Hope you guys are doing good.
Today's video message is all about forgiveness And it's not just something you do overnight.
You don't people don't just forgive just like that Here's sort of a reverse engineering of the whole process Ultimately,
We don't want to suffer people don't want to be carrying these grudges these resentments these pains around people this anger Towards others because ultimately what it does is it just hurts ourselves It keeps us distracted and we're not able to focus when we hold on to grudges resentments,
Etc So here's a quick practice you can do that will help you to reintegrate and open up the heart Once again,
You want to reverse engineer this you want to look at it instead of starting from forgiveness on the outside We want to get to that forgiveness within ourselves because most individuals what happens is we get angry that we let something happen to us We become a victim of a certain situation and some people You know,
They really do become victims of things The first thing we want to do is we want to accept that we're suffering I know for me personally the grudges I held or the resentments I held towards people my Journey to healing that really started with accepting.
I'm suffering right now.
I'm distracted.
I'm not in my own lane I'm so concentrated on what everybody else is doing or had to accept that thinking in that way was making me suffer and it was Reducing the quality of my life.
So the first thing you want to do is start with acceptance Accept that carrying this stuff hurts next step number two is build compassion Compassion for the conditioned mind when you have compassion for yourself,
You give yourself room to grow You know,
We all make mistakes We all make certain decisions that we know perhaps we shouldn't have made but this is how we grow when we have that compassion for ourselves And then from compassion you can get to forgiveness and then when you reach that state,
You're no longer Really concerned about what everyone else is putting out there because you recognize that people are just people and for the most part what we put Out is really what's within ourselves There's so much projection that goes on being aware of First where you are then building compassion for the self and then entering into that forgiving space It gives you the opportunity to really let and let your heart open again because life itself just wants to love on you Carrying pain anger resentment.
You might feel like it,
You know,
You got to go through that full spectrum of the emotion first I'm not saying bypass it What I'm saying is go through the full spectrum of it and then accept what's present and then you can reach that softening I have found that every time I did that process and I was carrying or harboring some triggers or anger or whatnot Every time I did this process my heart was able to open more and I started to attract Really really nice situations in my life the quality of my life increased More than what it was before the heart is this powerful magnet that has this mysterious way of attracting Situations and circumstances and people into our lives.
