Welcome to your meditation.
As part of the Balancing Your Brain series,
We will be focusing on three chakra balancing meditations,
And this is one of them.
During these meditations,
You will be directing your attention to your three internal brains,
Which include your third eye chakra,
Or mind,
The heart chakra,
Or heart,
And your solar plexus chakra,
Or your gut.
The concept of the three brains refers to the idea that our nervous system is made up of three primary centres of intelligence,
Each with its own unique characteristics and functions.
These three brains are the head brain,
Also known as the neocortex,
Or thinking brain,
Responsible for conscious thought,
Reason,
And logic.
Then there is the heart brain,
Known as the cardiac plexus,
Or feeling brain,
Responsible for emotions,
Intuition,
And the perception of subtle energy.
Finally,
The gut brain,
Known as the enteric plexus,
Or survival brain,
Responsible for instinct,
Reflexes,
And bodily functions,
Like digestion.
Together,
These three brains work in harmony to regulate our thoughts,
Emotions,
And bodily functions,
Helping us to adapt and respond to the world around us.
So let's begin.
So before we begin,
I want you to find a quiet,
Peaceful place where you won't be disturbed.
You can sit on a chair,
Be cross-legged in lotus position on the floor,
If it makes you feel comfortable and warm.
If you experience any thoughts or distractions,
Simply notice them,
And then return your focus to my words and the soothing,
Reiki healing energy.
Now close your eyes and take a few deep breaths,
In through your nose and out through your mouth,
Focusing on your breath as it enters and leaves your body.
And again,
In through your nose and out through your mouth.
I want you to do that for a few more seconds.
Imagine a warm and bright surrounding your body.
This light is full of love and comforting reiki healing energy.
Now repeat the following affirmation in your head.
I'm now channeling reiki energy through my crown chakra and into my body.
Allow this warm light to flow into your body,
Calming your mind and relaxing your muscles.
Let the warm light fill your body and slowly remove any stress or areas of tension or discomfort in your body.
As you continue to breathe deeply,
Feel a wave of relaxation go down your body,
From your head all the way to your toes.
Now focus your attention on your solar plexus chakra located at the top of your navel or your stomach.
Visualize a beautiful and warm yellow sunlight radiating into your stomach.
Take a moment to feel the warming energy filling you up and feel your solar plexus chakra spinning.
As you place your attention on your stomach,
How does it feel to you?
If your stomach could speak,
What would it say to you?
Think about any experiences or feelings you're holding in your stomach that may be causing you pain.
We are now going to focus on releasing that pain.
Continue to visualize the warm and soothing yellow sunlight radiating your stomach.
This light will slowly heal your stomach,
Clearing any patterns of fear,
Limitation,
Worry or guilt you hold within.
As you feel the yellow light filling your stomach with healing energy,
In your head you are going to say clear three times.
Clear,
Clear.
This warm and soothing yellow light will slowly help fill you with faith,
Confidence and self-esteem,
Clearing any difficulties you have in digesting life and absorbing new information and giving you inner strength and resilience.
As you feel the warm yellow light filling your stomach with healing energy,
In your head you are going to say clear three times.
Clear,
Clear,
Clear.
This warm and soothing yellow light will slowly help you welcome in joy,
Peace and well-being and clear any difficulty you have in expressing yourself and going for what you want in life.
As you feel the warm yellow light filling your stomach,
In your head say clear three times.
Clear,
Clear,
Clear.
Now as you take some calm deep breaths,
In and out,
Imagine that warm yellow light flowing into your solar plexus chakra and growing stronger and brighter,
Flowing into your body and filling you with peace,
Love and joy.
Your body is feeling lighter and more relaxed.
You are now going to give thanks to your stomach,
Repeating the following in your dear stomach.
I want to thank you,
You've been with me through some of my most anxious moments,
Worries and fears and guiding me towards the right decision.
I'm thankful for your resilience and being able to bear the weight of my emotions.
Thank you for reminding me of the joys of eating and the simple pleasures of nourishing my body.
You help me feel satisfied and content even when things are tough.
You give me the energy I need to take control and face my challenges head on.
You are an integral part of who I am and I promise to continue to take care of you in the future.
Now as you take some calming deep breaths,
In and out,
Imagine the warm yellow light flowing into your solar plexus chakra,
Growing stronger and brighter,
Flowing into your body and filling you with abundance and contentment.
Your body is feeling lighter and more relaxed.
You are now going to say the following healing affirmation.
I am filled with optimism and confidence,
Attracting positivity.
I am capable and I have a lot to offer others.
I am empowered and destined for greatness.
Now focus your attention on the warming reiki healing energy surrounding your body.
Imagine you are breathing this radiant white light in through your nose.
Let it fill your entire body and radiate from your stomach as you breathe out.
As you continue to imagine this,
Feel relaxing and warming sensations in your body,
Allowing you to become fully absorbed.
The following bell will take you deeper into your healing meditation.
You are slowly going to come to the end of your solar plexus healing meditation.
Slowly begin to move your fingers and toes.
Slowly rotate your mouth and take three deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth.
Now take your time and when you're ready,
Slowly open your eyes and gently stretch your body.
You are feeling revitalized and refreshed,
Glowing with gratitude and self-assurance,
Empowering you to tackle anything this world throws your way.
Place your hands on the top of your stomach and say,
I am content and I love you.
Spend a few moments reflecting on the experience and how you felt during the meditation.
You can repeat this meditation as often as you like to help strengthen your connection to your solar plexus chakra,
Your stomach and the energy of Reiki.
