Hello and welcome.
Welcome to Everything is Energy.
Welcome to Cancer New Moon which is exact on July 14th 2026 at 2 43 a.
M pacific time We have the sun and the moon conjunct as we always do during a new moon.
They are conjunct at 21 degrees of cancer.
And cancer is.
.
.
Cardinal Feminine Water Energy.
Cancer is the sign of the home,
The mother,
The family line,
The waters of the body,
And the places where we seek safety.
It reminds us that before we build.
.
.
Before we achieve and before we reach outward into the world.
We must first.
Well,
We'd do well to first entertain the question,
What truly nourishes us and what truly nourishes life?
And this new moon is not alone.
There's a powerful stellium.
And Cancer with the Sun and the Moon,
Their conjunct Mercury,
As well as the fixed stars Castor,
Pollux,
And Procyon.
And this creates a concentrated field of Cancerian intelligence,
Not just emotional sensitivity,
But emotional wisdom.
Ancestral memory and the ability to name what the heart already knows.
This new moon is about tending to what matters.
But it's also a little bit of a new moon under pressure.
And this is because the sun and moon are squaring Saturn and Aries.
They're also semi-square to Venus in Virgo and semi-square to Uranus in Gemini.
And if you've heard me talk before,
Some folks talk about squares and semi-squares as negative aspects.
I like to think of those quote-unquote negative aspects as simply challenges that are there to support us to raising ourselves to higher ground.
So there's nothing negative.
There's nothing super scary.
It's just about the fact that friction might occur and that's totally natural and okay.
You know,
Venus becomes especially important here because she's also at the apex of a yod.
And I'll get to that.
It's often called the finger of God.
I'll get to that in a little bit.
And that yod is formed by Neptune and Aries and Pluto conjunct Juno and Altair and Aquarius.
But off the top,
While this lunation really begins and with all those cosmic bodies and cancer,
There's so much Cancerian energy,
So there's themes of care and themes of emotional renewal,
But the chart points us towards Venus and Virgo.
And Venus in Virgo is devotion and discernment and service and embodiment.
And Virgo loves the details,
But these are sacred details.
This is an understanding that every little thing we do,
Whether seen or unseen,
Matters.
And,
You know,
The questions are really about how do we care in ways that are authentic?
And how do we nourish without over functioning?
How do we build a future where emotional truth and practical devotion and collective transformation can merge and synthesize?
So let's begin at the heart of the chart,
The new moon itself.
I mentioned that new moons are always a conjunction of the sun and the moon.
And the sun represents our conscious awareness,
Our vitality,
Our identity,
Our life force energy.
The moon represents our emotional body,
Our intuition,
Our instinct,
Our memory,
Our receptivity,
As well as our inner self.
And when they come together,
Every time they come together,
A new cycle begins.
Hence the new moon.
In cancer,
This new cycle is beginning in the waters of feeling.
Cardinal feminine water is the energetic of cancer.
And,
You know,
It initiates through emotion.
It moves through care.
It leads by protecting what is vulnerable and nourishing what is alive.
And this is a beautiful reminder that sensitivity is absolutely not weakness.
And I've said this time and time again,
Even if we're in a time of massive transformation and we can feel overloaded,
It is absolutely not a time to shut down.
Our sensitivity is our superpower.
And cancer is often a little bit misunderstood as soft or passive.
But cancer is the sign of the crab.
And if we think about the metaphor of the crab,
Yeah,
There's absolutely a soft inner belly.
And part of the crab,
But what about that hard outer shell and those crab claws,
Right?
So,
You know,
As one of the most protective signs in the zodiac,
It knows what matters because it feels what matters.
And at 21 degrees,
This Cancer New Moon has a mature emotional tone to it.
It's not simply asking us to feel more.
It's asking us to become more conscious of how we respond to what we feel.
That's different.
It's not just feel,
React.
It's feel and integrate.
Take some time to consciously Choose the response.
So this lunation is asking questions like,
Where do I feel safe?
Where do I feel emotionally nourished?
What am I protecting?
And also what am I ready to nurture within myself?
What kind of home am I creating?
Metaphorically as well as physically,
But that's so what kind of home am I creating internally as well as externally?
And so I mentioned the new moon is a part of.
A larger Canstostelium.
The stellium occurs essentially,
It's just when multiple planets or celestial bodies are in one sign and that's,
It just means that there's a concentrated theme of that sign.
