Isn't it time for you to let go of today?

Is it not time for you to rest?

Time to sleep?

You can lie down on your bed and listen to this using your headphones.

Take a deep breath after you lie down.

Take a deep breath and become aware of your breath filling your belly.

And when it is full,

Let it go with a big sigh.

As you let it go,

Become aware of your body sinking into your bed.

Take another deep breath and watch your belly fill up like a balloon.

Once filled,

Hold for a second and let it go with a deep sigh.

Feel your body sink deeper and deeper into the mattress.

Take one more deep breath.

Fill your belly like a balloon and deflate it with a sigh and sink further and further into your mattress.

It is time to let go of today.

You have done your best already.

Whatever more to be done can be done tomorrow or later.

Today is done and dusted.

Let go of all the worries,

Concerns,

Issues,

People,

Events and whatever else has held your attention while you were awake today.

Now it is time for sleep to take over.

Let go of everything that has held your attention today.

It is time for you to fall asleep and get that rest that your mind,

Body and emotions need so badly.

Tomorrow you will need all your strength and vitality to tackle whatever turns up and to live your life fully.

You have done your best today.

There could have been successes,

Challenges,

Learnings,

Gains or losses.

There may be some unfinished tasks too but it is okay.

It is okay to let them go now.

They can be taken up again tomorrow or another day.

Whatever is done is done and dusted.

Give gratitude to all the people who have supported you today,

Helped you with products,

Services,

Good wishes,

Love,

Concern or anything else that made your day easy.

Perhaps a smile,

Perhaps an eye contact,

Perhaps just that good feeling of being in someone's presence.

Probably there was not time for you to acknowledge and thank them.

Perhaps you may be taking them for granted in your busy life.

Just notice,

Acknowledge and mentally thank every single human being,

The universe and any force that has helped make your life easier today.

There is so much of humanity involved in what we are enjoying on a day to day basis.

From the bed we sleep in,

The furnishings in the room,

Clothes,

Home,

Vehicles we use,

Food that we have had,

The water that we drank,

It takes a whole village,

City,

Country or even the whole world to provide you with what you are consuming on a day to day basis.

You are a child of this universe,

A citizen of this world and everyone in it contributes to everyone else's survival and happiness.

Thank every single person who has contributed to your having had a good day or at least portions of a good day.

And if by chance you had more challenges than successes,

It is time to acknowledge that perhaps they were there to help you grow,

To become bigger and stronger than the challenge.

Your sleep tonight is going to prepare you better for life tomorrow.

You will emerge stronger,

More prepared and better able to deal with them tomorrow.

Now it is time for rest.

You can thank your heart for beating ceaselessly and supporting you through the day.

It is time for your heart to slow down gently into its night time rhythm.

You can thank your mind for working all the time.

It is time for it to take its rest and sleep.

Thank you Nick,

Your head for holding up and facing the day.

It is time for them to rest and sink into the pillows and into blissful,

Easy sleep.

Thank your lungs for working without a stop,

Providing your heart with the much needed oxygen to rejuvenate you.

Let them gently support you through the night as you sleep.

Thank your limbs,

Your arms,

Your feet for helping you be productive through the day and supporting you in your daily chores.

It is time for them to rest and get their much needed sleep.

Then thank your skin,

All your organs,

Your bones,

Muscles,

Every cell of your body.

Let them rest and let them get their beauty sleep.

It is time to let go of all the activities of the day.

Let your body,

Mind and emotions rest and sleep.

You can wake up tomorrow morning for a fresh start.

Empty your mind,

Drop everything.

Allow the universe and our creator to bear the weight for the night.

It is not yours to carry now.

It is time to let them go.

It is time for you to sleep.

Your eyes are getting heavier and heavier.

It is time to let them go to sleep.

It is time to embrace this deep healing sleep that is coming upon you,

To gently embrace you and keep you in its carous all night long,

Protecting you,

Caring for you,

Renewing you,

Cleansing and repairing all those parts which need care.

And repairing all those cells that need repair.

Sleep my child.

The universe is here to take care of you.

Welcome this deep healing sleep.

Your tiredness is dissolving into this restful sleep.

It's been a good day.

You're alive.

You're preparing yourself for one more day of your life and many,

Many more days of a glorious life.

Sleep now.

Tomorrow you will be stronger.

Welcome your sleep.

Enjoy the heaviness as you sink into the bed.

Feel your body sinking deeper and deeper into the bed.

Your feet,

Ankles,

Shins,

Knees,

Thighs are also rested.

They feel heavy as they sink into the mattress.

Your hip,

Back,

Shoulders,

Arms,

All heavy and all sinking into the bed.

Head is rested,

Relaxed,

Getting heavy as it sinks into the pillow.

Sleep restful sleep.

Now envelopes you.

Nothing can hold you back to wakefulness until tomorrow morning.

Everything is done and dusted.

It's just time to sleep.

Eyelids getting heavier and heavier.

Body feels heavier and heavier as it sinks into the so comfortable bed.

It's fine to sleep.

It's time to let go.

You're deeply loved,

Deeply cared for.

You're asleep,

Falling asleep.

Good night my love.

Keep tight.
