Take a slow,
Deep breath in and gently exhale.
Let your shoulders drop.
Let your body settle.
You don't have to carry everything right now.
Take another deep breath in and release.
As you sit here in this moment,
Remind yourself you are safe,
You are held,
You are not alone.
Scripture tells us in Psalm 46 and 10,
Be still and know that I am God.
So right now,
We choose stillness.
Not because life is perfect,
But because God is present.
As you breathe in,
Silently say,
God is with me.
As you breathe out,
Release,
I am not alone.
Inhale,
God is with me.
Exhale,
I am not alone.
Let that rhythm settle your mind.
Let it quiet the noise.
Now imagine yourself in a peaceful place.
Maybe a quiet field or sitting near still waters.
You are not rushing.
You are not striving.
You are simply being.
Beside you is God's presence.
Not distant,
Not judging,
But near,
Steady,
Loving.
Scripture says in Psalm 23,
He leaves me beside still waters.
He restores my soul.
Allow yourself to be restored right here.
You don't have to fix everything.
You don't have to figure everything out.
Just rest.
