Hello,

And welcome back to Unleash Your Peace.

My name is Ellie Shoja.

I am your host.

I am a positive mindset coach,

A personal transformation expert,

A deliberate creator,

And a peace trainer.

I love that title.

And this podcast is your peace training.

Every single week,

We pick a different topic to dig into.

And these topics take us deeper and deeper into that internal world where all of our answers lie.

The whole goal here is to help you release your unwanted pain and find lasting internal peace so that you can live your best life yet.

When you live from that place of joy and peace and connectedness to your higher source,

Your higher being,

You don't just incrementally improve the quality of your life.

You actually exponentially innovate every aspect of your experiences on this physical plane.

And when you do this,

You become your whole beautiful,

Powerful self.

And you cannot help but to uplift everyone who comes in your path.

And this is how we level up as a family,

As a community,

And as a society.

Very exciting stuff.

So this week,

We are talking about your life purpose.

We've talked about how there's not one thing that you're supposed to be doing.

That your life purpose is actually a moving target that evolves and changes as you do because you are an evolving and expanding being.

So then we talked about not looking for this life purpose outside of ourselves and looking for it within us.

Now imagine there's a safe with something incredibly valuable inside a train and this train is on the move.

Would you keep looking for that safe and for what is inside that safe at the train station?

Would you look for it in the field that the train passed five minutes ago?

Would you look for it in a city where the train was a week ago,

No,

You would look for that safe.

You would look for whatever is inside the safe on the train.

And that's where we are.

We are a moving target.

And our purpose is something that we take with us constantly.

It's not outside of us.

It's inside of us.

It doesn't make sense for your life purpose to be somewhere outside of you,

Does it?

No,

It doesn't.

It is a part of you.

It's a part of your journey.

So why then do we look for it outside of us always?

It's not there.

Look for it where it is.

And in order to do that,

We have to look within.

We have to quiet the mind.

And that's exactly what I want to talk about today.

We've talked a lot about inspiration.

And inspiration is when you hear that voice of your inner being,

That intelligent,

All-knowing,

Infinite part of you that has all of the answers.

That's your inner being.

And your inner being gives you this block of inspiration.

And you turn it into an idea.

And then your inner being says,

Marvelous.

That is a great idea.

Now let's go do it.

And your inner being guides you towards it.

And that's what inspired action is.

Now this whole equation is wonderful.

If we are working within that frame,

Then it is confusing that so many people don't actually achieve their life's dreams.

And that's because aside from your inner being,

There's another force at play inside of us.

And that's our ego.

Now the ego is tied to the body.

We need the ego to function in this human form.

The ego was born out of separation from our source.

When we chose to come into these physical bodies,

The ego was born.

For the ego,

Everything is very permanent.

So this world is very permanent because the ego is tied to this form,

To this body,

To this physical experience.

And that makes perfect sense.

So anything that threatens this physical experience is threatening to the ego.

The ego loves nothing more than pain because there's nothing more physical than pain.

There's nothing more spiritual of that nonphysical than love.

The ego loves things that are lower vibration.

The lower the frequency of something,

The more solid it is.

So matter has a lower vibration than thought,

For example.

And emotions have a whole spectrum of vibrations.

The highest vibration emotion is love.

The lowest vibration of emotion,

Can you guess what it is?

If you guessed fear,

You are absolutely correct.

So to the ego,

The most marvelous thing is fear.

And the ego will do everything for you to experience fear.

And the ego never tries harder than when you are on the brink of a breakthrough.

So now that we know all this stuff about the ego,

Doesn't it then make sense that whenever you have a really marvelous,

Amazing idea,

I am going to do this thing and it's going to be fantastic and it's amazing and I feel so excited and my heart is pounding and I just feel like I'm on top of the clouds.

That's how excited I am.

The next thought in your head is,

What if you fall?

What if you fail?

What if you're not good enough?

What if you're not worthy of it?

What if you tell people and they laugh at you?

You don't have the resources.

How in the world are you going to do this?

Who is going to help you?

You don't have any help.

People are so cruel.

They're not going to understand.

Who's going to give you money for this?

Who's going to buy into this idea?

Oh,

It's just a stupid idea anyways.

And one of the biggest mistakes we make is giving into the ego,

Is giving into the fear,

Is giving into this idea that we have to play it safe because we can't afford not to.

And I want to give you permission to not play it safe.

I want you to really look around and look at some of the people you admire most,

The people who have achieved what you want to achieve,

The people who have followed their dreams despite really huge adversities,

People who have been told they can't and they did it anyways.

And I want you to look at them and realize that it's okay to say no to the ego,

That it's okay to not cater to the ego,

That it's okay to not play it safe.

I guarantee you every single one of those individuals did not play it safe because you cannot play it safe and live your dream.

So your homework for today is to start noticing where your thoughts come from,

What they're rooted in.

Now that you know that fear is the tool that your ego uses the most,

It's your ego's favorite tool to use against you to keep you from your best life.

Now that you know this,

Can you recognize it?

And that's the question.
