Hello and welcome to this heart and womb connection.
My name is Jasmine and I'm really happy that you're here with me today.
This experience is really inclusive to everyone,
So we'll be connecting to not only the physical but the energetic spaces of the womb and the heart.
So please feel that whatever your physical circumstances,
You are welcome to be here and breathe with us today.
You can either find a comfortable place to sit or if you'd prefer,
You can lie down.
It might be helpful to bring one hand over the low belly and one hand over the upper chest,
Taking a full breath in.
And as we breathe out,
Either relaxing the eyes or allowing them to close.
Feel yourself settling into the space,
Making any adjustments,
Any movement,
Any realignment of clothing,
So that you can feel completely and fully comfortable,
Fully and completely welcome here in your space,
In your body.
And as we start to breathe slowly and gently,
Connecting to the breath,
We'll begin by acknowledging that sometimes we may not always receive feedback and sensations from the body,
Especially if we have experienced significant stress,
Either emotional or physical,
In certain areas of the body.
And sometimes it's because we haven't checked in in a while.
And so just like a friend we might not have spoken to in a while,
Sometimes the body takes time to open up and it takes time for messages and feedback to come through.
So let's begin by connecting to the heart space.
Can you either feel,
Sense or even imagine your heart beating?
And your hand acts as an antenna.
So it's as if it's directing your full attention,
Your full awareness and energy there.
And as we connect to the heart,
We can imagine that we're softening the flesh around the heart,
The space behind the heart relaxing,
The space beyond the heart relaxed.
And taking a few breaths here to imagine that each inhale and exhale is moving out from the heart space.
So we breathe in,
The heart expands like a balloon.
And we breathe out and the heart deflates like a balloon.
And now bringing your awareness all the way down the body,
Beginning to connect to either the physical or the energetic space of the womb.
And acknowledging that sometimes we may not always receive strong sensations.
Sometimes it is the acknowledging of this space there.
And as we imagine the breath moving down into the womb,
Feeling perhaps the lower belly rise and fall.
Breathing.
Can you imagine that you are relaxing and softening the walls of the womb space?
And can you soften and relax the space below the womb and the space above the womb?
Relaxing.
And as you spend a few moments breathing into your womb here,
Can you imagine that each inhale and exhale moves into and out from your womb?
And as you inhale,
The womb inflates like a balloon.
And as you exhale,
The womb deflates,
Releasing,
Letting go.
And now as we come to connect these two spaces,
As you breathe in,
Can you imagine the womb filling up with that in-breath and feel it rise up into the top of the heart?
And as you exhale,
Can you imagine the energy of the heart almost cascading like a waterfall down the body,
Flooding the womb?
So as you inhale,
Womb fills up with breath,
With life force,
And that rises up to the heart.
And as you're exhaling,
Maybe it's water,
Maybe it's a warmth of love moving down the body,
Filtering down into the womb.
So breathing at your own pace here,
Inhaling,
Womb inflates,
Breath rises up to the heart.
Exhale,
Feel it releasing down the body,
Bathing your womb in love.
Take a few moments here to explore that wave of breath rippling from womb to heart and exhaling heart to womb.
And you are welcome to stay with this connection,
Stay with your breath for as long or as little as you'd like,
Noticing the connection that you have encouraged between womb and heart,
Heart and womb.
And whenever you're ready to welcome back in the day,
Know that you can blink open the eyes,
You can return to your space.
