Welcome to Take A5,

A collection of short five-minute meditations dedicated to create a brief yet meaningful pause in your day.

Give yourself this gift of rest,

Resilience,

Renewal,

And presence whenever you need it most.

Rest.

Take a moment to pause,

Reconnecting with the breath,

Deep inhale in,

And exhaling out.

Whatever has been happening in your day,

Whatever pace that you've been moving at,

Let it all slow down.

Feel your breath entering,

And feel the breath leaving.

And then,

As if you're watching waves,

Arrive at the shore,

And then pull gently back into the ocean.

On your next inhale,

Breathe deep into the belly,

And on your exhale,

Release the breath like a slow,

Steady sigh.

Once again,

Inhaling gently through the nose,

And now sighing the breath out.

Imagine all the noise,

The tension,

The mental clutter,

Emptying out through that exhale,

As if the body is clearing out a crowded room.

Now,

Bring your attention to the space right between the eyebrows,

The center of clarity.

In your mind's eye,

Imagine a warm glow forming there.

With each successive breath,

Let that glow widen,

Spreading peace across the forehead,

Down the face,

Into the throat,

And across your chest.

Let this gentle warmth move through you,

Like a quiet wave washing away chaos,

And leaving behind stillness.

Now imagine yourself standing in the center of a calm landscape.

Feel the stillness of that place surrounding you.

Let it mirror itself inside of you.

Taking the opportunity now to whisper softly in your mind,

I return to calm.

I return to me.

I return to calm.

I return to me.

And together,

Let's take one final full breath in through the nose,

And a gentle exhale out.
