Welcome.
My name is Michelle and I'm here to guide you through a short heart meditation today.
I invite you to get in a comfortable position either sitting up tall or lying down.
Whatever feels good to you today.
Gently close your eyes and draw your attention within.
You have to be aware of your body,
Where you feel tension and where you feel more at ease.
You can adjust your body as needed to get relaxed and as you settle in,
I would like you to take a full big breath in and out letting it all go.
Release it.
This is a space for you.
Let's begin this session by moving our attention away from the busy mind and towards your heart center.
I invite you to gently place your right hand on your heart and feel the warmth and opening that's happening there.
We will now be taking three slow heart breaths together in through the back of the heart,
Pausing there and then exhaling out through the front of the heart.
Let's begin.
Inhale slowly through the back of the heart.
Pause.
Hold there for a moment and exhale through the front of the heart.
Again,
Inhaling through the back of the heart and pausing,
Holding,
Feeling the stillness there in your heart that's starting to happen and exhaling through the front of the heart.
Feel a big breath through the back of the heart.
Hold it there.
Start to feel again that silence and stillness and love happening right there and then exhale through the front of the heart.
Good.
Now I'd like you to take some time for three heart breaths on your own,
Feeling your spirit and your heart centered wisdom.
Remember to pause in between the inhale and exhale to be aware of that stillness there in your heart.
Anytime your mind wanders,
Just gently bring it back to your heart,
Connecting there,
To your loving spirit.
Inhale through the back,
Holding for a pause and out through the front of the heart.
Let's continue this for a few more moments in silence and presence with this breath and with this love.
Gently concentrate your attention there.
As we close this guided meditation,
Let's take one final heart breath together,
Inhaling through the back,
Pausing to feel the stillness and presence and out through the front.
