Please find a comfortable position in which you can do this meditation.
When you are comfortable,
Please close your eyes and take a deep breath,
Allowing your body to relax and release any tension.
Softly remind yourself that fear is simply an emotion,
And like all emotions,
It has the power to change and dissipate.
I'd like you to think back to your past.
Think of all of the things that you've overcome,
Perhaps there are significant moments in your life that you're proud of,
That you manage to face and really take control of and own.
Hold on to those moments,
Think about them for a moment.
Those moments of strength and resilience are still within you,
And you can use that inner power to propel you forward in a direction that you choose.
Anything is possible with you if you stand up and believe.
So what I want you to do now is close your eyes and just imagine yourself surrounded by a bright white light.
This white light represents your courage,
And it is emanating out of your body and surrounding you like an aura.
Use this aura to walk through any situation you have coming up.
Perhaps you have something which you are fearful of,
Which you are struggling to overcome in your mind.
I'd like you to take some time imagining yourself with this aura,
Walking through that event and overcoming it,
And then think of a positive outcome.
If you can do that then I can guarantee you'll feel more hopeful for what is to come.
Hope is one of the most beautiful things you can hold onto through fear,
Because with hope brings opportunity.
With courage as your guide,
Take a step forward and trust that you are supported and protected on this journey.
I would like you to imagine yourself walking along a pathway towards a cave.
You enter this cave and notice the cave is glimmering with bright crystals shining upon you.
Your aura is attracting the energy from these crystals,
And these different colours of the crystals are really penetrating your aura and filling you with different colours.
Each colour represents a different form of strength.
The strength of forgiveness,
The strength of willingness,
The strength of perseverance.
There are so many types of strengths that are filling you in this moment,
And whatever strength you need to summon for what is to come is now entering your body.
Really envision this energy entering you and powering you up,
Almost like it's charging you.
You now feel revitalised and energised in this moment,
And you step out of this cave and look towards the sky.
As you look up you notice that it is night time,
The day has passed,
And you look above and you see twinkling stars shining their light upon you.
Your aura now begins to absorb their energy,
And as this energy penetrates into your skin and throughout your body,
You feel the strength of your ancestors filling you.
It reminds you of the resilience and the power and the strength that they had to present within their lives in order for you to be here today.
They had to overcome war,
Famine,
Disease,
So many different things so you could be here today.
You feel a sense of pride and you feel their energy in this moment.
You take a seat and look at the stars and continue to let in this energy.
I would like you to gently open your eyes and just become present of the room around you.
Take a few moments to sit with this newfound sense of courage and empowerment.
Begin to wiggle your fingers and toes and notice any sensations in your body.
Become truly present in this moment.
You can carry this sense of courage with you throughout your day or into your night,
Knowing that you have the power to face and triumph over any fear that comes your way.
Remember,
You are a beacon of bravery,
And the unknown is not to be feared,
But embraced.
Trust yourself,
Trust the process,
And step into the incredible possibilities that awaits you.
