Equinox, Aries New Moon, Pluto In Aquarius

We have three powerful events in the third week of March 2023: the Equinox, Aries New Moon, and Pluto moving into Aquarius. I discuss all three in the podcast and have written more information in my blog post at bodyandsoulapothecary

To everything is energy.

Welcome to the Aries,

New Moon,

The Equinox,

Pluto and Capricorn.

We are living in such tremendous times,

Such exciting times.

I'm going to focus on the New Moon,

But also as always I want to give us a little bit of a backdrop as to what's going on cosmically.

Just hours before this New Moon we have the March Equinox.

And this Equinox is starting to set the stage for us to engage in a cosmic divine rebalancing of ourselves and our planet.

And the Equinox is the time when there are equal hours of light and dark in the northern hemisphere.

It can feel like a time of rebirth as we're headed into spring.

In the southern hemisphere it can feel like a time of introspection,

Headed towards winter.

And regardless of where you are at on this planet,

This for all of us signifies the start of Aries season.

In astrological wheel,

Aries is the first sign in the zodiac.

And this is another new beginning.

We'd likely set some intentions at the start of this year,

In 2023.

This new beginning,

This energetic restart,

New year,

Is inviting us to reflect,

Re-reflect on our intentions,

Our dreams,

Our goals,

Our visions for this year and for the future.

And it's as this other form of a new beginning,

It's setting the stage to support us in looking at what needs to be realigned,

What could be fine-tuned about our intentions.

How can we continue to energetically raise the bar?

So the Equinox is on the 20th of March and immediately after that we have the Aries new moon,

Which is exact on the 21st of March at 10 23 a.

M pacific time.

And boy,

This new moon is carrying tons of Aries energy.

We have four planets and two asteroids,

Chiron and Eris,

In the sign of Aries.

Aries being cardinal masculine fire,

Ruled by Mars.

Aries is a very confident sign,

A dynamic sign,

An active sign,

A courageous sign.

And Aries being ruled by Mars,

We have an interesting conjunction that I'll touch on lightly here and then I'll spend a little bit more time unpacking this significance.

So the other active energy during this new moon is Mars,

The ruler of Aries,

Is conjunct Betelgeuse.

And these both are at the anoretic degrees of the sign of Gemini,

The final degrees of Gemini,

Together,

Conjoined.

Starting to bring up some of the shadow side of the twins of Gemini.

So this could support us in seeing dualism,

The instability of dualism,

That there's more than just the black and white side of things.

I'm going to circle back to the Aries new moon in a moment,

But I want to fast forward to what happens just two days later.

Pluto finally dips into Aquarius.

Pluto,

The planet of death and rebirth,

Has been shaking the structures of our physical world in the sign of Capricorn.

Pluto moving into Aquarius,

It's just going to spend three months in Aquarius during 2023,

But it's going to show us and give us a glimpse of the revolution that is unfolding in the next few decades.

Aquarius is the water bearer.

Aquarius is ruled by Uranus.

And as I'd like to say,

Uranus is reminding us that we are the high technology that we seek.

Aquarian energy is radical.

It's unconventional.

And it's known,

Its desire is to take action for the cause that it holds so dear,

The sole purpose cause.

And it's going to call us into collective action.

But it's going to do it through what might seem to be unconventional means.

Aquarius is unconventional.

It's above and beyond the status quo.

And this is perfect because the quote unquote conventional we've been shown with Pluto and Capricorn is outdated.

Pluto and Aquarius is going to invite us to continue to raise the energetic bar,

To be unafraid,

To think outside of the norm,

To be outside of the norm,

To step outside of the norm,

To vibrate above and beyond.

And Aquarius reminds us of higher dimensional technology.

There's so many things that we haven't even begun to remember.

Ways of being and doing and understanding that most of humanity can't even imagine right now.

And you know,

We've been through,

If you think about the cycles of time,

Humanity's been through some very dark times where a lot of information has been hidden or forgotten.

And Aquarius,

Pluto and Aquarius,

The most simple way to think about what that message is,

Is wake up.

So that's all happening.

All this is taking place within a week.

And this is such beautiful,

Perfectly timed,

Intense energies that are setting us up for being that change that our heart desires.

So I mentioned that we not only have all this Aries energy,

We have Mars conjunct Betelgeuse at the anoretic degrees of Gemini.

And it's worth looking into the why that all this is aligning.

Betelgeuse is the nearest red supergiant star to Earth.

And it's became very well known because it's said that someday it will explode as a supernova.

For our purposes,

It's the second brightest star in the constellation of Orion.

And it's located at Orion's right shoulder.

Orion being the hunter,

His right shoulder being a very pivotal place energetically.

It's also interesting to note that it's during the first months of the year,

It's fairly easy to see this reddish hued star in the constellation of Orion.

Also worthwhile to remember that the constellation of Orion,

Orion's belt,

Which is the easiest way to recognize that constellation in the sky,

Orion's belt is perfectly aligned with the position of the pyramids in Giza in Egypt.