When they all show up and they're all active,
It just makes mathematical sense that there's more of that energy.
So here,
The sun and moon I mentioned are joined by Mercury.
The Planet of Communication,
Perception,
Thinking,
And Language.
You know,
And mercury in cancer is expression and speaking through feeling.
Mercury remembers and it listens beneath the words.
It communicates through tone and memory and emotional resonance and it's almost as if,
You know,
I've spoken about how to me in many ways,
Uranus is the higher octave of Mercury sometimes because Mercury is often mundane communication,
Very much 3D-oriented communication.
But mercury in cancer is inviting us to feel into.
Emotionally,
But also energetically.
There's this idea of emotional resonance here.
And with Mercury close to this new moon,
There may be.
.
.
Important conversations around family.
Belonging.
Home,
Care,
Emotional needs.
And there may also,
Well,
There absolutely always is,
But especially now,
The need to speak from the heart versus to speak from defensiveness or reactiveness.
So mercury in cancer invites us to consider,
You know,
What can we communicate?
What can we express without retreating?
And how can we listen with empathy without abandoning our own truth?
Also,
How can we honor memory without being trapped by the past?
And now the stellium is also activating several important fixed stars.
These stars are Castor,
Pollux,
And Procyon.
And I want to start with Castor and Pollux because they're the mythic twins.
Associated with the constellation Gemini.
And in the myth,
Castor was mortal and Pollux was immortal.
And when Castor died,
Pollux was so devoted to his brother that he asked Zeus to allow them to remain together.
They became associated with twinship,
With loyalty.
With things like duality and companionship.
And really the bridge between mortality and immortality.
And when they show up together astrologically,
They often speak of dual paths or paired experiences,
Maybe even sibling themes or contrast or the need to be able to hold two different realities at once.
And in the context of this Cancer New Moon,
Their presence can bring attention to the emotional complexity of family systems.
And when I use the word family,
I kind of want to also just expand out a little bit.
Absolutely,
This can be about our bloodline,
But our family as we're coming to understand in this era on our planet is is everyone.
Our family,
In the largest sense,
Is the universe and is humanity,
But it's those that we feel kinship with.
It's also interesting to think about family being the stories that we inherit.
And while again,
Those stories might absolutely be stories that our mother told us,
Or we heard from our grandmother or our grandfather.
But there's also something about these times that if we're entertaining that the family is a more universal note,
Then the stories are about these thought forms in collective consciousness that have been a part of.
All the collective for so long.
And it's almost,
Well,
It is palpable that some of those stories are up for revision,
Right?
So,
Well,
Cancer,
You know,
Already carries that sense of ancestral and familial,
Big enlarged version of that term memory.
I want to add Castor and Pollux here because cancer is that,
But so are Castor and Pollux.
Castor and Pollux deepen this.
They ask us to consider the bonds that shape us.
The roles we inherit.
People that we're connected to and the ways that we remain connected across difference.
And I think you can feel that that is absolutely maybe simultaneously about personal family,
But absolutely about the human family.
And Procyon,
You know,
Procyon is another important fixed star.
Its name means before the dog because it rises before Sirius,
The dog star.
And Procyon has often been associated with quick movement,
With opportunities,
Intelligence,
Sudden openings.
It can bring swift developments.
But it's not just about speed.
It's also,
You know,
It's also asking us for maturity and follow through.
And in cancer,
Procion may bring emotional opportunities.
Conversations,
Openings,
Invitations,
Or maybe simply realizations that arrive quickly or suddenly,
But even if they arrive quickly,
They need to be handled with care.
So this is,
Again,
We're not just knee-jerk reacting here.
We're tending something with this energy of cancer.
And I mentioned at the top that cancer carries a motherly,
Nurturing energy.
And when I think about what's going on with Pluto in Aquarius and that shift from Pluto Capricorn to Pluto and Aquarius and to me it feels like top-down structures Pluto was an Aquarius or shifting to circular structures and and circular structures are about community and if we think about potentially even those Societies where women held power there was this sense that if there was a circle that there was conversation and instead of just judging someone and acting there were conversations that were had,
There was processes involved.
And so again,
You know,
Procyon is inviting us to,
You know,
Even though things can happen rapidly,
The deeper value of things are how we steward what we're creating,
How we steward our realizations,
How we steward the energetic of the future.
It becomes a moment of emotional communication.
And ancestral intelligence.
And I want to again say ancestral intelligence from our bloodline ancestors,
Absolutely.
