This guided meditation is brought to you by WaymarkMinistries.
Com This meditation is taken from the Kame prayer,
From the book,
Celtic Prayers and Practices,
And in a journey by David Cole.
Begin by sitting in a comfortable position.
Ensuring you have a good posture so that you can breathe easily.
Ensure you have a nice,
Easy breathing rhythm,
Gently flowing in and out.
The Kame prayer is an ancient Celtic practice.
From the Celtic Christians,
Many centuries ago,
Kame is a Celtic word which means encircling.
And the Celtic Kame prayer was used as a prayer for encircling protection.
To keep the sense and the divine presence within,
And all ill and harm out.
Encircled.
Protected.
Encircle me,
Lord.
Keep peace within,
And keep turmoil out.
Encircle me,
Lord.
Keep love within,
Keep hatred out.
Encircle me,
Lord.
Keep your light within,
Keep spiritual darkness out.
Encircle me,
Lord.
Keep your light within,
Keep your darkness out.
Encircle me,
Lord.
Keep faith within,
Keep doubt out.
Encircle me,
Lord.
Keep your light within,
Keep spiritual darkness out.
Encircle me,
Lord.
Keep calm within,
Keep tension out.
Keep tension out.
Encircle me,
Lord.
Keep health within,
Keep sickness out.
Encircle me,
Lord.
Keep your light within,
Keep spiritual darkness out.
I'll say the words of the Kame prayer again,
But I will leave a space for you to place your own things that you want in and kept out.
Encircle me,
Lord.
Keep in and keep out.
Encircle me,
Lord.
Keep in and keep out.
Encircle me,
Lord.
Keep in and keep out.
May the encircling protection of the Divine be with you in all you do today.
In every place you go to and everyone you meet.
