Finding a comfortable seat,

Somewhere where you feel connected to the earth,

Your feet,

Your sit bones,

Or perhaps you're even lying down.

And when you find that comfortable place,

Take a deep breath in,

Drawing in that life force energy as you exhale,

Releasing anything that no longer serves.

Just notice what you notice.

All the textures of this moment,

The smells,

The sounds,

Taste in your mouth,

The temperature on your skin.

Baladhu if,

I am if,

Waladhu wirajari waladhu,

I am moorajari.

Joining me for daddidi,

Deep listening,

Deep contemplation,

Meditation.

Take a full breath in through your nose.

Now maybe open the mouth.

Imagine you are sitting at the base of your favorite tree,

Grandmother and grandfather trees connected to the earth,

And starting to feel as if you have roots growing down into the earth,

Finding nourishment and nutrients.

You are feeling connected to the earth,

Just like the trees,

Housing insects,

Birds and animals.

Taking a breath in through your nose.

Exhale out through your nose.

Allowing your roots to grow down,

Down,

Down,

Deep into the earth,

Past the grass,

The dirt,

The rock,

The water,

Crystal,

Molten,

All the way down,

Roots spreading far and wide,

Connecting to other roots of trees,

Fungi,

All the way until you get to the core of Mother Earth's heart.

And this is where you will sit,

Connecting your own heart with hers.

Perhaps you can start to feel your own heartbeat,

That very first sound that you heard inside your mother's womb.

Take another breath in,

Exhaling completely.

This is where I will acknowledge Country,

This land that I'm joining you from today,

Buanjalung Nation,

The Minjimbu Clan.

I would like to take a moment to give thanks for this symbiotic relationship the First Nations people of this land have with nature.

Acknowledging elders of the past who paved the way for us.

Acknowledging elders here with me today,

The wisdom.

And of the youth that will one day be elders.

Perhaps you would like to acknowledge the land that you are meeting me on today.

As we sit here in circle,

No one is in front or behind.

We are all equal.

Notice what you notice.

Feel what you feel.

Allowing this energy from the mother's heart to come up,

Come all the way back up to the surface,

All the way back up through the root system,

Back to where you're sitting on the earth,

Connecting this energy all the way up into your heart,

Nugabu.

Taking a breath in through your nose.

Breathing that life force energy in and exhaling,

Releasing.

Taking this nugabu,

This heart energy with you,

With you into your day.

Starting to bring little movements in your fingers and your toes.

Starting to bring yourself back.

Opening your eyes.

Thank you for listening.