Orion has fascinated humanity for eons of time.

And to the Egyptians,

Orion was Osiris,

The divine masculine counterpart to Isis.

Isis being the divine feminine.

It's also interesting to note,

I'm teaching this in my course on Egyptian alchemy right now,

And I'm going to be offering another round of that course because it's just so transformational.

This information on alchemy in Egypt is mind-blowing.

But to the Egyptians,

Divine masculine and divine feminine were understood to be balanced within everyone.

So men had equal parts divine masculine and divine feminine.

A female person had also equal parts divine masculine,

Divine feminine.

So that's another way of saying that with this Orion,

Osiris,

Betelgeuse energy,

Isis is also present right now.

It's also interesting to note,

In this podcast I talk a lot about the need for the return of the divine feminine.

But the divine masculine needs the divine feminine to return just as much as the divine feminine needs that to happen.

When we look at what happened when the Greeks downgraded Orion from masculine to the arrogant stalker of his female counterpart Artemis.

Downgrading the divine masculine downgrades the divine feminine.

And I mentioned that we've been through darker times.

That Aquarius and Pluto is going to support us in remembering all this information that seems to have been lost but is not lost.

And in the Egyptian alchemy course I walk us to the potential of how the Egyptians saw the world as interconnected and magical.

And this information became lost and fragmented.

One metaphor is the separation of church and state.

But there's many metaphors to information that got scattered and is now coming back together because it's time.

So the myth of Artemis,

One of the myths of Artemis,

These myths are so fascinating.

Artemis as a virgin goddess,

Woman unto herself,

Who was a huntress herself.

She was the keeper of the animals.

She loved animals.

She got annoyed at Orion's constant boasting that he could hunt down and dominate any animal.

So she sent a scorpion to sting his foot which made him blind.

And this is this is interesting.

There's so many myths about Artemis and Orion.

There's so much conflicting energy.

I don't necessarily believe that that myth is true,

That that story I just shared with you is true.

I spend a lot of time debunking the myths about divine feminine but as I'm mentioning here,

Divine masculine has been equally denigrated.

So I want to offer something a little different.

That if Orion is Osiris in Egypt,

Then Artemis might be a reflection of Isis.

And when you look up who was Orion,

You'll find the same level just like there's so many stories about Artemis and Orion.

There's a lot of conflicting information about confusing information.

I like the simpler older version than all those stories.

The Egyptians saw Orion as Osiris.

So then if we're willing to entertain that Orion is Osiris,

Maybe Artemis is Isis.

This sheds interesting light as Artemis is clearly stated as the the virgin goddess of the hunt.

Let's touch for a second on what we know about Isis.

Isis is one of the most important goddesses in ancient Egypt.

She was known as the divine counterpart to her husband Osiris.

She was connected with,

As Osiris was,

She was a magical healer,

She cured the sick,

She brought deceased to life,

She was a mother,

She was a role model for.

Isis is also widely known in the Islamic state of Iraq and Syria associated with a terrorist organization.

So much room for healing at this time.

So this brings us to Betelgeuse.

This bright red star found in the striking arm of the hunter.

This is the pivotal power point where in some myths he holds a huge phallic club.

He holds,

It's the active male principle.

It's the power center of his active male principle.

Betelgeuse is also thought to be a little bit volatile.

It can be seen by some astrologers as negative and aggressive.

But like everything there's a flip side.

It can also give worldly power,

It can give great strength,

It can bring success.

It's very much supporting us in rebalancing at this time.

And as Betelgeuse is in the pivotal power pivotal power center of the constellation of Orion,

This alpha male energy is inviting us to remember what it really means,

What it can offer us as we step into this project of rebalancing.

And that might very much be part of what Pluto in Aquarius is going to help us do until 2044.

So it's interesting to note that Osiris is associated with the Fool,

The Fool being painted green in the Crowley deck.

We also have weights,

Tarot talks about the Fool in a negative way.

That card is associated with folly,

Mania,

Extravagance,

Intoxication,

Sort of the shadow side of Aries,

The shadow side of divine masculine.

But it's also the first card of the major arcana.

We tend to see the Fool as a generally positive card.

It's an indication of new beginnings.

If I find it in a reading it can mean that someone's on the verge of an exciting,

Unexpected new adventure.

And in the Syrian Starseed tarot deck that I work with,

The Fool is actually the Starseed,

The indigo,

The bright version of this beautiful young being that could be each one of us,

Came in so awake,

So ready to awaken,

To remember.

So let's get to practice.

I want to offer that Betelgeuse,

Conjoined with Mars,

In the Anoretic Degrees of Gemini,

Are helping us raise ourselves above duality.

In the Alchemy Course I teach about the importance of polarity in magic,

But that polarity is a much broader concept and allows for a continuum of possibilities.

Duality can engage the same energy,

But it only gives us two options,

Right and yes and no.

