Scorpio New Moon: Goddess Juno

We have on November 4th a powerful new moon in Scorpio. Not only is the new moon itself quite potent, as the gateway into our next eclipse season, but the days before and after have powerful aspects.

Hello and welcome.

Welcome to Everything is Energy.

Welcome to the Scorpio New Moon,

Which takes place on November 4,

2021.

We are headed into eclipse season,

And this new moon,

While actually it's not a part of the eclipse,

Is it marks the beginning of the eclipse portal opening,

If you will.

The first eclipse we'll have,

An eclipse season is going to come on the full moon,

Which happens after this new moon on the 19th of November,

And then we'll have a lunar eclipse,

And then we'll have a total solar eclipse in December.

So this particular new moon is when the portal opens.

New moons are seeding times,

New moons are seeding times,

And then the lunar eclipse on the 19th is going to be a time of release and wrapping up.

An eclipse is,

Well,

I use the word portal because what happens during this season is time is not linear.

Happenings are not linear.

At this time of the year,

The veil is already thin,

And with eclipse season,

The veil is even more thin.

So there's a lot of ability to see beyond the confines of the physical world and to move and exist and create beyond 3D.

Create within 3D,

But beyond it.

So this particular new moon is very special.

We have both Luna as well as Mars and the Sun in the sign of Scorpio.

The Sun is our external self.

Luna is our internal self.

Mars is actually the ancient ruler of Scorpio.

Mars is extremely determined.

When it fixes its attention on something,

It can be unstoppable.

Scorpio,

All of these planets are in Scorpio.

Scorpio is a water sign.

It's ruled by Pluto.

It's one of the most,

Or it is the most intense of the water signs,

And it's a secretive sign,

Sign of truths hidden beneath the surface,

Also associated with what we call buried treasure.

So we can expect during this time,

Potentially realizations that have been beneath the layers of our energetic awareness to come online,

To be seen so as to be shifted,

To be seen so as to be embraced.

And during this new moon,

We have what some astrology called hard aspects,

Challenging aspects.

One of them that's worth mentioning is the Sun and the Moon together in Scorpio are opposing Uranus and Taurus.

So the Sun and Moon in Scorpio,

As I mentioned,

Are about these hidden truths,

These buried treasures,

Secrets coming to light.

Uranus is the planet of sudden change,

Revolution,

Awakening,

High technology.

Taurus is the sign of safety,

Survival,

And simplicity.

So Sun and Moon in Scorpio opposing Uranus and Taurus,

They're actually not that different,

But they might be helping us to prepare for these quantum leaps to see that the things that we think are so polarized are actually just flip sides of the very same coin.

And now we have some other aspects happening around the time of this new moon that I want to mention.

First,

In terms of goddess energy,

On November 2nd,

Venus crosses directly over the galactic center.

The galactic center is the center of our galaxy.

And when Venus crosses over the galactic center,

It activates Venus's energy as well as the connection to who we really are.

The galactic center reminds us of our many souls lifetimes.

Venus,

The goddess of love,

We might feel around this time a sense of self-love,

Self-value.

And then on November 7th,

We have Juno,

The asteroid also crossing through the galactic center.

Juno and the moon together join in the galactic center on November 7th,

Just a couple days after this new moon.

So again,

The center of our galaxy,

The center of our souls calling in this lifetime.

Luna and Scorpio right now,

And Juno,

I want to get to her energy because this is where we're headed into this new moon,

Into this eclipse season.

We find Juno,

We find a lot written about Juno in terms of the Roman Empire.

Juno was held as the most revered goddess,

Protectress of the Roman Empire.

She was called Regina or queen.

It's interesting to note that,

Well,

Very likely Juno existed pre-Roman Empire,

Just as Hera,

Who's Juno's counterpart in Greek mythology,

Existed pre-Greek Empire.

This goddess was revered enough to be held in super high regard and placed at the center of their culture.

She's an interesting myth,

Which I'll get to,

But I want to just kind of note her broad applications and characteristics.

She was known as a goddess of fertility.

She was known as a goddess of protection.

There were seven to ten different aspects of her where she would increase wealth,

Support community,

Support fertility.

Also,

She was a goddess of war in some sense of triumph in times of conflict.

And in all of these,

She is held as the goddess of gods and goddesses.

