One Minute Magic - Reiki (2) Activating The Energy

In part 2 of her micro-series on Reiki, Estelle teaches you how to activate and feel the energy that is used to heal and then to visualise a white light flowing into your hands. The more you practise this the easier it becomes and the stronger is the connection.

Reiki, Feeling the energy. So let's activate the energy. Make sure you are really comfortable either sitting or lying. Gently close your eyes. Take a few full breaths in and long slow breaths out. Using your hands, Palm to palm, Lightly rub them together. Feel the warmth and the tingle of energy in your fingers and palms. Gently pull your hands apart and back together. Feel the energy stretch and expand. Picture a soft white light entering your body through the crown of your head and flowing down into your hands. Feel the heat and energy intensify. Place your hands against your cheek and feel it.