But if we also consider our ancestral intelligence,
If the stars have intelligence,
The ancestral intelligence of the stars,
The ancestral intelligence of being a part of humanity.
And the meaningful openings that also happen through connection.
So now we come to the first,
You know,
Challenge point.
I want to talk about the sun and the moon squaring Saturn and Aries.
And you know,
Saturn represents karma.
Saturn is often thought of and spoken of in a negative tone,
But Saturn is about structure and discipline and responsibility and boundary.
Saturn wants us to create something stable in the physical world.
And there's this request for wisdom and maturity at a higher level of Saturn.
And Saturn and Aries,
You know,
Aries represents identity.
It's also absolutely about courage and action and independence and initiation.
And so Saturn in Aries is inviting and asking us to become,
To hold,
To become responsible for how we act.
But also how we begin,
How we take action,
How we claim our individual path.
And the square from the Cancer New Moon to Saturn and Aries creates a challenge between our emotional needs and personal responsibility.
And so,
Well,
On the one hand,
Cancer says,
You know,
There's a need for myself for safety and care and connection.
Saturn in Aries is simultaneously saying that there's a need for us to stand in our own authority.
And to take responsibility for the directions that we're choosing.
And also to develop deep self-trust.
And let that be the place that we Live with courage.
So this square may highlight some places in our world and maybe in our own lives where emotional dependency and personal agency are are good to be brought into balance.
And so,
You know,
The question here might be.
.
.
Am I waiting for someone else or something else to make me feel safe?
Also,
Maybe,
You know,
Do I need stronger boundaries?
Where is it good for me to hold a boundary?
And also,
You know,
Where can we act with maturity rather than reaction?
There's that theme again,
Right?
Where the wisdom of taking a breath and not just responding,
Responding with consciousness.
So this is not,
Absolutely not,
Even though it's Saturn,
It's not a punishment.
Saturn doesn't punish,
Saturn teaches.
Saturn is the planet of karma.
And if we think about the concept of karma,
Yeah,
Sometimes if you're dishing out negativity,
You might receive it back,
But it's a teaching element,
Right?
There's a harmonic to it.
And Saturn asks us to grow into the structure that can hold our lives.
So under this new moon,
You know,
Emotional renewal is gonna.
Is potentially going to require some responsibility.
And I mentioned that there's two semi squares here as well.
So the sun and the moon are also semi square to Venus and Virgo.
And this is a subtle friction point.
It may not be as loud as a square,
But energetically it still carries a challenge or an adjustment or a pressure for refinement.
And while Venus represents harmony and balance and love and beauty and values and pleasure and relationship.
And Virgo Venus expresses through Virgo's themes.
Attention to detail.
Virgo is detail-oriented,
Not to be annoying,
But because Virgo is wanting the best for everyone and everything.
So there's this energy of devotion and discernment and service and care in the attention to detail.
So this means that Venus in Virgo you know,
Finds love and peace through practical acts,
And it notices what needs tending.
And there's this,
Right now,
There's this motivation to express our affection through support and precision and presence,
Through those small acts that maybe never get seen,
But get felt energetically.
And the semi-square from the Cancer New Moon to Venus in Virgo,
It suggests that emotional needs and practical care may not be perfectly aligned yet.
Because this is a new moon.
This is an inception point.
So while Cancer may want tenderness,
Virgo may try to fix.
And there's this sense maybe,
Well,
Cancer just wants to be held.
Virgo might just start organizing the room and realize that the kitchen needs to be cleaned,
For example.
So,
You know,
But there's an easy way through here.
The through line is how do we offer care in a way that's actually needed?
And also,
You know,
How can we make sure that Love doesn't become a critique,
Right?
Orientation to details.
Is let's orient it in a way that actually serves others.
And to refine things without making them feel like projects.
You know,
This is especially important because,
As I mentioned,
Venus isn't just casually involved in this particular chart.
She's also at the apex of the yacht.
So Venus in Virgo is becoming as this conversation is unfolding here.
One of the most important placements of this entire loonation.
So let's get to the second semi-square.
The Sun and the Moon are also semi-square to Uranus and Gemini.
And Uranus represents awakening.
That lightning bolt of change.
Uranus reminds us that we are the high technology we seek.
And I mean technology far beyond phones and laptops.
I mean the energy of our consciousness,
The power of our energetic field,
The power of our consciousness.
