And welcome.
So take your time.
Let's get settled and ground and come into a still space.
You're welcome to come seated or lying down.
Let's make sure that we're comfortable and we're feeling held.
We want to allow whatever support we have to encapsulate us and to cocoon us and to warm us.
And so we can be present here.
And so this reading is about the contrast between dark and light.
So often that we want to run from the dark spaces within ourselves and only go towards the light.
But the dark is the contrast that shows us what light is.
And so allowing this to be a presence for us to not run from but to accept,
To learn to accept and to understand and come to a deeper sense of knowing that it's when we come into our most darkest spaces that we,
It's like when we hit rock bottom that we now have a place to go see from.
And so this is called the other side of light.
Take a deep breath and let that out.
How do you pick up your life,
Your world after such an awakening?
How does one just be what used to be after such a healing and spiritual journey?
How does one pick up the pieces of oneself,
Once a shattered being,
A shattered heart?
The flurry of internal shifts,
The dissolving and shedding of old,
The residue of a past no longer needed,
The newness of today,
Although doesn't come to live and love here now,
The places and the people,
The broken hearts,
The loss and the pain,
The absences of so many who have left here and those who remain unfulfilled still,
Sleeping while awake without purpose or drive or knowing.
For those,
All of those who have come into our lives,
The guides,
The teachers,
To teach us through contrast,
Who teach us through love,
Who teach us through our collective karma.
At times,
We don't really know why one enters into our life,
Our world,
Our presence,
And still they do.
A thin line between knowing and living,
Between wanting and needing to learn and experience what is called for us in the moment.
The grounded earth calls for me,
For you,
For us,
As does this humanity,
To heal,
To prosper,
To share and show the light,
To provide a path well lit for them to turn and share their love,
Their gifts,
Their knowing,
So they too can release their fear,
Doubt,
And to heal fully,
So they can experience their truth.
With this,
This inner knowing,
Truth is held and crawled like a baby,
As much as it is experienced,
It's the process as much as it is the outcome.
And we can have it all,
Dreams to dream and live for,
A life to envision into reality,
To see this world and create beautiful.
The answers to it all lay in front of us,
The knowing is all here,
It is all now,
The experiences are all before us,
This love that hasn't ever been felt yet,
It is unfolding every moment that we breathe.
The other side of light is not darkness,
It's not our shadows or our dark ego ruling us.
The other side of light is not our past carried forward into our now,
Our future.
The other side of light is not a dark place within nor outside of us,
It's not the dark side of the moon,
As we shine our love and our light there as we wish to.
The other side of light is space,
The emptiness that simply is,
The vastness that sees the light as it is.
It's this container that allows for such a divine creation to take place.
It's the gift of this void that provides the space for inspiration to flow,
For us humans to feel so deeply,
To love so beautifully,
The desire so passionately.
