Love is in the air. That love greats us as our first breath. We are reminded of our birthright to love as we embrace a newborn. Even in our last breath we are in the womb of love and continue to be love. The universe embraces the universe in our arms.

The great reminder that we are all one,

The breath.

And it greeted you as you were born.

And as soon as you came out of that womb,

One of the very first things that you did was breathe in.

And the universe in that moment was saying,

Function on love.

Love without thought.

Love without thinking.

Love without value of worth.

Nobody checked to see if you had earned it yet.

Soon as you come out of the womb,

You're greeted by the love of air.

You bring it into your lungs for that first time.

And in that moment,

Even though you were so scared because you came out of this warm,

Cozy place where everything was just right,

And you're in this world,

In this different temperature,

And your body's like,

What the heck?

I've been used to being all,

Like,

Underwater all this time.

It was all cozy.

And you come out.

And there's all these people there.

And that very first reminder is,

Breathe in,

You're loved.

Breathe in,

You're here.

And if you've ever held a little baby,

Oh my gosh,

Aren't they beautiful?

Even the ugly ones.

They're all beautiful.

And we get quiet when we hold them.

We just look at them.

We love them.

There's something there that reminds us how lovable we are.

You were born for love.

To both receive and to give.

And to make sure that this concept was not forgotten.

You were greeted with air the moment you were born.

And it filled your lungs.

And you recognized it.

And you loved back.

And the people that held you that didn't have words for the love they felt.

I think it's such a good reminder.

Because it doesn't matter if they poop on us or pee on us.

And yes,

We can feel the frustration of trying to get out the door.

And oh my god,

What did you eat?

And how did it come out like that?

But this helpless little thing that isn't yet earning its keep,

We adore them.

And that's how we are to treat ourselves and each other.

It's not to put barriers up.

But to just embrace.

Oh my gosh,

Embrace.

And hold yourself as precious.

Because what is connecting you to that little baby and what's connecting that little baby to you is love.

The recognition of this undercurrent.

You know,

It's not just,

Well here's a child and here's me and we're just going to be nice,

We're going to love each other,

You're my child.

But underneath that,

The universe is holding the universe in its arms and giving smooches and kisses.

And just as you hold that little baby,

No matter what it does,

Poops,

Pees,

Cries,

So does the universe love you that way.

And it's you loving you that way.

Because you are not separate from the universe.

The fact that the universe is loving is because you are loving.

You are mutually creating with all that is.

Love.

And that love is not thinking about who deserves it.

It's just loving.

Because that's what love does.

It's very simple.

And reminding us to embrace and love.

To feel the embrace of the universe around us.

As we are all held in that unifying womb that is constantly creatively giving birth to love.

I try to remember myself,

Especially when I'm in a situation where it might become uncomfortable,

To first feel comfort inside of myself.

And how comfortable it is when we know there's no rules around receiving love.

That it is the air,

Both literally and metaphorically,

The air we breathe.

And the moment that we do not breathe another breath.

We are received into the rhythm of the breath.

Everything functions on rhythm.

The inhale,

The exhale.

Music.

Heartbeats.

Earth.

Gravity.

Planets.

And as soon as we no longer take an inhale of breath,

And as soon as we express out that last exhale of breath,

We are received back into all that is.

And the rhythm that is also a reminder of our eternal connectedness.

So when you become the exhale and return to all that is,

You'll be generating that rhythm and continuing,

And loving.

We might as well get good at love,

Because we're going to be doing it for eternity.

Because not only are we exchanging the air that we breathe,

And that love is expressing through the air,

The inhale and the exhale.

It's also expressing as a vibration.

And what a lovely vibration you all are.

Each and every vibration.

Perfect as it is.

Without the need for perfection.

And that's the thing about perfection.

It already is.

As it is.

And it is as it changes.

Like I look at this cup,

And it's been through quite a bit.

This was my grandmother's cup.

She drank coffee out of it.

Bought it in 2007.

It was perfect then,

And it's perfect now.

Just as you are perfection.

See,

It's something that you are.

Not something you create.

Not something that doesn't fall or fail.

The perfection is all of it.

And still being love.

That's the perfection.