So if Uranus represents that type of awakening,
It also makes sense that Uranus represents disruption.
Disruption and innovation and liberation and sudden change all in the same swath.
All in the same fell swoop,
So to speak.
So,
You know,
In Gemini,
Uranus is awakening the mind and Gemini is the sign of the twins.
And I like to think of Gemini as it's not just two twins one way or the other way in this sort of binary.
Gemini wants to talk to everybody at the dinner party.
Gemini doesn't just want to sit on the couch with the same Click of friends.
Gemini wants to walk in everybody's shoes.
So,
You know,
Uranus in Gemini absolutely is changing communication.
I mentioned earlier that I sometimes think of or often think of Gemini as a higher octave of Mercury.
So,
You know,
It's changing our perception and our experience and our potential with communication and information systems and language and the way that we exchange information.
And if we're awakening to the fact that we are it,
Humanity,
Our consciousness is the gold that's worth supporting and nourishing here,
Right?
So we're going through a massive upgrade remembering that we are the technology and that the way we exchange ideas.
Well,
There's going to be so many new facets in the 3D world,
But really it's lifting us up and out of the fear of being stuck by the physical technology.
And the semi-square between the cancer pneumone and urinus in Gemini.
You know,
New information may unsettle our feelings of familiarity.
Absolutely.
Our conversations may electrify our nervous system.
And realization may arrive suddenly that maybe also what's coming through right here is it's okay and it's probably good to again not react,
To take time for emotional adjustment.
Because Cancer Seeks!
Safety,
Safety in a good way,
But safety.
And Uranus in Gemini is disrupting the familiar pattern,
The familiar mental pattern.
So the If there's a challenge in a semi-square or a need for adjustment,
It's about remaining emotionally centered as new information arrives.
It's about allowing our mind to change.
Without losing our sense of who we are and what we belong to.
And I guess I'll put it in a different way.
I think it's about making room for new ideas while still honoring our own emotional needs.
I think that's the best way to think about it.
You know,
As we're expanding our understanding of who we are as ourselves and as a collective.
There is absolutely also always,
But especially now,
The need to care for self.
The light is only as bright as the window through which it shines.
So that means that we absolutely need to tend to ourselves.
And this is subtle,
But it's important because this means that this chart is asking us to care for ourselves.
As much as for everything,
And care for ourselves first and foremost,
Actually.
Now I want to shift to what is,
In my offering,
One of the most important configurations in the chart,
The yod.
And a yod is often called the finger of fate or the finger of God.
And it's formed,
In a chart it looks like a really tall triangle.
And it's formed when two points are in sextile at the base,
And they form quincunxes to a third point called the apex.
And sextiles are flowing energy,
So the base is going to show us two energies that can work together.
And the quincunx is a challenge.
The apex is going to show us where the pressure is directed.
And the apex is where potentially there is an adjustment or where there's action or energy that wants to move.
So in this chart,
The base of the yacht is Neptune in Aries and Pluto conjunct Juno and Altair in Aquarius.
And the apex is Venus in Virgo,
As I mentioned.
So that means that all of this larger spiritual and collective energy is being directed towards the Venus in Virgo.
But let's start with Neptune and Aries.
You know,
Neptune represents dreams,
Ideals,
Spirituality.
It's the planet of illusion and delusion,
But it's also about imagination and compassion.
And in Aries,
Neptune brings spiritual vision into the realm of initiation.
What dream is trying to be born?
Or what vision is asking for courage?
But also,
You know,
Maybe Aries is absolutely about emerging.
What spiritual identity is emerging?
And on the one hand,
Neptunian areas can be absolutely beautiful.
It can also be a little bit confusing.
In the sense that it can inspire action,
But it also can blur the difference.
There's this foggy energy of Neptune that is mystical,
But it's also,
If you think about driving in the fog,
It might be hard to see the road.
So there's this sense of,
You know,
Making sure or just understanding that there might be a difference between true calling and impulsive fantasy.
And I'm going to return to the energetic that's operational here.
Instead of being impulsive or reactive,
We're invited to merge and work and be with the energy.
So while this lunation happens at an exact point in time,
This is a cycle of time.
So this is kind of something for us to Maybe let marinate over the course of the entire lunar cycle or to just watch as things unfold.
To read the energy.
So we also have Pluto conjunct Juno and Altair and Aquarius that's involved in this sextile as the base of this yod.
