This meditation is intended to help you connect with your inner self,

And that's self with a capital S.

And my wish for you is that it leaves you feeling more calm,

Creative,

Confident,

And from this place you will have access to your own amazing inner wisdom.

So let's get started.

So first we're going to just ground in the present moment and get into your body just as much as feels safe and comfortable for you.

So get into a comfortable position,

Your favorite meditation position.

And first I want you to notice where your body touches the seat or the ground.

And notice the support you're receiving from the seat,

The chair,

The floor.

And notice your feet.

Feel where your feet contact the floor.

And notice the support they are receiving from the ground,

The earth.

And allow yourself to surrender into that support.

You can feel your body get heavier as it's releasing into the support of the ground,

The earth.

That's just given,

Nothing you need to do to receive that.

Just kind of enjoy that support,

That stability.

And then bring your attention to your whole body.

See if you feel the liveness.

How do you know you have a body?

Can you feel the energy in your hands,

The warmth?

What does it feel like to have hands?

What about your feet?

What does it feel like to have feet?

Can you feel the energy as it kind of pulsates throughout your whole body,

Your whole being as it's sitting here?

And you might notice that you're breathing.

You don't need to change anything about your breathing.

You can just notice that you are breathing.

There's nothing you need to do to breathe.

You can just relax and almost just watch it happen.

Nothing you need to change,

Alter.

You can just watch it.

If it feels comfortable for you,

You can feel it.

Just feel.

What is it like to feel breathing?

See if you can find some enjoyment in sitting,

Being supported,

And just breathing.

Now we're going to try to connect with the self within you with the capital S.

And we'll start with curiosity.

Can you be curious in this moment?

Can you be curious about whatever your awareness is drawn to?

Maybe you're curious about your breath.

What does it feel like to breathe?

Maybe you're curious about a sound.

What is it to hear?

Maybe you're curious about a sensation in your body.

What is it like to feel your body?

What does your body feel like?

Allow yourself to be curious about whatever your awareness is drawn to.

Not needing to change anything,

But just being interested.

And next,

We'll see if we can find some compassion.

Can you feel compassionate towards this body that's sitting here?

Can you wish this body well?

Can you wish this body yourself,

May I be happy?

May I be well?

May I be in touch with calm?

Can you get more in touch with that part of you that feels calm?

Can you find it in your body?

Can you contact that calm place within you?

Can you let it get bigger?

Let it be as big as it wants to be.

What does it feel like to be inside this calm?

Just like you're in a bubble of calm.

How does it feel to inhabit this place of calm?

Can you just be in it?

Surrender to it.

Just allow it to be.

Just marinate in it.

Soak it up.

Allow it to soak you up.

Just be one with it.

Enjoy it.

This is yourself with a capital S.

Just relax in this.
