them be there.

Allow your mind to empty what it no longer needs to hold onto.

Let it go.

Let it flow out and away.

Draw yourself back from where you've been in your day.

Ground yourself in this moment,

In the here and now.

Begin to sense the space around you.

Breathe with the space and become aware of the rise and the fall of your breath.

It's coming and it's going,

The sensation,

The sound,

The temperature.

Breathe down to where the weight of your body rests,

Below the base of your spine,

All the way to your root,

Your chakra of belonging.

Breathe all the way down to this base.

Let it soften and gently expand on your breath.

Taking in nourishment and new positive energy.

Take a few full inhales here,

All the way to your root.

Allow your root to connect down,

Down to the ground on which you sit,

Deep into the earth.

Invite in the color red,

The color of the earth.

Bathe your root in the color red and envision the base of your spine being bathed in a beautiful red light,

Empowering and grounding you in the here and now.

Let your root take what it needs.

When you are ready,

Allow your awareness to move up to your belly,

Just below your belly button,

To your sacral chakra.

Sacral chakra of emotional intelligence,

Creativity,

Movement and pleasure.

Breathe into this space,

Into your sacral chakra.

Let it soften and expand on your breath.

Let it take what it needs,

Taking in nourishment and new positive energy.

Invite in the color orange,

The color of the setting sun.

Breathe your sacral chakra with warming orange,

Balancing,

Empowering and motivating.

Let your root take what it needs.

When you are ready,

Move your awareness up to the soft area below your breastbone,

To your solar plexus,

Your chakra of personal power,

Of self worth and confidence.

Breathe into your solar plexus.

Allow it to soften and expand on your breath.

Invite in the color yellow,

The color of sunshine.

Bathe your solar plexus with sunshine yellow,

Replenishing,

Restoring,

Nurturing.

Let your solar plexus take what it needs.

When you are ready,

Focus your awareness on the center of your chest,

To your heart chakra,

Your chakra of self development and unconditional love.

Gently breathe into your heart,

Letting it soften and expand on your breath.

Invite in green,

The color of spring or rose pink,

Whichever feels right for you.

Bathe your heart chakra with the color of green or pink,

With nourishment,

Renewal and healing.

Let your heart take what it needs.

When you are ready,

Focus your awareness on the center of your heart,

To your heart chakra,

Your chakra of self expression and personal will.

Allow your throat chakra to soften,

Expand and breathe.

Invite in the color blue,

The color of the sky.

Breathe into your throat chakra and bathe it in this beautiful sky blue,

Clearing,

Opening and softening the need for control.

Free your self expression and your creativity.

Let your throat chakra take what it needs.

When you are ready,

Bring your focus to your forehead,

Just between your eyebrows,

To your third eye chakra,

Your chakra of wisdom and intuition.

Allow it to soften,

Expand and breathe.

Invite in a rich indigo color,

The velvety color of the night sky.

With your third eye chakra with indigo,

Soothing,

Balancing,

Bringing clarity and understanding.

Let your third eye take what it needs and breathe here.

In your own time,

Bring your attention to the very top of your head,

To your crown chakra,

Your chakra of oneness.

Here.

Gently invite in a warm,

Pure golden light,

Softly bathing your crown,

Balancing,

Restoring,

Harmonizing.

Let your crown take what it needs.

Gently bring your attention to the very top of your head,

To your crown chakra,

Your crown chakra,

Your crown chakra,

Your crown chakra,

Your crown chakra.

When you are ready,

Come back to yourself.

Come back and focus on the ebb and the flow of your breath.

Come back to your center,

To your core.

In your own time,

Become aware of the air on the surface of your body,

On your skin.

Become aware of any sounds around you,

Near and in the distance.

Become aware of the support beneath your body.

Notice how you feel.

Hold yourself here with loving kindness and recognize the beautiful,

Unique being that you are.

When you are ready,

Gently open your eyes.