And,
You know,
Pluto and Aquarius represents deep transformation of our collective systems,
Of our communities,
Of our technologies,
Of our networks,
But our notions of shared power.
And I think I mentioned earlier that,
You know,
So shared power isn't top down power if we're thinking about it in just an easy way to visualize.
It might be about circular power.
But Pluto's now conjunct Juno and Altair,
And Juno represents commitment and partnership.
But Juneau represents sacred contracts as if there's vows or relational agreements that exist above and beyond space and time.
And in mythology,
You know,
Juno was the queen of the gods.
She was associated with marriage and with sovereignty.
And also,
You know,
She was associated with the complexity of relational power.
So she understood if we're talking about,
As I was talking about the notion of circular power,
That it's not just right or wrong,
Yes or no.
There's this understanding of the complex nature of things.
And when Pluto is conjunct Juno,
Our relationships and our commitments become the sites of transformation.
You know,
Pluto wants us to transform,
It wants us to continue to evolve.
So the agreements that we make,
Both personally as well as collectively,
These agreements are being invited and being asked,
And Pluto Pluto,
I don't want to use the word forced,
But.
Pluto's subtle energy and it's about.
Rebirth.
So we're being asked to evolve.
And Altair is,
You know,
The bright star in the constellation Aquila,
The eagle.
And the themes there are,
As you might expect,
They're about the higher level vision and courage and perspective and the ability to rise above.
So,
You know,
Altair is adding this quality of elevated awareness.
But also I would say bold vision.
And together.
You know,
Pluto,
Juno and Altair and Aquarius,
They suggest a transformation of the agreements that shape the future.
What are we committed to collectively?
How can we and how do we share power?
And also what kinds of partnerships can carry us into a new era.
And so all of this,
At the base of this yod,
Is funneling toward Venus in Virgo.
And that is profound because Venus in Virgo is not glamorous in an obvious way.
Or it's not sparkly,
Per se,
In the way that we're used to glitter and rhinestones and things like this,
Right?
I guess I could have said diamonds.
But,
You know,
It's not that type of sparkle.
It's about,
You know,
Venus and Virgo is devotional and precise.
And practical.
And she loves by attending to the details.
So if Neptune in Aries dreams the new vision.
And Pluto,
Juno,
Altair,
And Aquarius transform collective agreements.
Then Venus in Virgo asks,
How do we make this real in daily life?
How do we embody love?
Love in the largest sense,
Through practice.
And how do we serve the future?
How do we co-create the future through small acts of care?
Through those small acts that happen every moment of every day.
And oftentimes when maybe nobody's looking.
So the Yod suggests that destiny is not only unfolding through this grand collective change.
It's also unfolding through the way we tend the moment to moment,
The way we tend our routines,
The way we tend our values,
The way we tend our our bodies and our relationships and our service.
And that,
I hope you can feel,
Is a powerful message.
Because it reminds us,
It imports us,
That the future is not only built through vision,
It's built through devotion.
And I want to also highlight in this chart,
That's the big exclamation point of the chart.
But there's two minor triangles that are really worth kind of bringing this whole thing to a wonderful full circle.
We have the ongoing minor triangle that's been active for several months,
And that's with Uranus and Gemini trining Pluto and Aquarius with Neptune in areas at the apex of that minor triangle.
And,
You know,
This has become one of the major background signatures of 2026.
Uranus,
You know,
Awakening and innovation,
The lightning bolt of change,
Pluto,
Transformation and power,
Neptune,
You know,
Vision,
Spirituality and dissolution.
And together,
This minor triangle is really just suggesting that the outer planets,
As I like to call them,
The elders,
Are all gathered around a table,
Right?
They're communicating in harmony about the profound transformational times we're moving through.
And Uranus in Gemini is awakening the mind.
Pluto in Aquarius is transforming the collective.
And Neptune in Aries,
You know,
Receives and spiritualizes the action.
So this means that the times we're living in are absolutely not chaos without meaning.
We're living in an evolutionary moment.
And it's an ongoing pattern of consciousness shifting,
Of systems transforming,
And of a new form of spiritual courage emerging.
And,
You know,
We cannot talk about Uranus in Gemini without remembering that Uranus remains tightly conjunct to Sedna.
Sedna,
The distant trans-Neptunian body named after the Inuit sea goddess.
In the myth,
Sedna is betrayed and cast into the ocean and transformed through the descent.
She becomes the goddess of the deep sea and the mother and guardian of all the life forms that nourished the Inuit people.
