Hello and welcome back to Unleash Your Peace,
My name is Ali Shoja,
I am your host,
I am a positive mindset coach,
A personal transformation expert,
A deliberate creator and your peace trainer.
And Unleash Your Peace is your peace training every single week,
We dive into a different aspect of the internal world,
We do that over the course of 5 episodes published Monday through Friday.
And the episodes are super short and sweet,
They're about 10 minutes each and that is intentional so that you don't have to commit so much time and you have something thought provoking and uplifting at the start of your day that you can listen to on your drive,
On your walk that can take you inward so that you can start shedding all of this excess weight of this unwanted pain you're carrying and actually tap into the inner peace,
That lasting internal peace,
That joy,
That happiness that resides within you so you can live your best life yet.
And we live from this place of joy and peace and connectedness to our infinite beingness,
That non-physical,
That holds all of our potential.
We don't just incrementally improve the quality of our lives,
We actually exponentially innovate every aspect of our experiences on this physical plane.
We become whole,
We become powerful creators and we live essentially the lives of our dreams,
We create our lives deliberately and that trickles out into our families,
Our communities,
Into the world and next thing you know we're leveling up as a human race which is my wish for every one of us.
Now this week we are talking about integrity and today I want to talk about specifically the relationship between integrity and leadership.
If you are a leader,
If you have a company,
You're an entrepreneur,
You are in some kind of a leadership position at your work or in your community,
At your job,
Wherever it is,
At your company,
Within your friends,
Circling your family,
Whatever it is,
It is absolutely essential to have a habit of integrity in place and I'll tell you why because the interesting thing is if you look at a flat organization where maybe let's say it's you and your friends or you within your family or it's you and your church or you're at a bar or wherever it is,
You're at your job and all of you have the same title,
What happens is something really quite fascinating.
The person who demonstrates integrity usually is seen as some kind of an authority figure or a leader and that is because it builds trust and it builds respect to live in integrity.
So if you demonstrate integrity,
Chances are people in your community,
People around you are going to start seeing you as a role model and they're going to start seeing you as a leader and they're going to come to you with their questions because now they trust you,
They know you are a trustworthy individual.
The inverse of that is true too.
How many times have you had a boss or someone superior,
Somebody who's above you as far as power or rank goes and because they demonstrated a lack of integrity because you could no longer trust their word,
They were not their word,
How quickly do you lose respect for that person?
How quickly do you lose trust in that person and how quickly do you start seeing them not as a leader?
The answer is very,
Very quickly and by the way,
I have been on both sides of that scenario.
I've been in a leadership position where I have lost the trust of people because I promised something and I didn't deliver it and I didn't communicate that I wasn't going to be able to deliver it at a certain time and that lost trust and I've been in a position where I'm completely the same as everybody else but because I demonstrated the ability to have integrity because people trusted my word,
They naturally put me in a leadership position and the thing about leadership positions,
Let's say you are an entrepreneur,
You have a company or you are a manager and you have people working underneath you,
The thing that is really powerful about living and operating from a place of 100% integrity is that integrity,
Just like anything else within an organization trickles from the top down.
The culture,
The personality,
The attitude,
The habits of an organization come from the top down.
If you have workaholic at the top,
You are going to have workaholics at the bottom,
If you have somebody who complains about other people at the top,
You're going to have people at the bottom who complain about other people,
If you have someone who places blame at the top,
You're going to have people at the bottom who places blame and if you have somebody of integrity at the top,
You're going to have people who demonstrates integrity at the bottom.
It is just the thing that happens.
The culture of an organization,
Of a company,
Always trickles down from the top.
So if you are in a leadership position,
The best way,
The most effective way to increase efficiency within your organization and to improve your output within that organization and to create the outcomes that you actually want within your company is by demonstrating integrity and making a point of implementing a culture of integrity within your company.
So incredibly powerful and this also shows you how much our internal world is related to our external world.
The macro is always a reflection of the micro.
If there's something wrong in the big picture,
In the big organization,
If there's a divide,
If there is unaccountability,
If there is a lack of trust,
If there's a lot of blame,
All you have to do is look at the individuals at the top of that organization.
So what that means is if you want to affect the macro,
If you want to change the culture of an entire organization,
No matter how large it is,
If you want to change the effectiveness of it,
If you want to change the personality and the attitude of it,
If you want to do that,
You have to implement different ways of being a different culture.
You have to take on a different attitude from the top.
So it is your leadership team that has to implement these changes first and that can trickle down to everybody else within the organization.
Very,
Very important connection between leadership and integrity because ultimately if you are living a life of integrity,
If you are somebody who wants to be the best version of yourself that you can possibly be,
The chances are you also have an idea,
You have a project,
You have a business that impacts the lives of others.
And if you are in this place of leadership,
Then you are in the perfect place to impact the lives that come in contact with yours in a very positive way.
And one of the easiest,
Most tangible ways you can do that is by being in integrity all the time.
Your word becomes law when you live in this way.
You can literally create anything and those around you will know that when you say something,
They listen,
People listen because they know you are speaking the truth and that your word is going to come to pass.
This is how we step into the powerful beings that we are.
This is how we become whole and complete.
And my wish for you is to be as powerful as you can possibly be.
Your power is infinite and living in integrity is one way you can step into the powerful being that you are.
And my wish for you is to achieve and have and do and be everything that you desire,
That you wish for,
That you imagine in your mind because I know that is when you are co-creating with the divine within yourself.
Really important discussion about integrity.
I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.
I hope you will take it to heart.
You'll look into Dr.
Michael Jensen's research.
His work is what inspired this topic.
Really exciting and inspiring stuff.
I mean,
In my opinion,
I hope you agree with me on this.
And next week we'll come back and dive into an entirely new topic.
Yes,
Mom,
I have another one for next week.
It's so funny.
She asks me every single week if I've run out of topics.
Not yet,
Not quite yet,
But until next week when we do come back,
