Welcome to the Love Your Body meditation.

Today you are building a healthy connection to your body.

Just by taking this short time and space to focus on connecting with your body,

You're making a powerful move in that direction.

Imagine how you'd like to feel about your body as we go through this.

How can you let go of shame,

Release any negativity,

And treat your body with the respect and appreciation that it deserves?

And as we begin,

I'd like you to truly relax.

Lie on your back and take a deep breath.

Wiggle into complete relaxation.

I encourage you to allow anything your body is doing or wants right now.

Move to get more comfortable at any time.

Scratch an itch.

Breathe into it.

Just allow full acceptance of what your body tells you it wants.

And as we begin,

Let's take two full deep breaths.

In through your nose and out through your mouth,

Letting it all out.

Push out all that breath.

And another in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Fully relax.

Let go of your belly,

Any feelings of self-consciousness in your body.

Just let it go.

Take another deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Push it out.

So let's begin.

We will be scanning our entire body from the crown of the head to the tip of your toes with warm love energy like melted butter.

So imagine the crown of your head and let that warm energy drip down the front of your forehead and over your eyes slowly.

And let trickle that warmth over your right ear.

Focus on your right ear and move it down around your right cheek and jaw,

Across your chin.

And slowly move over to your left cheek and jaw and up around your left ear,

Feeling it with warmth and love and appreciation.

Move that warmth back over your forehead and down the middle of your face,

Down your nose and to your mouth,

Warming up your entire head with love and gratitude.

Now I'd like you to move that down over your whole neck,

Releasing any tension,

Wiggling where you need to get it out and flow that energy across your collarbone to your right shoulder and slowly down your right arm all the way down over your hand and send that tingling love energy to the tips of your fingers.

Take a deep breath and pause.

Now I'd like you to send that warmth right back up the same arm and find your neck again.

When you're ready,

Send that warmth to your left shoulder and let that warmth and love flow down your arms slowly like syrup until it flows into your hand and the tips of your fingers.

Now I'd like you to take that hand and put it on your heart.

Take your other hand and place it on your heart as well.

Here I'd like you to take a pause.

Take a long,

Deep breath and just pause in whatever you're feeling.

With your hands still on your heart,

Offer some love and gratitude for the miracles your body performs for you,

How it protects you and keeps you alive.

Keep breathing into that for a few moments.

Thank you body for everything you do for me automatically without being asked.

Take another deep breath in your nose and out your mouth and moving on from there,

Feel free to put your hands anywhere that feels comfortable.

And again,

Just if your body wants to.

In your mind's eye,

Visualize more warmth and love flowing down from your torso and swirling into your belly,

Warming it up with appreciation for all it does to serve you.

Let it fully relax.

Take a long,

Deep breath here and feel your belly rise and fall slowly.

Fully in and fully out,

Pausing at the top and letting it all out.

From there,

Move that energy down both of your hips and thighs front and back slowly,

Just infiltrating every corner and pausing at your knees for a moment for some little extra care there.

Then flow that warmth down your calves and shins and thanking them for their strength.

Finally,

Move over the top of your feet,

Warming every inch,

Every cell,

Over every toe.

Imagine every one of them individually warming up with love and appreciation.

And then under to the bottoms of your feet,

Sending tingling energy and appreciation for every step they take.

Take a pause here with a deep breath in through your nose and out with your mouth,

Releasing negativity and tension.

With your eyes still closed,

Bring both of your hands again to your heart.

Scan your entire body with love and appreciation into every cell,

Giving it gratitude for keeping you alive.

Breathe that love into every part.

Celebrate the magic that is the vibrant,

Tingling life force within you.

Take one final long,

Slow breath.

Smile and slowly open your eyes.

Breathe.
