Up front. With all due respect, Dear one, Please remember you are talking with a soul. Let me be up front with you. Being with me will not always be comfortable. Please do not look to me to feed your mind or offer spoonfuls of easy answers that can satiate for the moment but leave you famished ten minutes later. Please do not look for me to keep you comfortable. I will not. If that is what you have come here for, Answers to make you and other Americans more comfortable, I want to tenderly say you came to the wrong place. The soul is not about comfort. It is about growth. The soul is not about ease. It is about persisting. The soul is not about doing things for you. It is about showing you your own strength. The soul is not about prepackaged meals. It is about huntering and gathering and cooking your own. And doing the dishes. And while I cannot promise you comfort, What I can promise you is way more valuable. The best life you can imagine. And then some. What's more important to you than comfort?
