In this third session, we will learn about the neurological effects of anxiety and how meditation can help us maintain a healthy brain. Neuroscience indicates that anxiety generates a "fight or flight" reaction and consequently, the body fills with stress hormones. Mindfulness can help us calm our nervous system, de-excite our amygdala, and restore our natural balance.
