Find a comfortable and quiet place to sit or lie down.
Place your hands on your lap with your palms facing up.
Now close your eyes and take a few deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth,
Focusing on your breath as it enters and leaves your body.
Imagine a warm and bright white light surrounding you.
This light is full of love and reiki healing energy.
Allow this warm light to flow into your body and fill you up,
Calming your mind and relaxing your muscles.
As you continue to breathe deeply,
Bring your attention to any areas of tension or discomfort in your body.
Imagine the white light flowing into these areas and soothing and relaxing any tension.
Now in your head,
Say the following affirmations.
I am at peace.
I am safe and protected.
I am loved and supported.
We are now going to begin a body scan.
Now bring your attention to the top of your head or your crown chakra.
Imagine your crown chakra spinning and a warm golden light flowing into your scalp,
Relaxing every muscle and cell.
As you continue to breathe deeply,
Move your attention down to your forehead between your eyebrows or your third eye.
Imagine the warm golden light and relaxation flowing in this area.
Your chakra is spinning,
Releasing any tension or stress and calming your mind and vision.
As you move your attention to your neck or your throat chakra,
Completely relax your mouth and your tongue,
Releasing any tension or clenching.
Imagine the warm golden light and relaxation flowing into your throat chakra.
Your chakra is spinning,
Releasing any tension or stiffness.
Slowly move your attention to your heart or your heart chakra.
Imagine the warm golden light and relaxation flowing into your heart chakra.
Your chakra is spinning,
Releasing any tension or stress and letting love in.
Now slowly move your attention to the top of your stomach or your solar plexus chakra.
Imagine the warm golden light and relaxation flowing into your solar plexus chakra.
Your chakra is spinning and releasing any tension or stress that you may have.
Now slowly move your attention to your belly button or your sacral chakra.
Imagine the warm golden light and relaxation flowing into your sacral chakra.
Your chakra is spinning,
Releasing any tension or stress that you may have.
Slowly move your attention to the base of your spine or your root chakra.
Imagine the warm golden light and relaxation flowing into your root chakra.
Your chakra is spinning,
Releasing any tension or stress,
And you are feeling more and more grounded as the light embraces you.
With your body fully relaxed,
You are going to go on a journey.
Imagine yourself standing in a beautiful meadow surrounded by tall grass and wildflowers.
The sun is shining down on your skin,
And you feel the warmth of its rays.
You take a few deep breaths and take in the sweet aroma that fills the air.
Take a moment to appreciate the colors and smells around you.
You start to walk through the meadow,
Feeling the soft grass beneath your feet.
As you walk,
You notice an animal heading towards a small stream.
What animal do you see,
And what does it do to you?
You begin to follow the animal,
And you are soon standing by the edge of a beautiful stream.
The water is calm and clear,
And you kneel by the stream.
As you gaze into the calm water,
You feel a sense of inner peace and clarity come over you.
You look into the water and see your reflection staring back at you.
As you continue to gaze into the water,
You begin to see something else taking shape.
This might be a symbol,
An object,
Or a message.
Whatever it is,
Allow yourself to fully immerse in the experience and take in what you see.
Allow yourself to fully feel the emotions that come up for you as you continue to gaze into the water and trust your inner wisdom.
You look up,
And you see someone walking towards you.
It might be a loved one,
A friend,
Or a mentor.
Whoever it is,
Allow yourself to fully feel the presence of this person and the connection you have with them.
As they approach you,
They place an object in your hand.
What is the object,
And what do you do with it?
As they walk away into the distance,
You slowly lie down in the meadow,
The soft,
Fragrant petals of the flowers and the cool green blades of grass brushing against your skin as you lie there.
Create a feeling of being embraced and supported by Mother Earth.
The Earth beneath you is stable and solid,
Providing a sense of security,
And you are feeling fully grounded.
While you lay still,
The combination of the warm sun,
The cool air,
And the sounds and smells of the natural world contribute to a sense of balance and harmony within you,
And you feel revitalized and rejuvenated.
When you are ready,
You are going to return to the present moment.
Take a few deep breaths,
Feeling grateful and rejuvenated.
Slowly begin to wiggle your fingers and toes and gently start to move your body.
Take a moment to acknowledge the peace and clarity you have found within yourself before slowly opening your eyes.
