Sun has always been a symbol of life and warmth.
As you're facing east,
Perhaps put your hands on your heart and acknowledge your inner sun.
Sometimes in yoga it's called the lotus heart and the heart is seen as the centre of our existence where our true self lies.
So we acknowledge our deepest self.
Give gratitude for things and people in your life.
See their faces.
Our next step is we send good wishes to those we love.
To the people who nurture and sustain us in our lives.
And the next step,
Commit to do one nourishing thing for yourself during this day.
Something that sustains you,
That makes you feel happy or content.
Make a positive affirmation or an intention for something you'd like to change in your life.