And,
You know,
Astrologically Sedna is still speaking to us about deep unconscious material,
Potentially collective themes or those things that I think of and almost see in my mind's eye as the thought forms that if we keep doing the same thing we keep nourishing in the collective but you know that also maybe some of those things no longer serve right and so Sedna is speaking to themes of betrayal and abandonment and ancestral patterns.
And also,
You know,
From the themes of surrender.
The wisdom that emerges from the depths.
And,
You know,
Uranus in Sedna is absolutely awakening what has been buried or forgotten or somehow,
You know,
Through a few eons of time,
Not really forgotten,
But It's time for us to come back home.
And in Gemini this may come through information,
It may come through communication or just new perception,
Revelation.
And you know,
This remains one of the deepest long-term signatures in the sky.
It's saying that awakening is not only happening in the mind,
It's arising It's almost as if it's arising from the depths.
Of our awareness beneath or maybe even just well beyond the mind.
And so let's get next to the second minor triangle in this chart.
It is between Jupiter in Leo,
Neptune in Aries,
And Uranus conjunct part of Fortune in Gemini.
And this is a new thing,
And this is something that.
.
.
I'm not going to be talking about for a very long time because it's.
.
.
Very likely going to be different in a very short period of time.
And so,
You know,
Jupiter represents expansion and wisdom.
Jupiter expands whatever it touches,
Right?
And in Leo,
Jupiter is expanding creativity and heart-centered leadership and joy and courage and radiance.
And Neptune in Aries is bringing us vision and spiritual initiation and almost this sense of we're able to dream of a new beginning.
And at the apex of this minor triangle,
And I want to,
I've mentioned this before,
But just because the name is minor triangle,
I believe that minor triangles absolutely carry its subtle energy,
But it's as important as if it was a grand trine.
And we have an apex and minor triangle because it's not an isosceles triangle in the chart.
So the apex has Uranus conjunct the part of fortune in Gemini,
Along with Sedna.
But there's a very tight conjunction with the part of fortune.
And the part of fortune is,
As it sounds,
It's a calculated point.
And it's an ancient calculated point.
And it's associated with alignment and flow and embodied fortune.
And,
You know,
As the name sounds,
It's the place in life where we can feel supported when we are in right relationship.
With the energies of the moment.
So I would say here with the other energies of this chart of this new moon.
The part of fortune is saying there's a lot of good that's potential right now.
And Uranus conjunct the Part of Fortune suggests that breakthroughs,
New ideas,
And unexpected Uranian insights may become those pathways of enlightenment.
So,
You know,
The lightning bolt of change,
Uranus is aligning with the Part of Fortune saying there might be a sudden flash or that we'll have these realizations or experiences.
And,
You know,
In Gemini,
This may arrive through conversations,
Through learning,
Through expanding our understanding.
Community,
Connections,
And maybe even shifts of perception.
And,
You know,
This minor triangle suggests that,
You know,
Creativity,
Vision and awakening are absolutely working together.
Jupiter in Leo is saying,
You know,
Create.
Boldly.
Create with your heart,
But do so with courage.
With a big heart.
And Neptune in Aries is saying,
Begin from vision.
If we're going to take action.
It's a.
.
.
It's an outer planet action.
It's a bigger picture action.
And Uranus conjunct part of fortune in Gemini is saying,
Let the breakthrough speak.
So what's this chart really about?
At the center,
We have a cancer new moon.
She is asking us to begin again,
As she does every new moon,
But to begin through care and through emotional truth and through belonging.
But the chart is not simply soft,
As you now know.
You know,
Saturn and Aries is asking for maturity.
Uranus in Gemini is is asking for nervous system flexibility.
Venus in Virgo as the apex of that yacht is reminding us of themes of devotion and discernment Practical.
Expressions,
Heartfelt expressions,
The day-to-day understanding of every single thing we do,
The importance of it.
And the two minor triangles remind us that this lunation is a part of a much larger evolutionary pattern.
So the wisdom of this new moon,
You know,
Maybe it's that care is not passive.
The care is a practice.
It's a structure.
It's a commitment.
It's something that we return to.
Again and again.
In the choices that we make every moment of every day.
And so,
You know,
This Cancer New Moon is an invitation to begin again from the heart.
But to begin,
Not from reaction,
Right?
There was those themes of like,
We're not just reacting,
We're not getting from urgency or ego or performance,
Or even,
You know,
We're not just beginning from abstract ideas alone.
