In this short, 2-day course, which can be repeated as often as needed, we will look at how to compost difficult experiences and emotions to become the hero(ine)s of our journeys. We will begin by discussing how both physical and emotional pains can be teachers and, while never pleasant, offer us a certain strength that we can tap. As we move forward, we'll examine extreme emotions, such as anger, jealousy, and worry, and work to compost those emotions so that we can find true and sustainable growth.

Lektion 1
Listening Deeply To Pain
“You think your pain and your heartbreak are unprecedented in the history of the world, but then you read. It was books that taught me that the things that tormented me most were the very things that connected me with all the people who were alive, who had ever been alive.” ― James Baldwin
By looking at the origin of our pain with curiosity and attention, we can bring mindful attention to the messages it contains. While pain is not something we seek, it may bring with it a deepening of presence when met with awareness.
Lektion 2

“The cure for pain is in the pain.” ― Rumi
Today, we'll begin with compassion. By taking a holistic view of how pain moves in our lives, we can see what lives on the other side. What is available to you today?
