A warm welcome.
And as a way to start,
Let's invite your body to tell you,
Is there a position or a small shift,
A small change in position that you can allow that may make you feel just maybe a little bit more comfortable than you were before?
And as a way to enter into some grounding practices,
Maybe you may wish to invite your attention to look into all the places where your body is touching the surfaces that are providing support.
Notice that the body is touching the surfaces and the surfaces are touching back.
There is nothing you need to do to support your own weight.
The surfaces are willing to do that for you.
See if you can,
In a sense,
Trust the surfaces.
Allow them to take care of you.
And see if this opening may allow you to maybe just a little bit of letting go.
And now I invite you to meet and feel the aliveness in your body.
You may feel temperature,
Heat,
Vibration,
Pulsation,
Maybe some tingling.
Every cell in your body is animated by this mysterious and yet undeniable life force.
Take a few moments to just see how this life force feels like.
It's not something you're doing.
There would be no possibility to do anything if this life force weren't there.
So just stay with it.
This primal and mysterious energy,
This life,
This life which in this very moment is living through you,
Is expressing itself through you as a unique and valuable expression.
And I invite you to tell yourself,
I am a unique and valued expression of life.
In this and every moment,
Life is leaving me with purpose,
Meaning and value.
I really invite you just to stay for a moment with this shift of perspective.
Is it possible that it is not you who lives your life,
But instead it is life living through you?
See if this,
How does this land on you?
Life living through you,
Something mysterious,
Well beyond what you can understand,
What you can know,
What you can do,
What you can figure out.
And yet it is here,
And you are a valuable and unique expression of life.
Is it possible that it is not what you do which gives your life purpose,
Value,
But there is purpose and value just because you are?
Notice if these words may resonate in you,
May land somehow in you,
Maybe inviting some somatic shift.
And see if you can allow that relaxation that comes spontaneously.
If you recognize that it's not what you do,
That is the most important thing.
Is simply that you are.
Life is living through you right now.
Everything you need will be given to you when you will need it.
But you are allowed and invited to sit back,
Allowing yourself to disengage and unhook from many movements which I'm sure have been entertaining you for a long time.
Have you been following some thought patterns?
Have you been trying to solve something?
Have you been trying to achieve something?
To make happen something that is not happening?
Have you been fighting some emotional or mental state?
Have you been trying to make things different from what they are?
See if you can allow yourself to take a break from all that and rest back,
Simply being.
Nowhere to go,
Nothing to do,
Nothing to figure out or understand,
Nothing to find,
Get,
Construct.
Simply fall back,
Way,
Way back.
In a sense,
Your job now is to completely relax and allow life to flow through you.
I always loved to remember something that Jesus said.
He said,
Not my will,
But thy will.
I invite you to allow those words to come to you.
Is it possible to make a shift from your will and all those actions,
Activities,
Thoughts into God's will?
Not as something that you need to struggle to figure out,
But as something that you are invited to allow,
Not to resist against.
See if you can rest.
This is not something you can figure out.
The deeper your rest,
The more your opening will be,
And the more God's will will have space to be expressed through you.
Not my will,
But thy will.
And as we start to come back into a fully awake state of consciousness,
You might wonder,
Is there any intention,
Any desire that maybe is emerging now and can follow you into your moment-to-moment,
Day-to-day life?
And I am grateful for the time we have to spend together,
And I wish joy will come to you,
Maybe even completely unexpected.
Thank you.