So we learn about her myth as her role as the wife of Jupiter,

The daughter of Saturn,

The mother of Mars.

All three of those planets are right in line with each other.

Daughter of Saturn,

Wife of Jupiter,

Mother of Mars.

And then as the myth goes,

Very much like what we find between the relationship of Hera and Zeus,

Juno as queen is married to Jupiter,

Who's known to infuriate her and bring her into states of rage because of his philandering.

Same thing with Hera.

There's many stories of Hera being violently upset because of her husband Zeus's misactions.

And one of the things I want to have us consider is that these goddesses,

Particularly right now Juno,

Because her energy is lighting up in our world and our universe.

What if this goddess is so much more than what we find written during the times of the Roman Empire?

Very likely she existed prior to that.

Very likely she was sort of usurped or commandeered for their purposes,

And their purposes were,

As they talk about her,

Triumphant times of conflict,

Wealth and abundance,

Fertility,

Protection.

And all of those are very noble things,

But what if she was so much broader than that?

So what if this goddess never married?

What if this goddess was a counterpart in some of her aspects to Jupiter?

But what if she was a goddess sovereign unto herself?

What if Jupiter wanted to marry Juno,

And Juno took on so many broad aspects?

So when we read about the role of Juno becoming super angry and almost uncontrollable as a result of her husband's actions,

Maybe this goddess never got that angry.

Maybe that was her husband.

Maybe that was this man who sought her as his wife.

Just sit with what might feel true for you.

To me it seems that this goddess who is so broad and so ubiquitous and so powerful,

It seems a little bit contradictory to have her also lose control when her husband cheats on her.

So what if Juno was an independent woman unto herself who took Jupiter as her lover?

What if they never actually married?

What if she bore several children with him?

What if she never got angry?

What if she was independent of him?

And what if she is here with us to remind us how to transition times and tales of polarity?

The story we find of Juno is a very polarized one.

But what if this goddess is here right now to remind us that we are so much bigger and broader than the 3D linear world and identity that we inhabit right now?

That I want to offer is the potential of this eclipse season.

With this new moon,

A portal opens and invites us into an energetic leap forward.

You might think of it as a quantum leap in our own evolution.

And we have the energies of this goddess who seems to be the goddess of so many things.

Here to support us in knowing that we are powerful,

Protected,

Abundant,

Fertile,

And also full of vital energy.

So let's get to practice.

Find a quiet space where you can close your eyes.

You can sit or you can lie.

Let your spine be straight.

Let the muscles in your face relax.

Any holding in your jaw or your brow,

Let your eyelids be heavy.

Even see if you can relax your tongue inside your mouth.

And as you come into your body,

Connect to your heart.

Venus passing over the galactic center,

Juno passing over the galactic center are inviting us to connect to the power of our heart center,

Both for self love and love and compassion for others.

So feel this.

Maybe first you just connect to the physical heart,

The beating of your heart.

And then move your awareness right to the center of your chest and connect to this energetic powerhouse of sorts that is your heart chakra,

Your heart center.

And the colors that are usually associated with it are emerald green and also beautiful golden light.

So feel,

Notice what colors are present for you and how with even just a moment or two of your attention,

Your heart center,

Leans love and light to you and everything around you.

And feel your physical body just kind of let go of any holding.

Surrender a little bit more.

All you're doing is connecting to your heart center to the light that is always present within you.

Emerald green and beautiful golden light.

And as you're connecting and still staying present with the you that's listening to this broadcast and practicing this meditation to you today,

What is it during this new moon that you want to seed for transformation?

What is it in your life and how you interact with yourself and what you see in the world that is truly up for a quantum leap forward?

And the magic of this season is we don't have to figure out how.

We just get to call to mind right now what our intentions are.

Very often it might begin with something that is anything up for transformation is usually carrying a little bit more heavy energy at the beginning than it is at the end.

So it's okay if it's something that might feel a little bit frustrating to you.

That's part of the process.

And so just whatever's coming to mind for your intention,

Let that be present in your in your mental body and your emotional body but also stay connected to your heart center and feel how your heart center is able to hold its light even as you're bringing up something that is potentially challenging.

And now with this intention,

During the opening of this eclipse season,

I invite you to take a journey with me.

