Begin by closing your eyes and bringing your awareness to your body,
Your physical body as well as your energetic field,
And just notice you,
Your body,
Your field,
As it is right now.
Not scanning for problems and not getting any effort to improve anything,
Just simply connecting,
Observing,
Noticing.
Take a slow breath in through your nose and a gentle exhale through the mouth.
And as you're breathing,
Just observing,
Connecting,
Noticing you.
Breathing in through the nose,
Easy release through the mouth.
One more time,
Breathing in,
Observing you.
Without judgment,
Just observing,
Exhale,
Release the breath through the mouth.
And now bring your awareness or allow your awareness to travel to one area of the body.
Let it be just any place that naturally draws your attention.
Notice where your awareness is settling,
What region of the body or region of the field.
And as you bring your awareness to that one area of you,
Instead of changing it or addressing it,
Simply listen.
What is the quality here?
What is the energetic quality in this area of your body?
What is the temperature here?
Is there movement?
Is there stillness?
There is no correct answer.
We're just simply observing.
Noticing.
What is the quality of energy here?
Notice what comes to mind.
And as you're just connecting to this area of your body or your field,
If the mind offers any kind of solutions or judgments,
You can acknowledge them,
But then just let them pass.
Just return to listening.
The body does not need to be corrected in order to be heard.
And continue to allow the energy of your consciousness to just simply rest in connection with this area of you.
Resting with this quiet attention.
Often regulation arises not through action,
But through being met,
Through being seen,
Through being held.
And simply by being acknowledged,
The energy can start to move.
And maybe notice now if that begins to happen.
And if it doesn't,
There is no judgment here.
We're simply bringing the awareness of our consciousness,
The power of our consciousness,
To connect with one area of the body and just simply listening.
Bringing our presence there.
Now take a nice breath in through the nose.
Exhale through your mouth.
And just gently allow your awareness to widen again,
To still see that place in your body or your field,
But to return to the entirety of you.
And when you are ready,
Return your awareness to the room or the place where you're practicing this meditation.
And as you open your eyes,
Set the intention to bring this listening,
This quality of respectful listening to you with you.