We're being invited to initiate from the felt understanding of what nourishes life.
That's the very cancerian theme and the,
You know,
The stellium in cancer is asking us to listen to memory and emotion and belonging.
And the Yod points us toward Venus and Virgo,
Reminding us that,
You know,
There's this idea of us offering love to the collective through this sense of devotion.
And devotion is the day-to-day small actions.
And the minor triangles are reminding us that the future is being shaped through many levels simultaneously.
Cosmic collective.
Deeply personal and relational as well,
Right?
So let's go ahead and get to a meditation.
And let's let the meditation be the opportunity for us to kind of shift gears a little bit,
You know,
Out of the mind and into the body.
So go ahead and find a space or a place where you can sit or lie comfortably where you won't be disturbed for the next little bit of time.
And close your eyes if that feels comfortable.
Check in that your spine is straight,
Whether you're seated or lying.
If you're seated,
Maybe let your hands rest softly in your lap.
Take a slow breath in through your nose.
And really feel that breath.
Feel the air enter into the nostrils.
Feel the ribcage rise.
As you exhale,
Release through the mouth and same thing,
Just really see if you can be,
Come here now,
Experience your body breathing.
Again,
Breathing in,
Slower,
Deeper inhale.
And exhale from the mouth,
Releasing the breath without effort.
One more time.
Nice,
Deep,
Easy breath in through the nose.
And take your time as you let the breath go.
And then go ahead and just allow the breath to return to its natural rhythm.
And see if you can really feel that there's nowhere else that you need to be right now.
That there's nothing you need to solve or there's nothing that you need to understand.
Just for this next little bit of time,
You're simply invited to be here now,
To be present.
Present within your body.
Present within your breath.
Within yourself.
Bring your awareness now to the places where your body is being supported.
Literally just feel the surface,
Connect to the surface beneath you.
And allow that connection to expand to.
.
.
Understand that you're ultimately supported by the soil that's beneath you.
That even gently,
The.
.
.
You're being held by the earth.
That the earth is supporting your weight,
The earth is supporting you energetically,
And there's this notion that you do not need to hold yourself up entirely on your own.
The earth is already holding you.
And see if you can allow yourself to receive that support.
Breathing in.
And breathing out and just receive that you're always held and nourished and supported.
And so this new moon in Cancer is reminding us.
Of the waters from which all life emerges.
The waters of the earth,
The waters of the body.
Water holds memory,
Water holds emotion.
So for a moment,
Just imagine yourself beside a gentle body of water.
You choose.
Maybe it's an ocean or a lake or a river.
Maybe even a quiet spring.
That's emerging from the earth.
There's no need to choose consciously.
Simply allow the landscape to appear to you.
And notice as you do,
The quality of the light.
The temperature of the air.
Maybe you can take the time to listen.
If the water is moving,
Connect to the sound of the water.
And allow yourself to sit beside it.
This gentle body of water.
Water does not ask.
Permission to move.
It follows the contours of the land.
It fills every container.
It gathers.
It flows.
It rests.
It rises and returns.
Take a moment to.
.
.
Entertainer.
Contemplate that your emotional life has its own intelligence as well.
That we do not have to understand every feeling or explain every sensation.
Nor do we have to transform every single emotion into a lesson.
That sometimes you can simply allow yourself to feel.
And go ahead and take another slow breath in,
Breathing through your nose.
And ask yourself gently,
What is moving within me now?
Just release the breath through the mouth.
What is moving within me now?
There's not a need to search for an answer.
Just simply notice.
It might come across as a feeling or an image or a memory.
Also,
Empty space and nothing at all are totally okay.
See if you can allow whatever is present to be enough.
And now bring your awareness to the center of your chest,
To your heart center.
And just imagine a soft warmth,
Excuse me,
Beginning there.
That soft warmth is a steady light within you.
It's your heart light.
It's your heart center.
And as you're connecting to this soft,
Warm light,
See if you can acknowledge that this light does not need to become any bigger or any brighter.
Simply just notice that it's present.
Notice that it's there.
A quiet presence of your own heart.
Breathing and listening and receiving energy and information all the time.
Cancer teaches us that nourishment begins with listening.
Because before we can care for something.
We must notice it.
Before we can nourish something,
We must first recognize what it needs.
So as you're connecting to the soft light at the center of your chest,
Your heart center,
Entertain the question,
What would nourish me right now?
