Snuggle down deep into your bed,

Get nice and cozy.

Maybe pull your covers up,

Feel your head snuggling into your pillow.

And maybe as you settle,

There's a deep sigh.

Maybe some stretching,

Just a signal to your body that it's time to slow down.

So wherever you are in the world,

That part of the world is going to sleep,

And so are you.

But first,

Listen to all that you can hear,

Both in this recording,

But also in the room that you're in.

And what if all of these sounds that are present for you right now,

Can you hear the sound of your breath?

What if every exhale,

Every out-breath brought you closer to your bed,

Closer to the earth,

Like your own out-breath was tucking you in for the night?

And bring your awareness right to your heart center,

Center of your chest,

And take a moment just to listen in to this space.

Maybe bring a slight smile to your face,

And imagine if you will,

That right at this space,

A little fairy appears.

And she has come to bring you moonlight,

As the day turns to night,

And darkness grows,

She wanted to give you a little bit of moonlight to keep you shining through your sleep.

So imagine that this little fairy is sprinkling moonlight over your head,

Each hair on your head glistening,

A little moonlight over your eyes,

And your nose,

And your mouth,

Your cheeks,

And your ears.

Moonlight down along your neck and over your shoulders,

Down your right arm and your left,

Over your left fingertips,

In between each of the fingers and the thumb,

And down along the right arm,

The right fingertips,

The spaces in between,

And the right thumb.

Moonlight over the heart,

Over your belly and your ribs,

To your hips,

Your pelvis,

And down along your legs,

Right and left,

And the left foot and the right.

Sprinkling moonlight over the right toes and the left,

Moonlight over your whole body,

Your whole body now shimmering in the light of the moon.

And the fairy makes her way back to your heart space,

She softly lands,

Spreads out her wings,

Gives you a little bow,

Wishes you sweet dreams.

And then she flies back from where she came from,

Back up to the moon,

Up past the stars,

And she curls up on the moon,

She folds her wings in,

She closes her eyes.

And she goes to sleep.

Sweet dreams.
