Hi,
Welcome back to seven days of coming back to yourself.
This is day three and we are connecting with your emotional self and I'm really glad you're here.
Today we're just going to make a little bit of space for what you're feeling,
How you're feeling.
You don't even need to name it.
Just letting whatever you're feeling be present.
Just letting it be there and allowing me to hold space for you while you feel it.
Just taking some breaths.
Maybe you've been trying to hold it all together for a really long time.
Maybe you've been processing through talking about things for a really long time but yet you're still feeling something deep within you that feels heavy.
Maybe that you feel misunderstood or that you can't speak your truth but I'm here to tell you that you're not too much.
And you're allowed to feel.
Your emotions are allowed to be felt.
So if you've joined me in day one and day two we've spoken about and practiced coming to home base.
So I invite you to do that now.
Using your hands,
Placing one on your heart center and one on your solar plexus and just breathing.
Taking a conscious deep breath,
Full breath and releasing that breath.
And whatever it is that you're feeling in your emotional body it could be uncertainty or sadness boredom,
Anger,
Guilt un-forgiveness,
Resentment,
Shame,
Confusion.
It's all welcome here.
Imagine that you have a basket that you're holding a basket and all your emotions are in that basket.
And I am seeing each one good and not so good feeling as rose petals in your basket.
I invite you to take your hand and put it in the basket and pick up a handful of these rose petals that represent all the emotions that are part of you.
Love,
Joy,
Peace,
Frustration and imagine that you're scattering them in a circle around you.
And just see yourself looking down at these soft rose petals.
Maybe they're all the same color,
Maybe they're different colors and they're representing all these parts of you.
All these feelings they come and go they're all part of the human experience and each one is part of the whole.
Just like each petal of a rose is part of the whole rose.
And you are the rose.
You are beauty.
You are love.
You are soft and gentle.
That is your essence.
That is your gift.
You have my permission to feel all the feels and the best way to move through emotions in a healthy way is to work with your breath is to practice self-love and compassion and to move your body in a healthy way.
Expressing your feelings through writing,
Journaling,
Can be very helpful too.
But you matter.
You're not too much.
Your emotions make up you and there may be experiences and circumstances that have brought you to feeling the way that you feel right now and that's okay.
You found a safe container the work I do is to offer safe space and to facilitate coming back in and home to yourself.
So I hope that you'll join me again tomorrow day four.
Whenever you're ready you can gently come back and let everything settle with your breath.
Reminding yourself again that you are allowed to feel what you're feeling and you are so loved.
