Today?
Thoughts are focusing on being.
Present.
Arriving in this moment and shouting out,
I'm here.
I matter.
I am capable.
I am connected.
I am resourceful.
I am strong.
And ultimately.
.
.
That I can be me.
And let me be.
The whole aspect of the Let Them Theory with Mel Robbins.
Is so true.
Because we can only control ourselves.
We can only control our own interactions,
Our own emotions,
Our own thoughts.
We cannot control others.
And it's important not to.
Because we are all unique in our own ways.
In different ways.
In the sense of our true authentic selves.
We all matter.
So I really want today to be an empowering moment for you.
And if you're finding,
Gosh,
Like,
I just can't seem.
To be.
How I'm supposed to,
How society needs me.
I feel like everyone is constantly judging me or things are coming up constantly.
And I can't seem to show up,
Show up as my true authentic self.
I want you to pause.
I want you to place your hand on your chest.
Say it to yourself.
I'm here.
Try it.
And I will too.
Now we're going to keep our hand on our chest and we're going to say,
I matter.
So again.
Say,
I'm here.
I matter.
And the next one is going to be,
Let Me Be.
But for all of the fans out there that watch The Breakfast Club,
At the end of the film when he's walking on the football field,
He raises his arm up in the air.
I want you to say,
Let me be and put your fist up all the way in the air.
Let me be.
How does that feel?
How do you feel now?
That you've given yourself a moment.
To truly be.
What comes up for you.
Truly.
I want you to ask yourself.
What do I need?
In this moment.
Let it come to you.
Pause if you need.
And then adding to that.
What do I want?
In this moment.
So the first one,
What do I need in this moment?
And then adding to it.
You're going to ask.
What do I want in this moment?
An example?
Could be,
I need a drink of water.
A want.
Might be silence.
It might be turning on your favorite song.
So asking yourself those two questions.
How does your body feel?
Does it feel stressed?
Does it feel tense?
Do you feel your shoulders all the way up to your ears?
Or do you feel your shoulders released?
Do you feel your jaw relaxed?
Do you feel your chest open and free?
Is there some relaxation in your hips?
Are you feeling lighter?
Take this time.
It only takes a moment.
Literally one moment.
Can change the trajectory of your life.
My favorite quote.
By the famous Henry David Thoreau.
Is go confidently in the direction of your dreams.
Who live the life.
You've imagined.
With gratitude.
Amanda.
