Don't Hide, A Song Of Awakening

This is a song I wrote on piano when I was 17, at the age of awakening when I was finding my place in the world, taking a good hard look at just what I was emerging into. I was distressed and moved by the awful plight of so many in war-torn countries. I wrote this song for them, and have finally recorded it (including strings, flute, and saxophone) so many years later. May this awaken your empathy, that you may send love and healing to those who need it most.

Thank you, as one that is prone to depression and isolation, that’s exactly what I needed to hear, “Don’t Hide”! It’s also a lovely melody. We can all find a way to let our Love Shine thru whatever creates barriers to seeing all humans as Interconnected in order to become part of the solution for all beings and our environment.
