The root chakra is the foundation of the chakra system. Its Sanskrit name is Muladhara, a term formed out of the words ‘root’ and ‘support.’ As such, maintaining a healthy and balanced root chakra is essential to living a fulfling life. The Root Chakra is the base of our life force energy, which links our external and internal world. If there’s a problem with the root chakra, people may feel unable to fell safe and secure. This meditation is to help heal the root Chakra so you can feel at peace

This is a meditation to heal and balance your root chakra.

Take a deep breath.

Feel your lungs completely with air.

Inhale deep.

Inhale.

Fully exhale.

Let all the air flow from your lungs.

Let your body settle into a breathing pattern.

Strong,

Deep inhale.

Fully exhale.

Deep inhale.

Completely exhale.

Visualize your root chakra.

The very base of your spine.

A glowing red wheel of energy.

Visualize that energy getting stronger and stronger.

Imagine yourself becoming surrounded by a glowing,

Glowing red light.

It feels warm,

Comfortable,

Peaceful.

Like being curled up by a fireplace in the winter.

Visualize the energy flowing from the earth onto you.

A warm,

Grounding energy.

Again,

With every breath,

With every inhale.

Think the word,

I am.

With every exhale,

Safe.

I am safe.

Let go of all the stress,

All the worry.

As you continue to breathe deeply,

Visualize in your mind the phrase,

I am whole.

I am whole.

Visualize and remember that all we need will be provided for us in time.

The universe takes care of us.

Sometimes it gives us lessons that seem hard.

Those lessons are necessary for us to become the person that we are supposed to be.

Relax deeper.

With every breath and every heartbeat,

Let yourself relax and connect with yourself.

Relax and breathe deeper and deeper.

Every breath making you more and more relaxed and more and more connected.

Let go.

Let all the stress and worry just fade away.

It's all going to be alright.

As we come to a close,

Realize you're safe.

You're okay.

Everything's going to be just fine.

Relax.

Breathe.

And don't worry about anything at all.

It's all going to be okay.