Not what's going to make you more productive or more impressive.
And not what you believe you should want,
Just simply.
.
.
What would truly nourish me?
Perhaps the answer is rest,
Or maybe it's movement.
Maybe it's a conversation or a boundary or a beginning.
Just allow the answer to be simple.
What would truly nourish me in this moment?
Of time.
And just see if you can allow the answer to be simple.
And now imagine that you're holding this need gently in your hands.
You do not have to solve your entire life today.
You are simply listening.
You're simply attending.
Listening itself is a form of care.
And as we now know,
The astrology of this new moon also points towards Venus and Virgo and toward the quiet devotion of the small things.
Virgo reminds us that love is not only something we feel,
It is something that we practice.
And it lives in those.
Seemingly unimportant things.
Small things.
The message sent at the right moment.
The appointment kept.
The body listened to.
The small things that are attended to consistently.
So I want to invite you next to bring to mind one small act of care that you can offer yourself.
During this next lunar cycle.
Only want something simple,
Something real,
Something possible.
What one small act of care can you offer yourself?
And just let one small act come to you.
And imagine yourself now doing this small thing.
See,
Visualize yourself making space for it.
Not perfectly,
Not every day,
But with devotion,
With intention,
And with care.
And I want to invite you next to silently repeat if it resonates for you the following.
I honor what nourishes me.
Receive that.
I honor what nourishes me.
I listen to the wisdom of my heart.
Maybe even place one or both hands over your chest as you say that.
I listen to the wisdom of my heart.
And finally,
I allow care to become a practice.
I allow care to become a practice.
And now take a slow breath in.
And release.
And now return your imagination to the water that you're seated beside.
Notice that the surface may have changed or perhaps the light is different.
Maybe the water's moving or maybe it's completely still.
And notice that you do not need to know exactly where the water is going per se.
You only need to trust that it knows how to move.
And this is a part of the deeper invitation of this new moon.
We are living through extraordinary times of change.
There are new ideas emerging,
New ways of relating and communicating and new structures forming.
And yet many things we cannot.
Fully see yet.
So see if you can just rest with this notion that you do not need to understand the entire future,
That you do not need to know exactly what comes next.
But that you can listen for the next.
And imagine now that somewhere beyond the water,
The horizon is beginning to brighten.
You cannot yet see the entire landscape beyond the water,
But you can see enough.
Enough for the next step.
Enough for today,
Enough for this moment.
And just ask yourself gently,
What am I ready to nourish?
What am I ready to tent?
What small act of devotion might quietly change my energy,
My life?
And as you ask,
Allow those questions to remain open.
They don't need immediate answers.
You know,
Some questions,
Especially at this time of this new moon,
Are more like seats.
They need darkness and water and time.
And this is absolutely the wisdom of this new moon that You know,
We plant before we can see it.
We tend before we know exactly what's going to happen when it grows.
And that we trust the intelligence of life itself.
So if you haven't already set your hands on your heart,
I invite you to do so now if that feels comfortable to you.
And first,
Just feel the warmth of your hands.
And then feel the movement of your.
Of your body beneath your hands.
Maybe feel the rise and fall of your chest or feel the beating of your heart.
And go ahead and just receive or repeat as we're bringing this meditation to a close.
I am allowed to receive with care.
I am allowed to receive care.
I am allowed to create a life that nourishes me.
Receive that,
Feel that.
I am allowed to create.
A life that nourishes me.
My small acts of devotion matter.
And finally,
I trust what is beginning.
Go ahead and take a deeper breath now.
Breathe in through your nose and feel the air filling your lungs.
Exhale slowly through your mouth.
And just begin to notice your body again.
The surface beneath you,
The room around you.
The sounds near and far.
And if you'd like,
Gently move your fingers,
Maybe your toes.
And before you open your eyes,
Take one final moment to remember that the future is not only created through dramatic moments,
It's created through what we tend.
What we nourish and what we return to again and again.
And may this Cancer New Moon remind you that care is not a distraction from the important work of your life.
That care is absolutely part of it.
And sometimes the smallest act becomes the beginning of an entirely new world.
Go ahead and take one final breath in.
Gently release.
When you're ready,
Open your eyes.
Welcome back and have a blessed day.
Blessed Lunar Cycle,
New Moon,
I am grateful for you for joining me and cheers to the beautiful,
Bright future that we are absolutely co-creating together.
Bright blessings and so much love.