Imagine that you are outside under the light of the moon and you're in a beautiful verdant forest full of old growth trees,

Oak trees.

And there as you're walking through the forest,

You notice almost a portal of sorts.

The trees have grown into this circular pattern where the canopy meets above you.

And the trees almost have grown in a curved shape to create a circle inviting you to walk down this path.

And as you begin to walk down this path,

Orbs of golden and green light emerge to meet you as if coming from the direction that you're walking.

And you can feel the arms,

The love of the trees around you,

The earth beneath you.

Beneath the light of the moon,

There's this beautiful green light that is this natural setting that you're walking through.

Walking toward,

You can see off in the distance in this tunnel of trees,

A golden light.

And these orbs are moving towards you from this beautiful golden light.

Feel the earth beneath your feet.

Smell the freshness of the air.

And it's as if this golden light is inviting you,

Calling you,

Welcoming you home.

So the light is getting brighter,

The orbs are getting more numerous and they're almost just floating and dancing around you.

Golden orbs,

Emerald green orbs and this forest is lit up,

Emerald green and you're coming to meet this golden light.

And as you arrive,

You're invited to sit down on the forest floor,

Feel the earth beneath your sit bones and if you're more comfortable,

You can lie down and allow this light to begin to envelop you,

To merge with you,

To wrap itself all around you.

And you can feel yourself just take a little bit of a deep breath with that exhale,

You're already releasing any holding and this light is the energy of Goddess Juno.

And feel how all encompassing she is,

As if she so much broader than the words that humanity has attached to her.

Pure light.

And as she's wrapping herself all around you,

She's listening,

She's inviting you to tell her energetically or in your mind's eye about your intentions for this Scorpio New Moon for the beginning of this eclipse season.

What is it that you want to see?

What is it that you want to transform?

And feel how safe you feel.

Even as you bring up something that's ready to be raised to higher vibrations,

You're totally contained and protected and held in love.

And it's as if as you're energetically,

Mentally,

Emotionally showing her what you are ready to shift,

These orbs of light that are dancing around you are listening.

They're listening and they're almost starting to float off in all directions with their own energetic assignment to support this transformation for you.

No need to know what they're doing or who they are or where they're headed.

They know how to support this transformation.

And feel how any heaviness that might be,

Have come up as you were communing with this goddess about what you want to see,

What you want to transform,

It's shifted already.

Within your heart,

Any sort of heaviness that was held in this thing that needed to be transformed was shifted into light.

And this goddess is reminding you now that she is that energy within your heart center.

That is how broad and limitless and abundant her energy is.

So as you're surrounded by her,

Feel her also intrinsically connected within you as you,

As your heart center.

And feel how nourishing and supportive and loving that feels.

Love for this goddess,

Love for yourself,

For being able and willing to connect with her and to carry her energy out into the world.

And it's as if right now during this eclipse season,

She's inviting you to consider that as you travel on this path of transformation,

That your requests will be honored,

That your most important job,

If you will,

Is to invite her,

Allow her,

Keep her within your heart and carry this light that is you and that is her everywhere you go.

And if you're willing to do that,

You can place one or both hands over your heart center.

And as if with a deep energetic bow,

Thank her,

Acknowledge her.

Wonderful.

And now she invites you to get up,

To stand up and to carry her light back out the way you came back through this tunnel of trees,

General green light and all these orbs of light dancing around you.

And feel how as if you're walking,

You can feel the earth beneath you,

But you're floating.

And this goddess Juno wants you to remember and to know intuitively that she is always with you,

That this heart center of yours is her energetic signature.

And then all you need to do is to connect with your own heart center,

With her energy and to shine that light.

That is precisely what is needed both within each of us,

For everyone and everything around us for our entire planet.

This light,

This willingness to be a conduit,

A beam,

Shining light everywhere we go.

And as you reach the end of this tunnel of trees,

You're standing outside and transported back to the place where you're listening to this broadcast,

Back into your body.

Still,

Maybe with your hands over your heart,

You can once again place your hands over your heart.

And now with the deep bow to yourself,

For having taken the time to do this practice,

To invite the energy of this goddess to be ever present with you and to shine her light through you.

Feel how powerful and humbling and profound that calling is and how it might be just the perfect thing to carry at the start of this eclipse season,

To carry into this eclipse season for transformation.
