Katie is a long-time meditator and Lifecoach. She profoundly cares about other people, their stories and their pain and trauma. She wants for all people to learn to give themselves radical acceptance and compassion. She feels passionately that mindfulness and meditation can help in this process. Firstly, by allowing for the disidentification with thoughts and fears. Secondly by learning to tolerate and even befriend uncomfortable sensations. And finally by strengthening the ability to be present so that when challenged by life there will be an increased ability to respond to situations rather than react. In her coaching practice she helps people to find their own truths by asking powerful questions, listening deeply, and creating a safe space in which they can look inward to discover their own wisdom, creativity and solutions leaving them feeling more calm, open, and connected to themselves and others.
