Welcome.
This meditation is about kindness,
Compassion,
And community connection.
It's about honoring ourselves and others and recognizing our place in the world.
It is a very intentional meditation.
So I invite you at this time to get comfortable,
Either seated or lying down.
And,
If you're comfortable doing so,
Closing your eyes.
We begin by gently breathing in and breathing out,
Allowing our breath to find a nice,
Gentle rhythm,
Giving ourselves permission to sit in this quiet space,
Knowing there's nowhere we need to go and nothing else we need to be doing except being present in this moment.
I'm going to give a few cues and there will be some long pauses in between.
In those spaces,
Allow the words to sink in,
Allow yourself to cultivate the feelings suggested in the words.
As I breathe in,
I invite peace and serenity.
As I breathe out,
I offer peace and serenity to those around me.
As I breathe in,

As I breathe in,
I welcome love and compassion.
As I breathe out,
I send love and compassion to the world.
