He did his first Vipassana meditation retreat at the age of 20 in Bodhgaya, India, and came home with a quest for calm. His bass-y, baritone voice has been described as "like velvet honey," and "like a warm hug all around your body," and his audience always leaves calm and ready for a dreamy sleep. He uses yoga and meditation to help deal with tinnitus, depression and anxiety and hopes to help others find the support he has found in this community.
