Meditation Timer OnlineElena is a therapist with a background in psychology and a long-time meditation teacher. While her work today is rooted in professional training and experience, it was shaped just as much by her own healing journey. After losing her father, Elena found herself living with burnout, anxiety, and severe insomnia. Even with all her knowledge, her nervous system felt overwhelmed and unable to rest. What ultimately helped was not pushing harder, but a unique combination of Yoga Nidra, Somatic Experiencing trauma therapy, and hypnotherapy. She gradually recovered — without medication — and rediscovered a sense of safety, rest, and sleep. This lived experience became the heart of her work. Elena is deeply committed to supporting others on their recovery journey, especially those struggling with sleep, nervous system dysregulation, psychosomatic symptoms, and healing from burnout and anxiety. Her approach is gentle, trauma-sensitive, and grounded in the understanding that healing happens at the pace of the nervous system. She is based in Zurich, where she runs a private therapy practice specializing in Somatic Experiencing and hypnotherapy. She also leads retreats and professional training programs in Yoga Nidra. Elena is currently creating 100 guided meditations, each designed to offer a moment of rest, regulation, and inner safety. Her hope is that these practices support your sleep, your healing, and your journey back home to yourself.
