Welcome to the first activity in Estelle's 14 part micro-series on using your imagination to creatively visualise good health, happiness and positive outcomes. We start by studying and then mentally visualising a very familiar part of your body... your hand. The more you practise this the easier it will become.

Transcript

Let's start with something you know quite well,

Your hands.

With your eyes open,

Study your non-dominant hand,

Palm up,

The overall shape,

The palm,

The fingers,

The veins,

The lines,

Any jewellery that you may be wearing.

Commit the image to memory.

Now close your eyes and see it on the internal screen of your mind.

Open your eyes and compare the accuracy.

This time study the back of your hand,

Then close your eyes and see it on the internal screen of your mind.

Keeping your eyes closed,

Now picture your hand closing into a fist.

And opening.