So Betelgeuse is holding up this mirror for us,

For how we're vibrating,

And supporting us in doing a couple things.

Seeing where we're at,

Seeing what needs to be cleared up in our collective,

And remembering that we are limitless in a universe of possibilities.

It's a safe,

Comfortable space where you can comfortably sit or lie with a straight spine.

Close your eyes,

And just begin by taking a few deep breaths,

Breathing in through your nose.

See if you can just add a couple more seconds to that inhalation,

And release through your mouth and take a couple more seconds on your exhale as well.

Breathing in,

And as you breathe out,

See if you can make your exhale even slightly longer than your inhale.

A few more rounds of breath,

Just like that.

That extra time on the exhale is going to support us in slowing down our thinking mind,

So that we can raise our consciousness above and beyond what it is that we think we already know.

And I invite you to travel with me to Egypt.

Imagine yourself being transported to the shores of the Nile River.

It's outside,

You are outside,

It's nighttime.

The moon is new,

The moon is dark,

But you can sense her up above you,

And you're seated on this warm earth.

Around you are papyrus plants,

In front of you is this beautiful,

Vast river.

Behind you are the pyramids.

And as you just simply engage with this active,

Intelligent water,

Sky,

Cosmos,

Take a few more breaths.

Allow yourself to just connect,

Simultaneously feel the peace and the calm,

And feel the power,

Vital energy that's present here.

And as you're looking up at the sky,

You notice that you're not just looking up at the sky,

You notice three stars in a straight line.

The belt of Orion,

The constellation of Orion.

And you look up to the side a little bit and you see this glimmering,

Shimmering red star.

And as you connect with it,

It almost winks at you,

As if to say hello.

And it begins to seemingly descend as a small point of light.

It descends from the sky and it comes to hover,

Right in front of you.

About 15 feet in front of you,

Out over the water of the Nile.

This pinpoint of red light begins to expand.

It expands to take up the whole space in between you,

And to wrap itself around you.

And as it does,

It feels very safe and secure,

Grounded in this energy.

This is the energy of divine masculine.

And just notice if you just take a sigh of relief,

As if this too feels like coming home.

This sense of security,

Wisdom,

Power,

Courage.

This is the energy of Betelgeuse.

And as you're surrounded by these,

As if it's the loving arms of a wise,

Generous,

Gentle,

Powerful father.

This energy is inviting you to entertain the way you believe that you are.

The way you believe that you are here.

And just for a few moments,

Allow this Betelgeuse energy to be a mirror of sorts,

To support you in raising up beyond duality.

Beyond duality.

Embracing polarity and embracing the opposite energies,

But realizing it's not so black and white.

And as you're enveloped in this red sphere of light,

Beyond you is still this vast,

This flowing around you.

This is divine feminine,

Supporting you and remembering this balance,

This harmony.

So as Betelgeuse is sort of filling you up with new ideas,

Ways of seeing this world that is limitless,

But is not limited by anything that is present in this physical world,

Certainly not the existence of opposition.

Perhaps you're finding a new sense energetic of courage and strength.

Perhaps you're a deeply wise understanding of how perfect everything is and how massively even more perfect it is destined to become.

And as this transmission is coming to an end,

This red sphere of light begins to shrink back.

So it's just this pinpoint of light hovering over the water out in front of you.

And then it descends right up back to the sky where it came from.

And now here you are connecting with this powerful force of flowing.

And from that water,

Another point of light raises up a blue point of light and begins to expand.

Just like the red sphere,

It envelops you,

It merges with you.

This is the energy of divine feminine and allow yourself to receive any deeper insights,

Any intuitive knowings,

Who you are and why you're here and see if you can receive within yourself this activation of this perfect harmonious balance.

That potentially at this time,

One of the most profound things you can do is to embody both of these energies in harmony in harmony simultaneously.

So that you can have the courage to take action you need to.

You can have the wisdom and the inner knowing to be silent and go within when you need to.

You can hold space for everyone and everything.

Potentially this inner harmony is part of the vast wake up of humanity.

So just a little bit more time here,

Receiving any wisdom from divine feminine.

And then as this transmission is coming to a close,

The sphere of light shrinks back down to a pinpoint in front of you and descends into the water.

Looking up at the sky,

Notice how you cannot see Luna herself,

But you can close your eyes and connect with her energetically.

Feel the wisdom that just like her cycles,

She goes from being fully present to the 3D world,

To being seemingly non-existent to the human eye.

But that does not mean anything about whether or not she's really there.

So let her give you a message about what's possible to create the world that you want to see.

This deep inner knowing that because we do not see it doesn't mean anything.

We are the creators.

And that with Pluto entering into Aquarius,

That now is the time to awaken,

To continue to raise the bar for the visions and the dreams that we hold for ourselves.

And potentially you have now insight into what intentions,

What seeds you want to plant with this new moon.

What intentions for this year,

For the years to come,

What you now believe is possible.

I invite you to spend as much time visioning as you'd like to wrap this meditation up.
